For data collection, a sample characterization form, the Brazilian version of the Healthy Work Environment Assessment Tool, and sections B, C, and F of the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture - Brazilian version were used. Confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis testing (Spearman's correlation coefficient) were used to assess validity. To assess reliability, composite reliability was calculated.Results: the six-factor structure with three items was confirmed. The correlation coefficient reached p<0.0001 for all hypotheses tested. Participants were 25 nursing professionals from a public hospital and a family clinic in Rio de Janeiro. Semi-structured interviews were conducted between November 2021 and October 2023.Results: for nursing professionals, fake news is a complex phenomenon that presents form, content, and intentionality capable of projecting specific dynamics of production, propagation, and consumption of this information. Data collection took place between September 2024 and March 2025. Thematic analysis was used, guided by the problematization, dialogicity, and transformative praxis principles.Results: ten documents were analyzed. Sociodemographic and clinical instruments, a telephone protocol, and the Modified Rankin Scale were used. Data were analyzed using chi-square, Fisher's exact, and McNemar tests (α=0.05).Results: 62.6% presented with asymptomatic/mild dysfunction, and 37.4% with moderate to severe dysfunction. Despite functional improvement, many maintained or worsened their disability (p=0.6219). Follow-up was limited: appointments with neurologists (56.6%), physiotherapists (45.8%), nurses (15%), and secondary prophylaxis (53.6%). Individuals with greater disability had more follow-up, with significant association for physiotherapy.Conclusions: there were gaps in therapeutic support, despite the persistence or progression of disabilities. Univariate analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were employed to verify the associations.Results: 44.1% of participants presented a risk for foot ulceration. Factor analysis indicates that blood sugar testing and medication adherence have the highest factor loadings (λ=0.76 and λ=0.54, respectively) in adherence to self-care for diabetes mellitus. The number of appointments, diagnosis time, and polypharmacy were associated with blood sugar testing and medication adherence.Conclusions: adherence to self-care remains centered on biomedical practices. Low back pain was assessed using disability, duration, and frequency scales.Results: among 83 intensive care nursing professionals, 72.3% reported low back pain in the past year, and 50.6% presented with moderate to high occupational stress. Low back pain was associated with workload and trunk flexor strength. The other physical fitness variables did not vary among groups. Functional disability was similar among individuals with and without low back pain.Conclusions: trunk flexor strength was associated with a lower low back pain incidence in intensive care nursing professionals.
