Purpose of the system is to determine (predict) the location of flame front with given error based on the data on flame front speed with the goal of timely activation of the explosion suppression devices. The tasks of determining of the control point’s optimal number and their spatial location are related. Initially, the distance between the control points (flame detectors) is determined to ensure the best parameters of the EOS operation. In turn, the optimal number of control points is determined by ratio of the protected object total length to the optimal distance between the flame detectors. The optimality criteria are formulated for two approaches for predicting of the flame front location: by signals from one flame sensor for speeds no more than 30 m/s; by signals from two flame sensors for speeds above 30 m/s. Appropriate research methods are developed for the proposed options. The studies were carried out on the basis of non-stationary combustion computer simulation for hydrocarbon-air mixtures in conditions typical for coal mines. The optimal distance between photo detectors in the flame detector is 0.05 m. However, the required error values for calculating of the flame front position (no more than 15%) are achieved for flame front speed of no more than 30 m/s using a single flame detector. The optimal distance between the flame detectors is 1.75 m at flame front speed of more than 30 m/s. In this case, the minimum relative error in predicting of the flame front location does not exceed 7.1%.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128590647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evaluating methodology was demonstrated with simple tool set. Families of output and input I-V characteristics in common emitter mode were measured at room and liquid nitrogen temperatures. Some cryogenic effects were observed and discussed, namely: 1) increasing of turn-on voltage due to freezing of major carriers in emitter with cooling, 2) enhancement of current gain due to bandgap difference of Si emitter and SiGe base even at LNT, 3) reducing of breakdown voltage due to more pronounced avalanche multiplication, 4) early voltage decreasing because of neutral base recombination, 5) improvement of power dissipation and reducing of self-heating effect. Despite of these effects, SiGe HBTs save their robust operation at cryogenic temperatures that confirms the capability of used IC technology process for LNT applications.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126022524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis for forecasting and recognition of situations in the coal mine is carried out. Two approaches on forecasting of situations – autoregression and neural networks are analyzed. The advantages of neural networks to forecasting of situations were determined. Two approaches on recognition of situations: on dynamics of change concentration of one gas and on ratios of the several gases concentration are analyzed. Classification of situations in the coal mine is formulated. Admissible concentration was define for methane – up to 2%, carbon oxide – up to 0.0017%, carbon dioxide – 1%, coal dust of 150 mg/m3. The limiting concentrations for situations in coal mine are calculated. It is proposed to use MatLab for modeling neural network. Approach to creation of neural network algorithm for forecasting situation in coal mine is proposed.
