Indeed, there is currently no cure, but early diagnosis and prevention of the disease might be the consequence of ineffective treatment. The absence of effective treatments has led many scientists to look for other ways to analyze and detect cases at a premature stage. One of the ways that are receiving considerable interest is the one based on deep learning, which enables computers to learn from massive datasets without requiring human supervision. This has allowed the development of algorithms with high accuracy leading to better results than traditional methods when used with a doctor’s medical evaluation. This paper focuses on developing a technique based on a Convolutional Neural Network to classify Alzheimer’s disease stages from Magnetic Resonance Imaging data through two distinct scenarios. We compared our results with other state-of-the-art methods, and ours yielded more promising performances.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133422066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This scheme is usually considered when Network Coding (NC) is desired over non-coherent networks. In order to integrate error correction in RLNC, subspace codes have been proposed. The codewords in those codes are unchanged under rank-preserving row operations, making them convenient for RLNC. In this paper, we investigate the use of those codes for the interference channel in a system model consisting of an array of SISO communication systems with cooperative destination nodes. This system model is deemed as a simplified model of a network with a routing based transmission scheme. Results have indicated that the use of subspace codes have allowed for better performance in terms of the decoding failure probability.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131318563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Films have been elaborated from pure HMDSO precursor and/or mixed with different proportion of oxygen gas. Contact angle measurement reveal that deposited films have a hydrophobic character for films deposited from pure Hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) with contact angle value around 110°. Whereas, contact angle decrease gradually with oxygen proportion to achieve 17° for film deposited from 90% oxygen proportion, which indicated that deposited films have hydrophilic character. FTIR analyses and optical emission spectroscopy analyses has been used to investigate the physicchemical properties of deposited films.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123717658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To successfully evaluate the reliability of the proposed analytical results, the numerical modeling method of moments was used with the operator formalism concept for an easier formulation of the boundary conditions. Selected trigonometric trial functions lead to more accurate analysis of such RWG since close agreement was found between the results obtained from our analytical expressions and those given by the numerical method.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116830619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, support vector machine and decision tree approaches are studied and applied to compare their performances in detecting, classifying, and locating faults in the transmission network. The IEEE 14-bus transmission network is considered in this work. Besides, 13 types of faults are tested. Particularly, the one fault and the multiple fault cases are investigated and tested separately. Fault simulations are performed using the SimPowerSystems toolbox in Matlab. Basing on the accuracy score, a comparison is made between the proposed approaches while testing simple faults, on the one hand, and when complicated faults are integrated, on the other hand. Simulation results prove that the support vector machine technique can achieve an accuracy of 87% compared to the decision tree which had an accuracy of 53% in complicated cases.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"608 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123948379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the analysis model is established and the stress calculation is made in various to environmental loads of a small-scale aluminum blade for vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT). The design feasibility of the blade structure is confirmed by evaluating the deflection and stress. Stress analysis is performed in which it is subjected to a combination of gravitational, wind and centrifugal loads using SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION package. The results show that the blade structure works steadily and has good mechanical properties according to maximum values of von Mises stresses and maximum deflections.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124796691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is based on the 3D magnetic charge representation of the permanent magnet. The real geometry of the coils and Biot-Savard law are used to model the stator windings. This modeling method allows computing with very good accuracy the main electromagnetic specifications of such unconventional machines such as magnetic flux, back Electromotive Force (EMF), electromagnetic torque, and inductances. This calculation method is applied to a prototype of a single-sided Fully Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Machine for validation purposes. Calculation results are in good agreement with those obtained with experimental measurements. This method appears to be very suitable to be used in systematic design process for such structures.","PeriodicalId":206584,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128534688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed antenna is able to configure operating frequencies in the frequency range of 1-6GHz and provides a beam switching in the elevation plane between −44° and +44°. Circular polarization characteristic is inspected; the axial ratio remains within an acceptable limit for the majority of the switching cases.
