Penyebarannya hampir di seluruh kawasan pesisir Indonesia, yang memiliki ekosistem mangrove termasuk di perairan Kendal. Banyaknya penangkapan kepiting bakau tanpa memperhatikan ukuran yang layak tangkap. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh beberapa aspek reproduksi kepiting bakau Scylla sp. di perairan Kendal, Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada bulan Februari–Maret 2017, dua minggu sekali selama dua bulan di perairan Kendal, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan parameter pendukung seperti suhu, salinitas, pH, dan DO. Materi yang digunakan adalah kepiting bakau Scylla sp. Analisis yang digunakan untuk menghitung perbandingan jumlah kepiting bakau jantan dan betina adalah uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi ukuran kepiting bakau mempunyai lebar karapas 81-130 mm, berat 100-350 gram dengan ukuran rata-rata yang tertangkap 99,62 mm, perbandingan jantan dan betinanya 1:2,09. Hubungan lebar karapas dengan berat menunjukkan sifat allometrik positif. Faktor kondisi yang didapatkan adalah 1,0185. Tingkat kematangan gonad kepiting bakau di dominasi oleh TKG II, nilai indeks kematangan gonad pada kepiting bakau betina berkisar antara 6,84% - 18,49%. Tingkat kematangan gonad yang di dominasi oleh TKG II dikarenakan di lokasi penelitian tidak sedang masa pemijahan. \u0000  \u0000Mangrove crab (Scylla sp.) is one of the marine biota that it has value economically important. It spreads in almost all over coastal areas of Indonesia, which has the mangrove ecosystem. Mangrove crab has a high nutritional value. Thus, encouraging people in Kendal to consume a large amount of mangrove crab and reach the local market demand.This led to the occurrence of a lot of mangrove crab catching regardless of the size of the catch.Therefore, this study was conducted to obtain some of reproduction aspects of Scylla sp. in the Kendal waters, Central Java. Sampling was conducted in February-March 2017,every two weeks in two months in Kendal waters, Central Java. The method used in this research was descriptive explorative method with supporting parameters such as temperature, salinity, pH, and DO. The used material was mangrove crab (Scylla sp.). Chi square test was used to analyze and calculate the ratio of male and female mangrove crabs. The results showed that the size composition of mangrove crab had a carbide width of 71-130 mm, weight of 100-350 grams, with average size captured was 99.62 mm, male and female ratio of 1: 2.09. The Relations between width and weight of caparace indicated negative allometric properties. The obtained condition factor was 1.0184767. Maturity level of mangrove crab gonad was dominated by TKG II, gonad index maturity value on female mangrove crab ranged between 6.84% - 18.49%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis vegetasi dan pemanfaatan mangrove oleh masyarakat di Solok Buntu. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Desember 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek kuadrat dimana ukuran plot pohon 10 x 10 meter, anakan 5 x 5 meter dan semai 2 x 2 meter. pengambilan data vegetasi mangrove dibagi menjadi dua  cara yaitu transek tegak lurus sungai dan transek sejajar sungai. Hasil yang diperoleh ditemukan 7 jenis mangrove yaitu Avicennia marina, Avicennia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Excoecaria agallocha, Xylocarpus granatum dan Nypa fruticans. Vegetasi mangrove yang terdapat disepanjang Sungai Solok Buntu Taman Nasional Sembilang yaitu Rhizophora apiculata dengan INP tertinggi sebesar 182,98% pada tingkat pohon sedangkan pada tingkat anakan Rhizophora apiculata dan Excoecaria agallocha memiliki INP tertinggi sebesar 300% dan pada tingkat semai Rhizophora apiculata memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar 200%. Pemanfaatan mangrove oleh masyarakat di Solok Buntu banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat mencari ikan, udang, kepiting. Jenis mangrove yang banyak dimanfaatkan adalah Avicennia sp karena jenis ini banyak tumbuh disekitar tempat tinggal masyarakat sehingga mudah untuk diambil. \u0000  \u0000Analysis Of Mangrove Vegetation And Utilization By Communities In Solok Buntu National Park, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera Province \u0000  \u0000The mangrove forests in Solok Buntu Sembilang National Park have suffered damage as a result of human activities such as deforestation for aquacultur, firewood and horsing construction. