The Use of Web Based Technologies for Knowledge Sharing Among Undergraduate In ATBU Bauchi

Abstract

The research is aimed at examining the use of Web-based technologies on knowledge sharing, specifically whether there is difference between males and females students on the use of Web-based services to share skills within the university. A questionnaire was designed and administered using Stratified method of sampling. A total of 263 students from all the seven (7) Faculties responded to the research. Descriptive statistic and cross tabulation were used in the data analysis to measure the relationship between males and females students in sharing knowledge. The results show that both the males and females use the web based technologies for knowledge sharing. In addition, both the males and female are facing the same challenges in using the web based technologies for knowledge sharing.
