Comparing this poem and five others (four in Spanish, one in Portuguese) by analyzing similarities and differences among them all, it leads us to the main goal of this paper: the sources and models Lazarraga could have used when writing his poem. Our principal subjects of investigation are: the main topic of the poem (a young girl longing for getting married) and its spread in Western European literature, the metre of the poem (a refrain poem: Spanish villancico), the close relation between the Spanish poems and proverbs, and the erotic —almost obscene— content of the poem. As we develop all these subjects, we specially understand how the poem relates to the Spanish literature of the 16th century, but also to European literature, and we also identify some common features with Basque literature. Various efforts are nevertheless underway to recover it in some towns. Atsolorra is the name given to the visit made by local women on Sunday afternoon to the farmhouse of the newborn baby’s family. The visiting party was almost always made up exclusively of women, and would usually bring a small gift to help the family. In turn, the family would show its appreciation by offering the visitors a late tea-early supper. The inhabitants of Erenotzu, a small neighbourhood within the municipality of Hernani, have succeeded in recovering the practice of atsolorra. Consequently, a research study was conducted between 2015 and 2016 in the neighbourhood with the aim of gaining a more in-depth understanding of this custom. The present paper presents the information gathered from both documentary sources and the fieldwork carried out. In addition to atsolorra, the paper also analyses other rituals linked to the birth of a new baby, women and their socialisation, social communication and the rural world. Over the last few years, doping control in sporting competitions has become a major concern with a significant social impact, given the impact of doping on the health of sportsmen and sportswomen, on the equality of conditions for participants and, finally, as a factor in the “perversion” of the values that are intended to be transmitted through sporting practices. This has led various public and private institutions to develop mechanisms to prevent this practice. It is very opportune for us to consider whether this normative framework and the practice of controls contemplates the more general framework referred to the protection of fundamental rights. EuskaraArtikulu honen helburua da lagin biologikoen eta datu pertsonalen tratamendutik eratorritako inplikazio juridikoei buruz gogoeta fina egitea; hain zuzen ere, kirol-arloan dopinaren aurkako kontrola lortze aldera. Helburua asebetetzeko, material didaktikoa helburu horretara egokitzeaz gain, ikasgelako egiteko moduetan aldaketak behar dira. Horrek irakasleari bi erronka, bederen, planteatzen dizkio: batetik, ikasleen zailtasun diskurtsiboak identifikatzea, eta bestetik, i(ra)kas-prozesua zailtasun horiek gainditzera bideratzea. EnglishIn order to guarantee balanced bilingual speakers, the present education system should also contemplate the student’s communicative capacity. To do this, teaching and learning methods should focus on the use of texts. This model demands a profound change in classroom methods that goes beyond the design of teaching materials. This poses at least two challenges for the teacher: on the one hand, to identify the discursive difficulties of the students, and on the other, to resolve the difficulties of how this might be taught.In this article, we analyze the results of putting in practice a didactic sequence focused on the argumentative text. For that purpose, we followed the methodology developed by the team of Language Didactics of the University of Geneva.In order to identify the instructive aspects of an argument, we have analyzed some argumentative texts of the 4th ESO students at the Lekaroz-Elizondo school. Firstly, we gathered the discursive and linguistic features inherent to the argumentative texts. Subsequently we identified the main obstacles to the pre-texts of the students, limited the teaching objectives and once their elaborations were carried out, traces of development emerged from the post-texts headings and introductions were identified.","PeriodicalId":206755,"journal":{"name":"Uztaro. It is written in Spanish, and scribes translated the testimonies of Basque monolingual speakers into Spanish to record them in writing. However, when necessary, within the Spanish translation, scribes sometimes provided witnesses’ words in Basque. In this work I have studied several short passages in Basque included in judicial processes from the end of the 16th century. Firstly, I have explained how and why such texts were produced. Afterwards, I have focused on the reliability and value those texts may have as data-sources for dialectology and historical linguistics. Then, I have edited and analysed the attestations from San Vicente, Arlegui, Pamplona and Ujue. Lastly, I have listed the linguistic features which appear in the passages, and provided a lexicon and a list of verbs. euskaraNafarroako Errege Artxibo Nagusian XVI. eta XIX. mende bitarteko milaka justizia-auzibideren dokumentazioa gordetzen da. That is, this paper analyzes how Basque youth emotionally understand menstruation. For this we analyzed the emotional definition that 185 young