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mangrove vegetation in Solok Buntu and its utilization. The experiment was conducted in December 2015. The method used is the square of the transect method in which a plot size of 10 x 10 meter tree, 5 x 5 meter saplings and seedlings, 2 x 2 meters. Mangrove vegetation data collection is divided into two ways ie perpendicular transects and river transects parallel to the river. There are 7 mangrove species Avicennia marina, Avicennia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Excoecaria agallocha, Xylocarpus granatum and Nypa fruticans found in the location. Mangrove vegetation found along the Sungai Solok Buntu Sembilang National Park is Rhizophora apiculata with the highest INP at  tree level  is 182.98%, while at the seedling level Rhizophora apiculata and Excoecaria agallocha has the highest INP 300% and for seedlings of Rhizophora apiculata had the highest value 200%. Utilization of mangrove communities in Solok Buntu used by the public to catch fishes, shrimps, and crabs. Pemetaan ekosistem di pulau kecil dilakukan dengan bantuan citra Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS). Penelitian terdahulu diketahui bahwa ALOS memiliki kemampuan memetakan terumbu karang dan padang lamun di perairan dangkal serta mampu memetakan kerapatan penutupan vegetasi. Metode interpretasi citra menggunakan alogaritma indeks vegetasi pada citra ALOS yaitu NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), serta pendekatan Lyzengga untuk mengkoreksi kolom perairan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan luasan Padang Lamun di perairan dangkal 41,99 Ha, luasan Terumbu Karang 125,57 Ha. Hasil NDVI di daratan/ pulau kecil Gelasa untuk Vegetasi Rapat seluas 47,62 Ha; luasan penutupan Vegetasi Sedang 105,86 Ha; dan penutupan Vegetasi Jarang adalah 34,24 Ha. \u0000  \u0000Small Island Gelasa rarely studied. Mapping ecosystems on small islands with the image of Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS). Previous research has found that ALOS has the ability to map coral reefs and seagrass beds in shallow water, and is able to map vegetation cover density. The method of image interpretation uses the vegetation index algorithm in the ALOS image, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), and the Lyzengga approach to correct the water column. The results of the study were obtained in the area of Seagrass Padang in the shallow waters of 41.99 ha, the area of coral reefs was 125.57 ha. There is a tin mining activities and farms in the region that directly or indirectly provide significant pressure on water quality in the region. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the quality of coastal waters Bedukang and assess the degree of pollution in coastal waters Bedukang using Pollution Index (IP). Methods of data collection was done at 4 stations by purposive sampling. Insitu measurement parameters are parameters of temperature, pH, and salinity and measurement parameters are parameters exsitu TSS, TDS, BOD, Metals Pb and Total Coliform. Analysis of water quality data using Pollution Index (IP). The results show the value of IP, namely at the first station, the station 3 and the station 4, including lightly polluted category with the value of each value of 2.819, 1.025 and 1.022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi alat tangkap yang ramah lingkungan serta menganalisis dan memilih unit usaha perikanan tangkap berdasarkan aspek biologi, teknis, ekonomi, sosial budaya dan keramahan lingkungan di Muara Sungai Lumpur Kabupaten OKI. Penelitian tentang pemilihan unit usaha perikanan tangkap ramah lingkungan di Muara Sungai Lumpur Kabupaten OKI telah dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2014. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dua arah terstruktur menggunakan teknik wawancara in dept interview dengan person key. Jumlah keseluruhan sampel 42 responden yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan Nomogram Harry King dengan tingkat kesalahan 10 %. Analisis Determinasi unit usaha dilakukan dengan metode skoring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga jenis alat tangkap yang dioperasikan di Muara Sungai Lumpur, alat tangkap jenis jaring millenium (drift gillnet) memiliki tingkat keramahan lingkungan dan selektivitas alat yang tinggi dengan nilai skor 19,08 sesuai dengan kriteria CCRF serta memiliki nilai unggul dari kelima aspek dibandingkan jenis jaring insang hanyut dan trammel net sehingga unit usaha perikanan tangkap dengan menggunakan alat tangkap jaring millenium layak untuk dikembangkan di Muara Sungai Lumpur Kabupaten OKI. \u0000  \u0000The use of appropriate fishing gear is assumed to minimize damage to the aquatic ecosystem so as to fishing industry activities can continue. The aims of the research were to identify environmentally confidant fishing gear and to select a fishing industry activities unit based on biological aspects, technical, economic, social, cultural and environmental confidant in Lumpur Estuary OKI regency. This research was conducted November 2014. Sampling were done by the method of two ways in structure interview using in dept interviews technique with key person. The total number of samples 42 respondents were determined using the nomogram Harry King with an error rate of 10%. Determination Analysis industry actvities unit by the scoring method. Aktivitas masyarat di sekitar sungai Kendal akan mempengaruhi kondisi perairan di muara sungai Kendal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebaran konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat anorganik secara horizontal di permukaan perairan muara sungai Kendal. