We are proposing a method that can be combined with Apriori algorithm and reduces storage required to store candidate and the execution time by reducing CPU time. CPU time is saved by reducing candidate sets size and time required to calculate the support of each candidate. We are introducing the concept of checkpoint based on support value to reduce the execution time and overall storage space required to store candidate generated during scanning of dataset.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125826313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recommending the pertinent Web Service and avoiding unwarranted service are the two main issues to be addressed in Web Service selection process. The limitation of present keyword based searching is that it doesn't articulate the client request accurately. UDDI and search engines are based on keyword search, which is insufficient for providing the relevant service. So the search mechanism must be incorporated with the QoS based selection process. In this paper, QoS Consultant acts as a Mediator Agentbetween client and service provider. Whenever a search is performed for query, the mediator agent selects a list of candidate services that are matched with the given request, will be provided to the client for setting required QoS attributes. The highest RankQOSWeb Service will be provided to the client request. The model helps to search accurate Web Service as per user's requirement.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125879588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So as the need for knowledge is trending, importance of knowledgebase is also growing. To create new knowledgebase, it is necessary that previous data should also be retained. Therefore transformation of a Database into a Knowledgebase is of equal importance, as a database or a knowledgebase have. Also it should be transformed in an effective manner, so that information content from database should not be lost. Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is the prominent cause of blindness in the world. Early detection of diabetic retinopathy can provide operative treatment. Early treatment can be conducted from detection of microaneurysms. Microaneurysms are the earliest clinical sign of diabetic retinopathy and they appear as small red spots on retinal fundus images. Microaneurysms are reddish in color with a diameter less than 125 μm. The existing trained eye care specialists are not able to screen the growing number of diabetic patients. So there is a need to develop a technique that is capable to detect microaneurysms as a part of diagnosis system, so that medical professionals are able to diagnose the stage of the disease with ease. Automated microaneurysm detection can decrease the workload of ophthalmologists and cost in DR screening system. Early automated microaneurysms detection can help in reducing the incidence of blindness. In this paper, we review and analyze the techniques, algorithms and methodologies used for the detection of microaneurysms from diabetic retinopathy retinal fundus images.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134288248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different strategies have been reported in the literature to discover and allocate resources that are suitable for jobs to achieve performance up to users' satisfaction at competitive price. The related resource sharing becomes complex when job and data are partitioned for parallel execution. A simple resource index based allocation algorithm is proposed for such jobs in this paper. The technique is analytically examined and implemented in C to obtain results under various environment conditions.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133040810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various routing protocols have been proposed to make efficient data transfer among different mobile appliances in ad-hoc network environment. These protocols are proactive, reactive, hybrid etc. This paper is mainly deal with AODV which is a reactive routing protocol. As, during the last few years mostly routing protocols of ad-hoc networks were simulated as a function of mobility, number of nodes, and size of the network but not as a function of route maintenance parameters; such as active route timeout (ART) and delete period. So, main aim of this paper is simulating and analyzing the proposed routing protocol near its default values of route maintenance parameters with IEEE 802.11/b MAC protocol in random way point model for a fixed number of nodes using NS-3 in constant scenario. Results have been analyzed based on packet delivery ratio and net throughput for different values of ART and delete period constant in tabular form and graphical manner. Paper conclude that best performance is delivered by AODV protocol at ART=2.5 and delete period constant=5.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126168242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the web services and a service-oriented style of architecture becomes the basis for a new generation of distributed applications and system management tools. Web Services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) play a significant role as a middleware for software interoperability. These technologies deploy practice for ebusiness or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). With the success of such deployments, Quality of Service (QoS) properties such as response time, availability and service costs are in high demands for SOA-based interoperability. A service composition in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment is developed dynamically by integrating services from various service providers. There may be situations where services become faulty, resulting in violation of end to end Quality of Service (QoS) constraints. This paper proposes an approach to overcome this problem of faulty service reconfiguration. The work focuses on identifying the faulty services and their replacement on the basis of QoS constraints. In spite of modifying the whole composition, reconfiguration to the faulty region shall reduce the overheads of computations and service distractions in service delivery. The proposed approach presented in this paper is compared with various other prevalent service composition strategies.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126638362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The accuracy of the license plate recognition system depends on the performance of the localization algorithm. It is a computationally intensive process which takes a lot of time to localize the license plate. In our research paper we will discuss different types of localization algorithms and which of them should be used for a particular application. Different countries have their own types of license plates for instance some use single line horizontal license plates while others use multi line non horizontal and differently located number plates. Some of the widely used localizations algorithms which are used in the neural network recognizer are global threshold scheme, NiBlack's threshold.","PeriodicalId":216110,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131499231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
