In particular, this study focused on Jeonju's ‘Hagindang’, and derived the value of the Pansori Eco Museum as a way to revitalize the Pansori local culture in Jeonju, and the results of the study are as follows. First, ‘Hagindang’ is an old house of more than 100 years and a historical space as the first Pansori performance hall. Second, it is a town with the reputation of traditional music called “Jeonju Daesaseup”. Third, it includes “museum activities” in which both local residents and tourists participate. Fourth, if the infrastructure of Jeonju Hanok Village, the home of traditional culture and sound, is utilized, it has a utility value as a sustainable cultural salon space. Fifth, in order for Hakdang to function as an eco-music museum, the participation and service of the region and residents are important. Through this study, it is hoped that research on eco-museums related to more diverse Korean traditional music spaces will be conducted.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"606 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139202923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The samples include 438 students from A university, and the independent sample t-test was conducted after propensity score matching. As a result of the study, the students who participated in autonomy activities had a higher level of self-leadership awareness compared to the students who did not participate. This means that the autonomy activity program provides an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills, and to develop the ability to set and lead one's own goals. Based on the results, the importance of student autonomy activity programs was confirmed from an educational point of view, and implications for program planning and operation as educational activities were suggested.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"45 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139203055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The evolution of these spaces, along with political and economic shifts, was categorized into; 1) the Japanese colonial era; 2) the US military regime and after; 3) the expansion of Geumnam-ro in the late 1960s, and 4) the 1970s. The research was based on literature and newspaper articles, and departed from existing studies that focused on physical changes in the city or the historical significance of a space, approaching them from a multifaceted perspective. The findings revealed that cultural and artistic spaces underwent dynamic changes amidst the rapid transformation of the cityscape: 1) Heunghakgwan, theaters, the Gwangju Theater, dabangs, and schools, 2) the Gwangju USIS, 3) media offices and key spaces in Geumnam-ro, and 4) the dabangs, the Student Hall, the Civic Hall, and art museums. The analysis shows how these spaces served various cultural purposes, offering a nuanced historical map of cultural and artistic spaces.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"1212 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139203863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We explore avenues for enhancement, emphasizing a universal approach for overall quality management. The research includes a detailed examination of a 4-year university's CTL instructional consulting program. First, in our survey of university instructional consulting programs, we found that every university operates a similar program. Secondly, we found shortcomings in domestic university instructional consulting programs, including insufficient support for self-instructional and lesson plan consulting, as well as distinct variations in content for target-specific consulting and a lack of systematic management. Thirdly, for effective instructional consulting program operation, we suggest three tasks: streamline program designs, offer personalized promotional services for professors, and establish/utilize a robust consulting system.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"246 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139205029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rachel Carson uses scientific evidence to persuade her readers and a variety of literary techniques to engage them. Carson masterfully intertwines scientific truths with her literary and poetic sensibilities, underscored by a profound ecological consciousness. By analyzing the criticisms of “Silent Spring” that appear in “Silent Spring at 50,” this paper seeks to more objectively evaluate Carson's arguments and explore the way forward for the genre of science nonfiction literature. The analysis reveals that some criticisms of Carson may be ascribed to the limitations of her era, while some other critiques appear unjust, given that Carson's focus diverged from that of her critics. Still other criticisms are unfairly directed at Carson. The paper suggests that Carson's work could have better exemplified scientific discourse by embracing the possibility of error and avoiding overly simplistic binary logic. By employing Carson as a reflective model, future generations can improve their ability to merge science and literature.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"92 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139206586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fact that low-income people have a high participation rate in cultural volunteering and clubs, showing their will and passion for culture and arts means that nostalgia for culture and arts is universal regardless of income. The welfare role of culture includes helping vulnerable group reflect on their lives, provide emotional comfort, discover hidden creativity, raise their intellectual level, and strengthen their sense of community integration. In this regard, this study is significant in that it has made it possible to supplement the weakening of welfare in cultural welfare and to rethink the quality of life based on the results of the 2022 Survey that expanded the cultural entertainment rate by income level.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An example the Virgin Mary appear as a subject in art. There are four Marian dogmas of the Catholic Church. The Immaculate Conception is one of the four Marian dogmas. It was defined as a dogma until 1854 by Pope Pius IX in the papal bull “Ineffabilis Deus”. According to the dogma, the Immaculate Conception is the belief that the Virgin Mary was free of original sin from the moment of her conception. However, Church Fathers and theologians continued to dispute with the dogma of the Immaculate Conception until the 19th century. In the disputation of the Immaculate Conception the painters expressed Virgin Mary in stylistic variations by an interplay between history and theology. Therefore, this paper looks at the history and theological meanings and analyze iconography of the Immaculate Conception in Renaissance art.","PeriodicalId":214583,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Society of Culture and Convergence","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208260","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
