Ahmadi, Faiza Aidina","doi":"10.37598/rumoh.v11i1.136","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37598/rumoh.v11i1.136","url":null,"abstract":"Redesain Asrama Haji Aceh dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa masalah yang terjadi baik dari segi penataan ruang luar maupun sarana dan prasarana yang sudah tidak nyaman karena bangunan antar massa terlalu jauh, penataan parkir yang tidak teratur dan sirkulasi jalur masuk dan keluar yang tidak terarah sehingga membuat kemacetan pada saat musim haji. Perencanaan Redesain Asrama Haji Aceh berlokasi di jalan T. Nyak Arif, Lingke, Kecamatan Kuta Alam, Banda Aceh. Maksud dari perencanaan ini adalah dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi jamaah dan menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai untuk jamaah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan fungsinya. Klasifikasi Redesain Asrama Haji Aceh merupakan Type Asrama Haji Embarkasi, yaitu Unit Pelaksana Teknis Direktorat Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Haji dan Umrah. Perencanaan ini menerapkan tema Green Architecture dengan memanfaatkan kondisi dan sumber energy alami, menaggapi keadaan tapak pada bangunan dan memperhatikan pengguna bangunan. Analisis yang dipakai dalam bangunan ini yaitu analisis fungsional, analisis tapak dan analisis bangunan. Redesain Asrama Haji Aceh menerapkan pemanfaatan air hujan dan penerapan vertical garden. Luas Lahan 25.300 m2. Bangunan bermassa banyak dan bertingkat rendah, Koefesien Dasar Bangunan (KDB) 151.800 m2 dan luas keseluruhan bangunan 50.600 m2. Redesain Asrama Haji Aceh memiliki 84 kamar dengan kapisitas satu kamar 4 orang. Maksud dari perencanaan ini adalah merencanakan Gedung Bioskop untuk memehuhi keinginan masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh akan sebuah gedung pertunjukan film. Dengan rumusan masalah merencanakan Koetaradja Cinema Centre di Banda Aceh yang sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan, Koetaradja Cinema Centre di Banda Aceh berlokasi di Jl. Prof. Ali Hasyimi, Pango, Ulee Kareeng, Kota Banda Aceh. Berdasarkan klasifikasi Bioskop, rancangan termasuk kedalam Bioskop Cineplex, karena bioskop ini mempunyai layar lebih dari satu, sehingga film yang ditayangkan lebih bervariatif, serta memiliki ruang pertunjukan dengan kapasitas 800 kursi, Tema rancangan adalah Arsitektur Ekspresionisme, tema ini dipilih dikarenakan memiliki korelasi yang jelas dengan menerapkan karakter kristalin yaitu geometri sederhana dari permainan kaca dan material secondary skin sebagai fasade bangunan. Luas lahan 30.039m², luar lantai dasar 4.181m², luar lantai keseluruhan 12.543 m², massa tungga, dengan kapasitas 800 pengunjung perhari. The building itself was completed in 1992 and was designed by Ken Yeang, an architect whose concern is to create a better performance of a building without having to increase its cost of operation. It is located in Malaysia, South East Asia, where the tropical climate has heat and humidity almost the same throughout the year. The concept of the building is bioclimatic design with the original concept of fully natural ventilation, but later the conventional cooling system was added. The architect’s idea is a tube shaped building with multiple terraces and openable windows to provide more wind and humidity in order to have a comfortable thermal condition. However these ideas lead to the problem of increasing yearly energy consumption. This paper then suggest the possible design strategies to improve the thermal comfort of Mesiniaga Tower as well as lower its annual cost such as radiative cooling, night cooling, ground cooling and passive downdraught evaporated cooling.