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 12 stasiun menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan dapat mewakili wilayah muara sungai, dekat pantai, wilayah transisi dan laut. Data utama meliputi konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat. Data pendukung meliputi suhu, salinitas, DO, pH dan kecerahan yang diukur secara langsung di lapangan, serta data yang diperoleh dari berbagai instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat semakin menurun menuju laut. Konsentrasi nitrat berkisar 2,1172 – 3,2459 µmol/l dan konsentrasi fosfat berkisar 0,1699 – 1,0437 µmol/l. Pola sebaran konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat tidak mengikuti pola arus. \u0000  \u0000The estuary of Kendal is widely used for various activities such as residential, industrial, fishpond and fish auction places. Activity around the Kendal river will affect the conditions at the estuary of Kendal. This research was conducted in November 2017. The purpose of this research was to know the distribution of nitrate and inorganic phosphate concentration horizontally at surface of estuary Kendal. Sampling was conducted on 12 stations used purposive sampling method with consideration to represent the estuary, near shore, transition area and the sea. The Primary data included nitrate and phosphate concentrations. Supporting data included temperature, salinity, DO, pH and brightness measured directly in the field, as well as data obtained from various related agencies. The results showed that the concentration of nitrate and phosphate decreased toward the sea. Nitrate concentrations ranged from 2.1172 – 3.2459 µmol/l and phosphate concentrations ranged from 0.1699 – 1.0437 µmol/l. Uji larva nyamuk dengan memasukkan masing-masing 10 ekor larva nyamuk yang dimasukkan ke dalam 7 botol cup tranparan kecil,  masing– masing untuk 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000 ppm sampel ektrak,  kontrol negative dan  kontrol positive. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pengaruh  tingkat mortalitas larva nyamuk terhadap ekstrak buah mangrove Xylocarpus granatum pada jam 1 memperlihatkan bahwa pada konsentrasi 1000 ppm, persentasi mortalitas nyamuk tertinggi adalah 81,34 %, dan pada konstrasi ekstrak buah mangrove Xylocarpus granatum 100 ppm terendah  mortalitasnya =  68,8%. Perlakuan pada jam 3 memperlihatkan bahwa pada konsentrasi ekstrak buah mangrove 500 ppm tingkat mortalitas larva nyamuk tertinggi (80%).  Pada konsentrasi ekstrasi buah mangrove 250 ppm, mortalitasnya 66,70% dan konsentrasi ekstral buah mangrove pada 100 ppm, mortalitasnya adalah 40%. Hasil peneltian pada jam ke 24 memperlihatkan bahwa pada konsentrasi ekstrak buah mangrove mencapai 1000 pmm, mortalitasnya 100%, pengamatan jam ke 48  mortalitasnya  100%. Sedang pada perlakuan control positif, keluulushidupan larva nyamuk adalah 0% dan pada control negative, kelulushidupan larva nyamuk adalah 100%. Kesimpulan:  bahwa ekstrak buah mangrove Xylocarpus granatum berpotensi sebagai anti larva nyamuk pada konsentrasi 1000 ppm. \u0000  \u0000ABSTRACT \u0000  \u0000It was assumed that mangrove fruits has some insecticidal biosubstances. Aim of the research is the potentials of mangrove Xylocarpus granatum fruit extract as the anti mosquito (Aedes aegypti) repellent. Experiment using of 10 mosquito larvae in 7 bottles each filled with 50; 100; 250; 500 and 1000 ppm fruit extract, negative  and positive control.  The experiment reveals that after 1 hour treatment, the 1000 ppm exctract had the hihgest mosquito larvae mortality of 81.34%, while the lowest extract of 100 ppm had 68.8% mortality.  After 3 hours of extract treatment the 500 ppm had the hihgest mortality of 80%, 250 ppm with 66.70% and 100 ppm with 40 % mortality.  Result of experiment after 24 as well as  48 hours treatment the 1000 ppm extract had 100% mortality.  In the positive control had 0% mortality and the negative control had 100% of survival. Rumput laut Gracilaria sp. merupakan salah satu sumber daya laut yang mudah dibudidayakan, mempunyai nilai ekomonis penting dan mempunyai prospek pasar yang cerah, baik di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Usaha budidaya rumput laut Gracilaria sp. perlu dilakukan guna meningkatkan produksinya. Rumput laut Gracilaria sp. memerlukan N dan P sebagai unsur hara makro yang digunakan untuk pertumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan rasio N:P yang berbeda terhadap laju pertumbuhan Gracilaria sp. