Serious tourism games offer the benefit of strong customer engagement (CE), which is highly valuable to tourism destinations as brands. While principles of effective games for tourism have been studied, how to design the games to exhibit such principles has not. This paper, therefore, presents a preliminary study on the topic. To gain insights on the topic, we applied game analytics in a case study of a serious tourism game promoting Pujon Kidul, a tourism village in Indonesia. We analyzed one continuous metric and four discrete metrics of the players’ exploration behaviors and visualized them by a heatmap and a directed graph. From the results, we discuss six problems of gameplay and design and propose four design principles, which shed light on how to design a serious tourism game for optimum CE.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125516964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is due to the extraordinary current growth of data that must be accompanied by a variety of qualified data storage and processing techniques to overcome the5 V’s challenge of big data. This research is aimed to conduct a performance analysis of big data processing. The sales data will be processed in a parallel scheme on the cloud server and then managed using Hadoop and hive. The research shows that the more VMs used, the lower processing time needed, but this is inversely proportional to the CPU time required. Whereas, from the side of block size testing the research result shows that the decrease in the time of query execution is very visible by the change in the use of block size from 2MB to 4MB and 8MB, but the change in the blocksize size from 4MB to 8MB does not significantly affect the speed of query execution.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116526549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The company needs a system that can increase employee performance for evaluation material. This need is supported by conditions where the employees send reports they do on that day. It will make a problem if more employees or projects are being managed. From the literature study, the project management apps like Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera, and Trello cannot support the teaching process of project management course at most US universities and then decided to make internal software. The company’s R&D (Research and Development) team is conducting technology research to build applications that can run on multiple platforms with one coding process. Based on research results, Quasar Framework is a solution at this time. This framework can make a great view in minutes. After the system is created, the system is tested using black-box testing. 5 respondents from the Unicode Indonesia Company via Google Form. The test results show that the system is feasible to use. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the project management information system can help the company meet its needs.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"349 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123232325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to produce maximum technical glucose and bioethanol with optimization in hydrolysis and fermentation processes using Minitab software with Surface Response. Before the hydrolysis process, tapioca flour’s liquid waste underwent a pretreatment and filtration process to remove impurities. The hydrolysis process chemically uses solid NaOH with liquid waste tapioca flour as 5 liters and hydrolysis temperature ± 40°C. Variables in the form of solid NaOH 1 to 5 mg, and stirring time 15 to 60 minutes using digital magnetic stirrer type MS-20D. The fermentation process uses a volume of glucose filtrate 500 ml, fermentation temperature ± 30°C, and fermentation pH ±4.5, variable levels of turbo yeast 7 to 15 (% w/v) and fermentation time of 3 and 7 (days). The maximum levels obtained for glucose are 18%, and technical bioethanol is 21.9 %v/v, with the Response Surface method showing similarities to the second-order polynomial model.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130229697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, many of the officers have stated that their recruits often make mistakes during the process of inputting data along, added with the long manual validation process. The available digital reporting application called Sistem Informasi Keluarga (SIGA) is also not used at its maximum capability, causing the decrease of data validity collected through the process. Using business process improvement (BPI), valueadded analysis, and gap analysis are performed to find the issues in the system that will become the base of the reporting system redesign. This research was done to provide a proper business process design that is needed to ensure maximum comprehension and reduction of data invalidity with the help of the existing application. The result of this research shows that the new business process design required the digitalization of the data input process using an information system and the reduction of the use of offline forms to increase the validity of data in the reporting system.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131837565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Asset Procurement and Management Services Surabaya is one of the organizations tasked with providing asset procurement and management services. The organization has three warehouses located in a city with a considerable distance, and only the central warehouse has an internet network. Implementation of point-to-multipoint network sharing of internet networks from the central warehouse to other warehouses. This study aims to implement a point-to-multipoint based on MikroTik Router to connect internet networks centrally to the three warehouses and manage bandwidth and restrict website access. The point-to-multipoint network is a wireless internet network from one radio access point connected to several radio stations located in several locations that are quite far away, and it is not possible to pass through a network cable. The research method uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) with analysis, design, simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. The point-to-multipoint network implementation results provide network access control and bandwidth management for convenience in controlling the network and sharing resources, data, and information. The content of the calorific value of bioethanol is very low when compared to gasoline, so in its application to internal combustion motors, namely the time required for bioethanol fuel injection must be made longer, by reducing the amount of air naturally resulting in the mixture becoming rich. The electric supercharger functions as an addition to combustion air so that the mixture becomes ideal for combustion. Tests carried out on a K15 engine with a compression ratio of 12.5. Variation of electric supercharger voltage changes from 6 to 12 volts in 2 volt increments at engine speed 2000 to 8000 rotations per minute with an interval of 1000 rotations per minute. Experimental results of air addition effect on exhaust gas K15 engine using bioethanol fuel, get the value of CO, CO2 and HC emissions respectively by 3.96%, 7.26% and 21.36%.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115791377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditional opinion data mining is often done to get conclusions about how influential an event or product is on society. In the current microblogging era, individual views of events and products can often be found in posts, such as Twitter. Based on the Twitter users’ habits, opinion data can be collected young using the crawling process of events or products. In the event of a pandemic, the use of e-money has increased quite drastically. The use of e-money simplifies the transaction process because everything can be processed only through a smart device. However, the increasing number of e-money users, especially during a pandemic, may not be in line with the increasing positive opinion of e-money. However, some may use e-money only out of necessity. We present classification performance results for the C4.5 decision tree and Naive Bayes classifiers. Lastly, we compare each classifier’s output using the voting-by-majority method to final predict positive or negative opinions about e-money in Indonesia. One of the most critical aspects of such smart infrastructure support systems is how to recognize a vehicle. There are two main problems in vehicle license detection: the plates and how big they are. Usually, the candidate character’s position on the plate is first identified, and the square area of the plate is determined later. According to the research, it is well known that Maximally Stable Extremal Regions (MSER) feature detector can find the text area well, and Speed-Up Robust Features (SURF) and neural networks are highly capable of character recognition. This paper combines a region-based detection algorithm and a point-based algorithm at the feature extraction stage to detect vehicle number plates’ location. Based on experimental results, combining MSER and SURF methods could detect vehicle number plates’ location well. The results show that the proposed method has achieved 97.63% accuracy, 69.17 precision, and a recall value of 66.14 with an average computation time of 32.92 seconds.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"22 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129762898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Emoji and emoticon can help them for conveying their message efficiently. It is used for expressing their sentiment about a certain topic. For analyzing sentiment with classification technique, the use of emoji and emoticon might take into consideration. In this paper, we knew that Indonesian Twitter’s User not only uses emoji in their tweets but also emoticon although emoji used is dominating tweets than emoticon. In some cases, both of them are used simultaneously in a tweet. Emoji and emoticon affect classification model performance positively so that emoji and emoticon might not remove in-text pre-processed and include in classification features. For included in classification feature emoji and emoticon convert into its Unicode Name, but this conversion slightly below classification model from conversion emoji and emoticon into its lexicon sentiment. Conversion emoji and emoticon into its lexicon sentiment make classification model performance more stable. But considering emoticon and emoji cannot simply be interpreted into certain sentiment class so conversion into Unicode Name is encouraging. SVM produces the best performance followed by Bernoulli Naïve Bayes and the last one is Multinomial Naïve Bayes.","PeriodicalId":215789,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS)","volume":"51 Suppl 53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126901638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
