When daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports are generated or published by the OLAP operators, the report readers can only rely on their smart eyes to find out hidden rules, similar reports, or trend inside the potentially huge amount of reports. Data mining is a well-developed field for finding hidden rules inside the data itself. However, there is few techniques focus on finding hidden rules, similarity, or trend using OLAP reports as the unit of analysis. In this paper, we explore how to use clustering analysis on OLAP reports in order to automatically and effectively find the grouping knowledge of OLAP reports. We also address the appropriate presentation of this grouping knowledge to OLAP users.","PeriodicalId":207234,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121847619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper analyzes the uncertainty of issues of the classic FSM which is major difficulties of the classic FSM, and gives an algorithm of inexact inference in detail according to the uncertainty issues analysis. This new type of FSM based on the algorithm can handle most of uncertainty issues very well. Due to the combination of inexact inference and expert system, this new type of FSM also possesses the powerful reasoning capability and the fast state transition speed, especially for a huge logical reasoning calculation besides handling the uncertainty issues. So the FSM based on inexact inference expert system has more advantages than the classic FSM: The FSM can handle the uncertainty, the calculation speed is very fast, the state transition is intelligent, the system architecture is simple, and the system is easy to be expanded. The real world model and virtual state transition world model can be separated, so the cycle of software development will be decreased greatly. The paper gives the design strategy for FSM based on inexact inference expert system as well.","PeriodicalId":207234,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116355303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is a part of counter current gas-solid reactor for producing sponge iron. The aim of this research is to study the effect of reduction gas composition and temperature on quality and product capacity of sponge iron products through mathematical modeling arrangement and simulation. Simultaneous mass and energy balances along the reactor lead to a set of ordinary differential equation which includes kinetic equations. Kinetic equations of reduction of hematite to iron metal, methane reforming, and water gas shift reaction are taken into account in the model. Hydrogen and carbon monoxide are used as reduction gas. The equations were solved by finite element method. Simulation result shows an increase in H2 composition while an attenuation of CO will produce higher metallization degree. Metallization degree is also increased with an increase in gas inlet temperature. Reduction gas temperature over than 973oC (1246 K) is not recommended because the formation of sticky iron will be initiated.","PeriodicalId":207234,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126623086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This Equivalent CMOS based model is designed to work at par with the behaviour working of the FRAM. The crux of the design of ferroelectric capacitor in the Ferroelectric Random Access Memory lies in the Hysteris loop. Further an analytical comparison of CMOS Model has been done with the existing FRAM Models[1] which are generally Current based. Also,other models and designs that are based on Hystersis loop have been studied during the research. The designed CMOS Equivalent Model exhibits both the Current and transient Behaviour of the Actual FRAM cell with equally good performance. In Actual Spice tools , FRAM Capacitor is not used, henceforth leads to increase in the complexity of Design and Modeling of FRAM memory in Equivalent CMOS Model.Thus the current research throws light on the detailed and thorough modelling and design of CMOS behavioral Model and CMOS Equivalent Working Model.","PeriodicalId":207234,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127048148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, broadcasting critical information to both survivors and rescue teams is an important component of emergency communications. Reliable transport protocols such as TCP are tuned to perform well in traditional networks where packet losses occur mostly because of congestion. An end-to-end effective data transport protocol is critical to the reliable transfer of information in space and for a battlefield environment. Consequently, a reliable and efficient acknowledgment mechanism is required to accommodate these unreliable communication conditions. In this paper we conduct a comparative investigation of existing data transport acknowledgment mechanisms for possible adoption in the unreliable environment of Wireless Sensor Networks. We also introduce the selective negative acknowledgment (SNACK), which is designed as a reliable retransmission mechanism for data transport, followed by a brief performance evaluation of the effectiveness of SNACK compared to the standard SACK mechanism.","PeriodicalId":207234,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Engineering and Applications","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116947081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
