Se diseñó un estudio ex post facto, descriptivo, transversal en el que participaron 1,121 alumnos de cuatro de los cinco campus que la integran. Entre los resultados destaca que, si bien los estudiantes están satisfechos con los servicios educativos y con los servicios de apoyo, existen diferencias entre los campus que demandan de acciones si se quiere tener un nivel de calidad uniforme. En cuanto a las áreas de oportunidad, la seguridad dentro y en los alrededores de los campus requieren de atención inmediata. En este trabajo se aborda el estudio de las organizaciones locales en un entorno en el cual, se evidencian resultados que permiten manifestar que la integración regional es un proceso, en el que los subsistemas estatales y no estatales se interrelacionan conformando diferentes marcos políticos y organizacionales que permiten gradar la integración, en la que se explayan y analizan los contenidos y transformaciones de política pública, como una “ventana de oportunidades” para consolidar la integración en el espacio Mercosur. Although, some transversal competences are related to the specific knowledge acquired through formal education as a capacity for analysis and synthesis, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) management, ability to make decisions; others are implicit during the process of educational training such as resilience, self-motivation, and emotion management; however, they are important for success in the work environment. Identifying these preferences based on the voices of senior managers who can hardly be accessed for this type of study, made it possible to identify the most important ones based on the design and application of an instrument that used 46 items, measurable on a standard scale. Likert from 1 to 10. Through correlational analysis and a linear regression model the results show that the dimension of transversal competences of greater importance is the dimension of personal competences, with a Pearson correlation of 0.919 and p = 0.01 to two tails; that invites us not to lose sight of the importance of being in the organization. Likewise, three Levels of Transversal Competences (LTC) were identified through a K-means analysis, 83% of the companies showed a high LTC. JEL code: D21, E21, F1. Introducción En la actualidad las organizaciones que deseen sobrevivir y desarrollarse, serán aquellas que se adapten mejor a su medio ambiente; es decir, deben estar diseñadas para cambiar y permanecer en el mercado. La flexibilidad que requieren ante un medio ambiente dinámico y complejo, demanda que cuenten con el personal competente para adoptar la realidad y hacer frente a los cambios, pues la competitividad empresarial está inmersa en los modelos de negocios, más que en los productos y servicios (García, Arranz, Blanco, Edwards, Hernández, Mazadiego, y Piqué, 2015). Las organizaciones empresariales entienden que a pesar que la incertidumbre es parte de su panorama, requieren desarrollar estrategias acordes al mismo, que les permita aprovechar su ventaja competitiva, y es a través del talento humano que pueden lograrlo. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo, transversal, no experimental con método cuantitativo y técnica de encuesta para la recolección de datos. Dicha encuesta incluye tanto efectos internos como los externos, la separación del estudio se realizó en tres áreas: estacionamiento, locales internos y el centro comercial en su totalidad. El espacio de estudio fue en la comunidad fronteriza de Ciudad Juárez, México. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó la relación de variables con minería de datos.
