Taking the A5000 converter valve used in the rectifier side of ±800 kV/4 750 A UHVDC transmission project from Jinping to Sunan as the example, the iron-core losses of the saturable reactor under three different operation conditions of the UHVDC transmission line are simulated, and the simulation results conform to the on-side measured data. The iron-core loss of the saturable reactor not only comes into being while the converter valve is switching on, but also during the switching off and the off-state of the converter valve. According to the different features of coefficient of elliptic equations under the occurrence of reverse power and grid fault, whether the reverse power or the fault was occurred can be rapidly detected and judged. The time-domain based DSC algorithm is adopted to eliminate the influence of power grid harmonics on the detection accuracy and real-time performance of the proposed algorithm. Based on the time trend of load development, the realtime data stream processing is utilized in the proposed method to perform ultra short-term forecasting, then combining with the results of short-term load forecasting, which contain the whether factors and the effect of load cycle property, the realtime forecasting result at the segmentation point is corrected. The fast segmentation and forecasting ability of the proposed method avoid repeat modeling and improve the speed of forecasting; the realtime correction and handling of the segmentation point increase historical information utilization and decrease the error of segmentation point, thus the forecasting accuracy can be maintained at a better level. According to network connectivity and the allocation of power transferring, the power betweenness of transmission line and that of node are defined respectively. Through the cascading attacks such as the breakage or overload on critical transmission lines, the effectiveness validation of the selected critical transmission lines is performed. Taking IEEE 39-bus system as the testing example, the power betweenness of transmission lines and that of nodes are calculated and sorted; according to sorted results, attacks are made on these elements to verify that these elements with high power betweenness are the weak links in power grid indeed. The stability verification under the static attack is performed by network efficiency function and power flow entropy respectively. The results of analyzing the design idea and the power operation characteristics of AP1000 show that AP1000 nuclear generating unit possesses satisfied load regulation characteristics, so it can be participated in peak load regulation of power grid. On the basis of mastering physical characteristics of core reactivity of AP1000 and its coupling features with neutron-flux, a core simulation model is established to research the interaction between state variables and control variables of the core under small disturbance inside the core or large disturbance outside the core. Two orthogonal voltages, one of which is of the same phase as grid voltage and the phase of another one lags behind the grid voltage by 90°, are obtained by second order generalized integral(SOGI) algorithm, and the fast tracking of given current can be implemented by proportional quasi-resonant(PQR) controller in the two-phase stationary coordinate system. According to the pulse characteristic of time-domain waveform of audible noise it is proposed to utilize segmented double-exponential function to fit single time-domain pulse waveform of single audible noise to obtain empirical waveform, and through the comparative research on fitting results and measured results in time-domain and frequency-domain the reasonableness of the proposed method of the fitted waveform is validated. Finally, based on the measured results of long-term audible noise in time-domain the statistical characteristics of fitting parameters of the segmented double-exponential function under different voltages and that of waveform parameters of audible noise.
