So, it has become mandatory for developing country like India to increase automation in banking industry. Customers are no longer restricted to visiting physical locations for banking services such as cash withdrawals, check deposits, and account statement retrieval. Any query or transaction is handled online in real Internet banking at any time without involving a branch. The availability of Internet banking is shifting from being a \"nice to have\" to a \"need to have\" service. This study compares consumer preferences for traditional banking against electronic banking. The survey also looks into the most common reasons why individuals use electronic banking, examines what people think about electronic and traditional banking, and determines the issues users encounter with both types of banking. The results of this study shed light on the variables that affect people's preference for electronic devices and offer recommendations for improving the banking services.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"137 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125632962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The agricultural and allied sector employs about 54.6 percent of the country's total workforce and accounts for nearly 17.8 percent of GDP in 2019-20. The new financing policies, market reforms, and food processing policies as part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat gave new life into the sector. However, Indian agriculture has faced various challenges, mitigation of which requires a holistic policy approach. The crop productivity is much lower than in other advanced and emerging market economies due to fragmented landholdings, lower form mechanisation and lower public and private investment in agriculture. This article articulates the issues in agriculture and food grains management in India.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134327157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several theoretical perspectives, such as the human capital theory, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and selfdetermination theory, argue that entrepreneurship education is positively correlated with students' entrepreneurial intentions because it provides them with adequate knowledge and skills and motivates them to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. Exposure to successful entrepreneurial models in entrepreneurship education programmes may be a significant factor in boosting student’s confidence in their ability to start a business and improving their attitudes toward entrepreneurship. The goal of this study is to identify characteristics that students believe are unique to a successful entrepreneur.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":" 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113946339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Reserve Bank of India introduced payment banks to promote digital, paperless, and cashless banking in the country. Payment banks offer basic banking services to unbanked and underbanked individuals, particularly migrant workers and those from lower-income households, and bring them into the formal economy. The trend towards digital payments and net banking has increased, especially after the impact of demonetization and the COVID-19 pandemic. Neo banking is a fintech-powered concept that operates entirely in the virtual space. Technology has become crucial to satisfy customer demands, leading to the emergence of payment banks and neo banks. Despite their growing importance, research on payment banks and neo banks in India is limited. This paper aims to study customer awareness and usage of payment banks and neo banks in Chennai city.","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125590274","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our culture, we say Mata, Pita, Guru, and Devam, where the Teacher is above god. Teachers are the reason that we are where we are; whatever we have achieved in life, it is because of the letters that were taught to us where the letters evolved into sentences, where sentences evolved into subjects, and where subjects evolved into specialization. A teacher's teaching from their subject knowledge and experience helps a student make decisions properly because he will avoid mistakes and, in turn, save time and move ahead. This study aims at focusing on the impact that NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 has created on the teacher’s diversity and its impact on student’s achievement before and after its implementation. The NEP 2020 was a much-needed change in the Indian education policy that focuses more on practical oriented teaching when compared to the present policy where students are thought methodically without any real time impact. This policy is more comprehensive not only teaching wise but the inclusion of teachers from various background and having a good experience in the particular subject and expertise in that industry, this is a boon for students since they will have access to industry specialist which will enhance their further knowledge and in turn can achieve many things by applying that knowledge to push himself in the market","PeriodicalId":221284,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH STUDIES","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121227156","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
