The intervention was developed using the Problematization Methodology, and knowledge was assessed using an instrument developed by the researchers. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and Fisher's exact test.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>an increase in knowledge was observed in categories related to violence, crime, legislation, ethics, mental disorders, and disaster response. The sample consisted of 13 primary care healthcare professionals working in child health surveillance in the municipality of Passira, state of Pernambuco. The intervention took place through workshops. Data analysis was followed according to the stages proposed by Yin.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>changes and knowledge were identified. The data were subjected to Bardin's content analysis. After initial screening by reading titles and abstracts, 14 of 221 studies were selected, six of which were read in full and 12 were excluded because they did not answer the guiding question. Data were collected from patient records, including sociodemographic and sexual behavior variables, which were dichotomized as high vs. low/moderate risk.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>a total of 214 individuals were included, of whom 111 (51.9%) exhibited high-risk sexual behavior: having a steady or casual partner, having six or more partners, having relationships with both men and women, sometimes/never using condoms and lubricants, and having anal sex. The databases used were Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, Web of Science, Scopus, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, American Chemical Society, Royal Society Chemistry, Sci Finder, and Scientific Electronic Library Online.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>forty-seven studies were included in this review. The High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance filter was tested in 36 studies. Original articles published between 2013 and 2023 were considered. Data were extracted from 89 studies and analyzed using descriptive statistics.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>between three and 15 specialists (64% of studies) participated. The property attribute was assessed for digital and non-digital devices, management systems, and equipment (93.1%, 94.2%, 60%, 33.3%, respectively), the cost-effectiveness attribute, for medications (60%), and the utility attribute, for medical-surgical procedures (31.6%). Data were analyzed using IRaMuTeQ® software and thematic content analysis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>five semantic classes emerged, organized into two categories, highlighting challenges such as cultural and linguistic barriers and the lack of intercultural training. These factors compromise continuity of care and communication with patients, weakening the implementation of clinical management.</p><p><strong>Final considerations: </strong>clinical management, when aligned with cultural specificities, proves to be a strategic approach to improving hospital care for Indigenous populations.