people aged 18-26 made about menstruation. To begin with, an exercise of free association was carried out and its results were analyzed through lexical analysis. Secondly, the PANAS scale of negative and positive affect was also applied. All results were worked on taking into account the sex (female/male) and the feminist ideology (feminist/non-feminist) of the participants. The results revealed that menstruation still generates a high negative emotional charge linked to feelings of disgust, shame, anger or sadness. However, also emerged a representation with a positive emotional charge linked to emotions such as pride or happiness. This positive construction that empowers women is especially linked to feminist ideology. In addition, the implications of the emotional representation of menstruation, as well as their importance in the way that this issue is faced, are considered. It is having a big impact in social sciences, as it gives us new epistemologic, ontologic and metodologic bases for researching. Therefore, this article has the aim of bringing this new theory to the Basque sociology. According to this, the article will attempt to define the Actor-Network Theory and to approach its main concepts using terms such as traslation, agencement or black box. Moreover, the precedents of this theory will be presented. Considering that Tarde, Garfinkel, Serres and Deleuze have had an interesting influence on it, their main contributions will be highlighted and the evolution of their ideas will be explained. Besides, some examples related to urban, health or economic sociology will be used to show the application of this theory in research. Lastly, the article wants to present the main critics towards this method, as well as to invite the Basque sociology to immerse itself in these new theory. EnglishCurrently, Internet and the need for online presence are part of life. Digital competence therefore is becoming increasingly important and that is why developing strategies to ensure the safe use of the network is the main challenge of digital society. For this reason, ICT policies, programs and laws have been defined over the last decades to incorporate technology in education. However, the Basque Country´s Basic Education curriculum doesn´t aim some capacities that DIGCOMP framework establishes about security. To offset this disadvantage, the work includes the design and evaluation of a formative action for responsible use of the Internet in Primary Education 4th, 5th and 6th grades. Artikuluaren bigarren atalean bira soziologikoak ekarritako ikerketa-ildoak azaltzen dira: alorrari buruzko gogoetak biltzeaz gain, ikuspegi soziologikoz egindako ikerketa nagusien berri ematen da. Azkenik, itzulpenaren soziologiak euskal itzulpengintza aztertzeko daukan balioabistaratzen da, bakan-bakanak baitira ildo horretan egindako lanak. Ibarluzea 2017lana oinarri hartuta, euskal itzulpengintzaren historiaren ikerketarako egokitasunaagerrarazten da, eta etorkizunean azter daitezkeen alorretako batzuk proposatzen. EnglishIn the first part of this paper we describe the evolution of Translation Studies as a discipline: we recall the main different points of view and translation theories and we explain in which context the cultural and sociological turn have occurred in order to overcome some aspects of the systemic theories. In the second part of the paper, we focus on the sociological turn in Translation Studies: we recall the main research-trends, projects and different aspects considered in the area. Finally, we try to show why and how is the sociology of translation useful to study Basque translation history, based on Ibarluzea 2017 doctoral research. Few works have been done in the area of Basque translation studies folowing the sociology of translation and we try to make visible some posible research topics.","PeriodicalId":206755,"journal":{"name":"Uztaro. We use those reading strategies to characterize characters, underlining their identity, emotions and also their location in the narration. As reading aloud is aimed to preschool children, we collect examples from different stories and classify them based on opposing characters, in order to make this proposal more simple but comprehensible. Each example provide us with different skills to improve our techniques for reading aloud meaningfully. We also propose an inventory of strategies to characterize story characters and a marking system to plan the reading aloud sessions and to show how these strategies can be used with different characters. EuskaraLan honetan haurrei eskolan kontakizun adierazgarriak aurkeztearen garrantzia azpimarratzen da eta horretarako kontalariak zein komunikazio-estrategia erabil ditzakeen proposatzen da. Kasu honetan, irakurketako estrategia horiek pertsonaiak ezaugarritzeko erabiliko ditugu, pertsonaien nortasunari, emozioei eta kontakizunaren kokapenari arreta eskainiz. Irakurritakoa Haur Hezkuntzako haurrei zuzenduta dagoenez, dualismoan oinarritutako sailkapenak eta horri dagozkion ipuinetako adibideak bildu dira, proposamena ulergarriago egiteko. Adibide horiek guztiak oinarritzat erabiliko dira erakusteko nola hobetu daitekeen irakurketa ozen esanguratsua. Pertsonaiak ezaugarritzeko estrategien inbentario bat proposatu dugu eta horiek baliatzeko eta planifikatzeko markaketa-sistema bat.","PeriodicalId":206755,"journal":{"name":"Uztaro.
