In past, Pakistan had worst breast feeding rates and despite\u0000efforts to promote breast feeding, situation is not satisfactory. Aims & Objectives: Our aim was to determine\u0000the frequency of mothers having exclusive breast feeding practices and finding various factors which may\u0000affect trends of exclusive breast feeding practices, in rural areas of Lahore. Place and duration of study:\u0000This study was done during May 2018 to October 2018 at Chaudhary Muhammad Akram Teaching Hospital.\u0000Material & Methods: In this cross sectional study, 254 mothers were interviewed directly and predesigned\u0000questionnaire was filled, through non probability consecutive sampling. Data was analyzed using SPSS 20.\u0000Post stratification chi square test was applied. Results: Only 34.3 percent mothers were found to practice\u0000exclusive breast feed till 6 months of infant age, 93 percent mothers were of age<35 years, mean age 26.6\u0000years and SD±4.9. Only 3.5% initiate breast feeding within an hour of birth. Chi square test revealed\u0000association between exclusive breast feed with insufficient breast milk, initiation time of breast feed and early\u0000cessation of breast feed (p<0.05). Aims & Objectives: This study was aimed to determine the\u0000frequency of hyperprolactinemia in PCOS and its association with infertility in PCOS subjects. Place and\u0000duration of study: It was a cross sectional study, conducted during April 2017 and September 2017 at Aziz\u0000Fatimah Hospital, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Material & Methods: It was a cross sectional study which was\u0000conducted at Aziz Fatimah Hospital, Faisalabad, Pakistan from April to September 2017. This study\u0000comprised of 88 female subjects of 17-35 years old who included PCOS subjects and age matched controls.\u0000Hyperprolactinemia was assessed by the measurement of serum prolactin levels which were measured by\u0000chemiluminescence immunoassay technique (CLIA). SPSS version 22 was used for the statistical analysis of\u0000the data. Results: Out of total 88 female participants, 61.4% of polycystic ovary syndrome subjects had\u0000hyperprolactinemia as compared to this 36.4% of controls had hyperprolactinemia. Pearson correlation also\u0000revealed significant positive association of hyperprolactinemia with infertility. Conclusion:\u0000Hyperprolactinemia was frequently seen in polycystic ovary syndrome females as well as raised BMI was\u0000also found. Aims & Objectives: To determine the frequency of QT interval prolongation in patients\u0000with chronic liver disease and resolve the variability in the literature. Place and duration of study: The\u0000present study was conducted in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore from\u00001st March 2017 to 31st August 2017. Material & Methods: About 240 patients with diagnosed chronic liver\u0000disease were selected. Electrocardiography (12 lead) was performed in all patients to look for QT interval\u0000prolongation and their mean was calculated for purpose of analysis. Results: Mean age of our patients was\u000053.7±11.9 and male gender was dominant (55.8%). It was noted that QT interval was prolonged in 62 patients\u0000(25.8%) while rest of the 178 patients had normal QT interval. Conclusion: QT interval prolongation is\u0000frequently observed (25.8%) in chronic liver disease patients.
