Several approaches to the generation and reception of FBMC signals such as based on frequency spreading and using poly-phase structure are considered. Moreover, a new computationally efficient scheme of FBMC signal generation is proposed. Bit error ratio (BER) curves in standard EPA, EVA, and ETU channels with Doppler frequencies of 5, 70, and 300 Hz, respectively, are obtained. A comparison of the computational complexity of the various approaches for processing FBMC signals together and concerning the case of OFDM signals is performed. It is shown that the method of implementing FBMC/OQAM signals with frequency spreading provides a gain in spectrum efficiency and energy cost, but suffers the computational complexity of up to approximately 12 times compared with a method of implementing CP-OFDM signals. The proposed approach to the formation of FBMC signals can reduce the loss in computational efficiency from 3 to 4 times, while the values of the gain in spectral efficiency remain unchanged.","PeriodicalId":204076,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134146764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The inter-frame temporal relationship is just as important as the intra-frame spatial relationship for solving this problem. However, how to use temporal information effectively remains a challenge, as complex movements are difficult to model, which can lead to adverse effects if not properly processed. The paper presents the results of a study on testing and analyzing the best methods to date for increasing the resolution of a video sequence. Research is aimed at restoring the resolution of a video sequence with minimal loss of quality of perception. The article presents the results of the proposed algorithms in several aspects. In particular, the quality of restoration of specific objects is considered. Since this study is more focused on further research in the field of compatibility of methods for increasing the detail of objects and their detection.","PeriodicalId":204076,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130474396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study designed an LED light generating different frequency strobe stimuli and recorded the electrodermal activity (EDA) signal under different frequency strobe stimuli. The EDA signal processing algorithms to study and analyze the influence of flicker on EDA signal are implemented, including the normalization of EDA signal, frequency filtering, and skin conductance response (SCR) positioning algorithm. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first to study the influence of flicker and the stroboscopic effect by EDA signal. The results show that flicker and the stroboscopic effect can influence the EDA signal, which indicates that flicker may influence the sympathetic nervous system. Moreover, this may also be the reason why flicker can induce human health risks.","PeriodicalId":204076,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123087393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital predistortion, by designing a digital circuit to compensate the nonlinearity, is a popular way to solve this problem, in which traditional mathematical models like Memory Polynomial, Volterra Series are widely adopted. The parameter identification of such models will encounter problems like inverse matrix solving stability and accuracy of polynomial model, especially for high-power PA the memory term selection will be difficult. In this paper, we shows that a well-pretrained Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) model can achieve better stable fitting performance than traditional models, and solve memory effects simultaneously. We also make a comparison between other neural networks and different model sizes, which states that sufficiently using memory effects is important and the capacity to use smaller RNN maintaining same performance.","PeriodicalId":204076,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115827978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The considered variant of the ion-plasma deactivation technology is based on the large area of irradiated reactor graphite surface sputtering by high pressure “shortened” discharge in argon and selective deposition of the beta-active micro layer enriched with carbon-14 radionuclides on the tantalum plate. The selective separation of radioactive metal impurities and carbon-14 is carried out by differentiation with respect to sputtered atoms condensation temperature. Non-irradiated reactor grade graphite samples (GR-280) containing metal impurities on the surface due to industrial fabrication reasons were used in our experiment. Selective deposition of the carbon layer on the tantalum plate was confirmed by means of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with X-ray microanalysis. The beta-radiolayer enriched by carbon-14 is of interest for the fabrication of new materials like a beta-active “nano-micro-sandwich” that can be used for the manufacturing of new beta-voltaic batteries - vacuum-beta-cells (VBC) or for medical brachytherapy purposes.","PeriodicalId":204076,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127029596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
