Les recommandations permettent aux sites web de transmettre des informations adaptees aux besoins des utilisateurs et contribuent ainsi a reduire leurs efforts de recherche d’informations. Malgre l’enthousiasme des entreprises a l’egard des recommandations en ligne personnalisees, des travaux anterieurs ont montre que cette pratique necessitait de prendre des precautions afin d’en eviter les eventuels effets contre-productifs. Cette recherche vise a identifier les conditions dans lesquelles la justification des recommandations de produits presentees sur un site web est necessaire. Ce travail compare les effets de la justification, d’une part, lorsque la recommandation est emise par un site Web sur lequel l’utilisateur a deja navigue et, d’autre part, lorsqu’elle est emise par un site partenaire. Selon la theorie des niveaux de representation, un site sur lequel l’utilisateur a deja navigue constitue une source proximale de recommandation, tandis qu’un site partenaire represente une source distale. Au moyen d’un plan factoriel complet impliquant 328 participants, cette etude examine les effets de l’interaction entre la justification (justifiee vs non justifiee) et la source (proximale vs distale) d’une recommandation. Les resultats revelent qu’une recommandation emise par une source proximale est plus persuasive lorsque la recommandation est justifiee que lorsqu’elle ne l’est pas. Des resultats inverses sont obtenus avec une source distale. L’intrusion percue est le mecanisme sous-jacent a ces effets.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"252 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115618970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Au travers du cadre de la theorie du don (Mauss, 1954), nous proposons une approche basee sur une boucle du don au sein des reseaux sociaux. Nous utilisons des donnees et techniques de recherche mixtes, avec une approche Glaserienne de la theorie enracinee. A l’aide de donnees qualitatives et quantitatives, nous definissons et modelisons les composantes du triptyque du don sur les reseaux sociaux ; ces composantes expliquent de maniere significative la durabilite des liens sociaux mediates. Nous mettons en evidence la relation entre les dynamiques du don reciproque et la continuite/discontinuite d’usage de Facebook. Nos resultats nous permettent de mettre en exergue l’importance de l’impact de nouvelles variables sur la continuite d’usage de Facebook. En effet, nous demontrons que la boucle du don-contre-don definie par le triptyque donner-recevoir-rendre explique la continuite d’usage du reseau social puisque les personnes qui entrent dans cette dynamique du don sont les plus enclines a utiliser le reseau social d’une maniere continue.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126910322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, the way bank managers use information in the credit-granting process remains a black box in the existing econometric studies. On the basis of a statistical textual analysis conducted on prior-to-credit-committee notices of 52 credit files stemming from a social bank, our paper offers three main contributions. First, we show that the social bank under scrutiny produces a rich idiosyncratic knowledge mainly composed of soft information. Second, we reveal how the qualitative and the quantitative dimensions of the idiosyncratic knowledge are used when credit conditions are determined; hierarchy playing a key role in this process of interpretation. Third, our results indicate that the bank relies on an information system as well as on its agents’ cognitive abilities to memorise the idiosyncratic knowledge it produces. In this respect, our research points out deficiencies in the bank’s organisational memory and suggests some directions to remedy them.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134066029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its dynamic can be analyzed through the lens of performativity , a whole wave of research with the aim to understand how a theory or doctrine can feasibly make real what it theorizes and encourages. “Health democracy” intends to reduce the disproportionate distribution of power in doctor/patient relationships. In parallel, different innovations related to the ir- ruption of E-health (social networks, web applications, and other devices) are currently modifying the practices, and thereby reconstructing the relationships between patients and professionals. Based on a corpus analysis, using a scoping review method, this article ex- plores the ways E-health modifies the process of performativity in the “health democracy”. Two effects are identified: a co-production introduced in the classic relationship between patients and healthcare professionals thanks to a better follow-up at distance, and a new form of expertise based on the information circulating on the internet. Each effect develops its own benefits and risks. In order to optimize this new added-value offered by E-health on patient engagement, many managerial consequences must be taken into account. Em- ploying a narrative approach to the dynamics currently at play, it establishes that E-health represents a process of performativity of health democracy by “overflowing”. It also high- lights a risk of counter-performativity: in that if the traditional patient/doctor relationship is less asymmetric, answering to the “health democracy”’s demand may pose another risk related to the use of internet-based information that threats this equilibrium.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129305487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, empirical evidence on the effects of the generation of these digital data on firm performance remains scarce in the Information Systems and Management literature. Therefore, from a dynamic capability perspective, this paper examines whether companies' ability to leverage digital data, which we call their Digital Data dynamic capability, leads to better financial performance, and whether there are moderating effects on this relationship. In order to achieve these goals, the following research questions are addressed: 1) To what extent do firms that develop Digital Data dynamic capabilities achieve better financial performance? 2) To what extent do organisational and industry-related environmental conditions moderate the relationship between a firm's Digital Data dynamic capability and financial performance? We empirically test our hypotheses through partial least square modelling using a financial database and a survey of sales managers from 125 firms. We find that the development of Digital Data dynamic capability provides value in terms of firm financial performance and that the moderating effects are influential: under high levels of dynamism and munificence in younger firms, the relationship is stronger. Overall, this study evaluates the potential business value of firm digital data use and addresses a lack of empirical evidence on this issue in the Information Systems literature. We discuss two managerial implications. First, managers should pay more attention to digital data phenomena and to ways of leveraging value creation opportunities. Second, managers must evaluate their environmental and organisational characteristics when business opportunities from digital data are taken into account.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122614687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Le capital social a ete choisi comme cle de lecture des ressources inscrites au sein d’un reseau d’innovateurs. Le terrain de recherche, QualiREG, est un reseau d’innovation reunissant des acteurs disperses sur plusieurs territoires de l’Ocean Indien. Une etude quantitative a ete realisee en collaboration avec les managers du reseau. Les parties prenantes de QualiREG ont ete interrogees dans le cadre d’une enquete en ligne. Les donnees des 97 reponses obtenues ont ete traitees par les Methodes d’Equations Structurelles (PLS) expliquant les effets du reseau sur ses adherents. Les resultats montrent que deux dimensions, la reputation et le support a l’innovation, sont significativement liees et ont un effet sur la contribution du reseau au developpement de ses membres. Le role des technologies est double. Elles permettent de mobiliser des actifs favorisant l’innovation dans le reseau et d’ameliorer la visibilite des acteurs au sein du reseau. La recherche est source de contributions manageriales et theoriques. Sur le plan managerial, les managers de reseaux d’innovation sont invites a placer le Systeme d’Information au cœur de leurs demarches de management. D’un point de vue theorique, une discussion est ouverte sur deux points. D’une part, le reseau d’innovation apparait comme un espace d’apprentissage relationnel au sein duquel la reputation, en tant que ressource, joue un role determinant. D’autre part, l’intervention des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) dans la constitution de capital social invite a developper l’idee d’un capital sociotechnique.","PeriodicalId":220138,"journal":{"name":"French Journal of Management Information Systems","volume":"8 1-2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114123094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