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 perlakuan dan 1 kontrol, yang masing-masing ada 3 ulangan. Media pemeliharaan menggunakan air laut yang ditambah N:P dengan rasio yang berbeda, yaitu : A (Kontrol), B (6:1), C (6:2), D (6:3). Pencapaian berat rerata Gracilaria sp. selama 28 hari adalah sebagai berikut : A = 102,06 ± 0,04 g; B = 103,41 ± 0,57 g; C = 106,53 ± 0,66 g dan D = 108,28 ± 1,25 g. Pertumbuhan mutlak Gracilaria sp. yang dihasilkan selama penelitian adalah sebagai berikut : A = 2,06 ± 0,04 g;B = 3,41 ± 0,57 g; C = 6,53 ± 0,66 g; D = 8,28 ± 1,25 g. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik Gracilaria sp. yang dihasilkan selama penelitian, yaitu : A sebesar 0,07 ± 0,00 % berat (g) per hari; B sebesar 0,12 ± 0,02 % berat (g) per hari; C sebesar 0,23 ± 0,02 % berat (g) per hari dan D sebesar 0,28 ± 0,04 % berat (g) per hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan N:P dengan rasio yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik Gracilaria sp. (p < 0,01). Semakin tinggi konsentrasi rasio N:P dapat meningkatkan total biomassa dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik. \u0000  \u0000Seaweed is a plant which can not be distinguished between true roots, stalks and leaves, therefore its entire body is called a thallus. Gracilaria sp. is a seaweed which is relatively easy to cultivate, has high economical value and bright marketing prospect either in domestic or foreign markets. The effort to cultivate Gracilaria sp. needs to be done in order to increase the production. Seaweed Gracilaria sp. needs N and P as important macronutrients for its growth. This research aims to discover the effect of adding different N:P ratio towards Gracilaria sp. growth rate. The method used in this research was an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design. This research used three treatments and one control, each with three repetitions. The cultivation media was seawater with the addition of different N:P ratios, which were: A (Control), B (6:1), C (6:2) and D (6:3). The average weight of Gracilaria sp. for 28 days were as follows: A = 102,06 ± 0,04 g; B = 103,41 ± 0,57 g; C = 106,53 ± 0,66 g and D = 108,28 ± 1,25 g. Aktivitas-aktivitas di Teluk Lampung yang berpotensi menurunkan kualitas perairan adalah Pelabuhan Panjang, industri serta banyaknya pemukiman penduduk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kandungan Cu dan Pb pada air dan sedimen serta menganalisis enrichment factor tembaga (Cu) dan timbal (Pb) pada sedimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April – Mei 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan analisis logam berat menggunakan SSA AA- 7000. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi logam berat Cu (ttd-0,008 mg/l) dalam air masih memenuhi standar baku mutu (< 0,008 mg/l) dan logam berat Pb (ttd-0,23 mg/l) secara umum telah melewati standar baku mutu (<0,008 mg/l). Berdasarkan kriteria baku mutu US-EPA, konsentrasi logam berat Cu dan Pb dalam sedimen masih memenuhi standar (Cu 49,98 mg/kg dan Pb 47,82 mg/kg). Berdasarkan kriteria baku mutu SEPA, secara umum untuk konsentrasi logam berat Cu (1,02 – 38,75 mg/kg) telah melewati baku mutu (15 mg/kg) dan untuk logam berat Pb (15,41- 32,66 mg/kg) masih memenuhi standar baku mutu (25 mg/kg). Nilai enrichment factor Pb dan Cu pada perairan kawasan industri Teluk Lampung  sumber berasal dari proses alam (kategori pengayaan minimal – cukup). \u0000  \u0000Kata kunci :  baku mutu, enrichment factor, pengkayaan \u0000  \u0000  \u0000Concentration Of Heavy Metal Cu (Copper) And Pb (Lead) In Water And Sediments In The Industrial Area Of Lampung Bay, Lampung Province \u0000Heavy metals in the waters needed by the organism in every metabolic processes, but if excessive it could be toxic. Cu is an essential metal while Pb is non-essential metal. Panjang Port, industries, and urbanization are some activities in Lampung Bay that potentially degraded the quality of the waters. The purpose of this research were to analyze the concentration of Cu and Pb in the waters and sediments and to determine the enrichment factors of Cu and Pb in the sediments.This research was conducted at April-May 2016. The method of this research was purposive sampling and heavy metals analyzed by using AAS AA-7000. The results showed that concentration of Cu (no detected-0,008 mg/l) in the waters was below the quality standard (< 0,008 mg/l) while Pb (no detected-0,23 mg/l) in the waters generally exceed the quality standard (<0,008 mg/l). Based on US-EPA quality standard, the concentration of Cu and Pb in sediments were below the quality standard (Cu 49,98 mg/kg and Pb 47,82 mg/kg) while based in a quality standard using SEPA, the concentration of Cu (1,02 – 38,75 mg/kg) in sediments generally were exceed (15 mg/kg) and Pb (15,41- 32,66 mg/kg) in sediments generally still below the quality standard (25 mg/kg).
