The Genetics refers to inheritance of characters from the parental generation and to the changes in the characters that occur between the offspring of the parents. Mendelian heredity principles forms the foundation over which the modern understanding of the evolutionary process, i.e., “Modern Synthesis” was built. Mathematical derivations, equations and models were used by geneticists and evolutionists as tools to understand the Evolutionary Genetics over the period of time.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133448548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To collect the data from the retail investors, the convenient sampling and snow ball sampling techniques were used. The study’s target population was 156 retail investors across all age groups. The statistical tools like One-way ANOVA tests, independent sample ttest and correlation tests were used to analyze the collected data. From this study we conclude that the major factors influencing the changes in investment preferences and pattern were interest to take risks, influence of pandemic by means of time and need for passive income and objective to earn higher returns.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114399071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While, it helps to the student community in building a strong foundation for the professional career ahead without facing the real-world job struggle, peer-competition or family pressure, a good placement record gives a competitive edge to an institution / University in their educational market. Campus placements provide the students with a foot-in- the-door opportunity, enabling them to start off their career right after they have completed their course curriculum. Furthermore, they get to interact and engage with the industry professionals during the placement drives, which further help lay a foundation for their prospective career in the future as they familiarize with potential contacts from their chosen career field. Placements have gradually become an integral part of an institute’s offerings, which was not the scenario earlier. Nowadays, students pay special attention to placement records while selecting a college or university for the admission. And it is rightly so, if a student is paying huge amount of parents’ hard-earned money as fees to the institutes/Universities, he/she has the right to calculate the ROI (return on investment), which in this case is a lucrative job. This research paper clearly identifies various influencing factors of Covid19 on employment market, employment opportunities of young graduates during pandemic period and impact of Covid19 on employment market for fresher during first wave period of Covid19 in the study area.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124899235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
