Therefore, it is required to develop the reference model in order to analyze security requirements and enhance the security of home area network. In this paper, home area network centric smart grid logical architecture is proposed to research for security enhancement through analyzing previous reference models. In the vehicular environment, vehicles self-configure the cluster based network for communication between vehicles. Because of the unique characteristics of the vehicle environment such as high mobility and changeable topology, applying the appropriate clustering scheme is very important for maintaining consistent network topology. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel clustering scheme considering neighbor vehicles' mobility. The proposed scheme elects a cluster head which has the lowest \"neighbor vehicles mobility\" value to provide reliable network topology. One of the predominant factors is shortage of spectrum. Hence, the need of efficient management of spectrum in vehicular communication is important. Consequently, the role of cognitive radio (CR) in a vehicular network is essential. In order to exhibit the importance of spectral efficiency, an architecture has been proposed for vehicular communication in CR. The proposed architecture is to minimize both the spectrum inefficiency and spectrum scarcity issues. In addition, multi server queuing model is designed for CR vehicular network. Mobile devices have become very popular in a relatively short time. Their popularity is mainly due to the portability and until very recently their ease-of-interaction through the touch-enabled screen when compared to older devices. Their portability comes with a trade-off: the small screen through which users can interact with their content. The small size screen can limit significantly the amount of content they can interact with, and also the manner in which this interaction is carried out. In this research, we explore the ways of extending the interaction space of these devices. We assess if, how well, and what mechanisms are possible for enabling users to interact with content located off the screen. It is a content-centric network. The content is routed based on its unique name, not IP address in NDN. A NDN node broadcasts an interest packet with the requesting named content to NDN. A NDN node has the requested named content. It will encapsulate requested content into data packets and deliver them back to the requesting NDN node. If intermediate nodes are located on the routing path of requesting/replying named content. They will also cache the named content for serving the next same requesting from different NDN nodes. However, multimedia content usually are used the streaming fashion to deliver over the Internet. It is an important issue to design a proper caching mechanism of named multimedia to satisfy the features of multimedia streaming. In this paper, we proposed a partial caching mechanism to temporally cache the named streaming content on the intermediate nodes in NDN. We hypothesis that hand movement with VR simulated scene is similar to actual activity. Nine subjects participated in the study with brain wave monitoring, they used force feedback device to virtual ball catching. We found the brain wave patterns are similar to prior hand movement study, but pattern in the force feedback had longer latency than none force feedback. The results supported virtual reality paradigm can be the part of activity in the real world. We conclude that, movement in the virtual environment and real world had slight difference. IoT consists of communications and sensors to accomplish purpose. In the diverse kinds of networks, wireless body area network (WBAN) is a highly suitable communication tool for the medical IoT devices. There are many researches about WBAN and sensor network, which are mainly focused on energy efficiency. However, in this paper, we discuss more practical issues for implementation of WBAN to healthcare service. Therefore, we propose a multi-hop WBAN construction scheme that is consists of 4 operations, the clustered topology setup, mobility support, and transmission efficiency enhancement. As an auxiliary benefit, the proposed scheme achieves an energy efficient feature by reducing the number of total control messages. To acquire high-level contexts, such as human activities, usually involves analyzing and identifying causality and temporal ordering relationships among a bulk stream of sensor readings. However, there are relatively few works investigating this issue. We notice that Complex Event Processing (CEP) is useful for dealing with the issue mentioned above. In this work, we propose a platform for integrating CEP concepts with Per SAM, a service application model for pervasive environments.
