Members of the Task Group AX have proposed several solutions for improving spectrum efficiency in high density scenarios. In this paper we analyze efficiency of Basic Service Set (BSS) color, one of those solutions proposed for spatial reuse and improvement of area throughput. Using ns-3 network simulator, we model a hotspot scenario consisting of 7 overlapping basic service sets, implementing BSS color to identify the source of detected transmission. Nodes in each BSS use two Carrier Sense Thresholds (CSTs) for sensing the channel, where the higher threshold value is being applied for detection of inter-BSS frames. We show that, by selecting higher threshold for detecting frames from other access points (foreign frames), spectrum efficiency can be improved and area throughput can be increased. However, if the value of this threshold is too high, it can have a counterproductive effect, as it increases interference and probability of error in reception. Therefore, we present the upper limit value of CST, which should not be exceeded in the presented communication scenario, as well as a range of threshold values that enables improvement of area throughput.","PeriodicalId":220339,"journal":{"name":"2020 24th International Conference on Information Technology (IT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130453170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays it's really hard to keep track of huge amount of data and information that even small enterprises deal with. Knowledge management also plays a significant role in the whole story. Assuming all this, it is essential to know how those applications can help speeding up processes in almost every company, as well as making employees more productive. This review introduces some notable software solutions and possibilities to integrate them with the email. Furthermore, it provides both the comparison between given solutions and suggestions on what types of businesses are suitable for some of these applications.","PeriodicalId":220339,"journal":{"name":"2020 24th International Conference on Information Technology (IT)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126911897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Structured system analysis describes all the system functions, data stores and algorithms of the functions. When all of the functions of the system are described, they can be grouped into microservices. These microservices should be loosely coupled and highly cohesive. Rules for grouping microservices will be presented. It will be shown not only how to declare functions as microservices but also how to decompose data stores, thus these microservices share-as-little-as-possible by having separate databases.","PeriodicalId":220339,"journal":{"name":"2020 24th International Conference on Information Technology (IT)","volume":"256 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116230162","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As energy harvesting is gaining more importance, new antenna designs with better performance are getting more research attention. In this paper, starting point is a simple bow tie slot antenna. By analyzing simulation results, two significant modifications are proposed in order to upgrade antenna performance at frequencies available for energy harvesting. In order to improve antenna's impedance and bandwidth, first modification is proposed- creating an asymmetrical bowtie shape. Furthermore, antenna is introduced to a fractal structure providing better results with major improvement in multifrequency operations and broadening bandwidth.","PeriodicalId":220339,"journal":{"name":"2020 24th International Conference on Information Technology (IT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132647146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After experimenting with several OCR tools, an open source software called Tesseract OCR engine was selected for the pilot solution. The paper discusses the implementation and image processioning that improved detection accuracy. The coding was done in the Python programming language. Typically, it is used for modular arithmetic over integer rings to prevent the expensive inversion for the modulo reduction. In this work, we consider modular arithmetic over rings of Gaussian integers. Gaussian integers are subset of the complex numbers such that the real and imaginary parts are integers. In many cases Gaussian integer rings are isomorphic to ordinary integer rings. We demonstrate that the concept of the Montgomery multiplication can be extended to Gaussian integers. Due to independent calculation of the real and imaginary parts, the computation complexity of the multiplication is reduced compared with ordinary integer modular arithmetic. This concept is suitable for coding applications as well as for asymmetric key cryptographic systems, such as elliptic curve cryptography or the Rivest-Shamir-Adleman system.","PeriodicalId":220339,"journal":{"name":"2020 24th International Conference on Information Technology (IT)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116785640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimal value of reactive power of SVC device and corresponding minimal power system losses are calculated by using program package General Algebraic Modeling System - GAMS.
