The mentioned investigation is evaluated on the IEEE 24-bus and modified IEEE 24-bus systems. In this paper, modified version of IEEE 24-bus system is realized by connecting 15MW wind farm in node 5 of tested network. The optimal value of reactive power of SVC device and corresponding minimal power system losses are calculated by using program package General Algebraic Modeling System - GAMS.
