There are two environments of energy harvester namely outdoor activities and indoor activities. The indoor sources can be obtained from plant microbial fuel cells, vibration energy from machine, and radio frequency energy or electromagnetic energy from telecommunications signal. This paper is interested in vibration energy. One of the material that can convert mechanical energy ie vibration to electrical energy is piezoelectric material. Piezoelectric material can convert stress i.e vibration into charge i.e electrical energy. This paper is proposed an interdigitated electrodes (IDE) pattern with unimoprh piezoelectric cantilever generator (PCG) with flame retardant 4 (FR4) for energy harvesting device. PVDF is used as piezoelectric material. The characterization of IDE with different finger length and width are discussed. The PVDF is used as sensing element and targeted to increase the displacement because of their flexibility. Three designs have been developed in difference sizes of electrode finger width, 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 2.0mm with the same gap between electrode finger, 0.5mm. The experiments were characterized the pressure effect to energy harvester, the vibration effect to energy harvester and frequency of tap on energy harvester effect to energy storage. The results are show that the size of finger width 2.0 mm will produce more energy compare to 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm. Mostly the iron system in the current market still uses the classic switching system which means the output is just produced on and off to control the temperature of iron without permanently cut the current through to iron. Besides, decision making from the latest project only cuts the current if there is no motion and current in low without setting any range to switch the timer to off the iron system. The goal of this product is to develop the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) in the auto off switching iron. Rules of the fuzzy logic enable to control of the complex system to be more effectively compared classical method which operates on discrete value only. The design of the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) will implement in Arduino Nano to control the auto off switch iron. This study uses the current sensor and ultrasonic sensor as the input that will send the signal to the Arduino nano as the controller to set the output. The process of this entire product is to collect the signal from the input which is the sensor, analyze the input in fuzzy controller and obtain the right time to auto off the switch iron. All the rules of membership function will set in Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System in MATLAB software. Lung cancer is the common cause of death among people throughout the world. Lung cancer detection can be done in several ways, such as Radiography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT). These methods use a lot of resources in terms of time and money. However, CT has good detection of classification, offers a lower cost, short imaging time and widespread availability. Early diagnosis of lung cancer can help doctors to treat patients in order to reduce number of mortalities. Therefore, the primary aim of this research is to establish an image processing method to segment CT scan images of lung cancer using image segmentation algorithms. The proposed method comprises the following steps which involves using image processing technique: data collection, image segmentation and region growing. Lastly, the performance evaluation was calculated by referring to accuracy, precision, recall and F-score test. Data were collected from the Advance Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI), Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. Image segmentation algorithms such as k-means clustering, Otsu's thresholding and watershed segmentation were applied to segment the lung image. Then, region growing was applied to detect the lung area. The segmentation algorithm performance was evaluated by using the above mentioned performance analysis. Despite this model's heightened non-linearity and complexity for being a triple link system, it has enabled additional degree of freedom for having a two-wheeled mechanism. The model was developed in SimWise 4D to maintain its complex features, while allowing observations to the system's movements. The developed system was then integrated with Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control, as designed in Matlab/Simulink. Specifically, Particle Swarm Optimization was applied to obtain the optimal values for input/output gain and parameters of the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control, towards enhancing the system's performance. Results have shown that the proposed controller was able to perform forward and backward motions control to the system in an upright position. The system is able to perform motion task with recorded system velocity of 0.04m/s and 0.02m/s for forward and backward motions, respectively. The controller was then evaluated based on its velocity and angular position or in stable manner. Family members' history, however, gives a strong indication of the probable risk of middle heart failure. Cardiac anomaly hardly shows early signs, resulting in patient's sudden death. Heartbeat is generally an irregular electrical boost or activity of the heart. In this research, the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) network is used as an early monitoring system to detect cardiac abnormality. The database of the MIT-BIH is used to extract the cardiac abnormality dataset, which was then used to train the chosen MLP network with multiple training algorithms by using Tansig as the activation function for the MLP network.
