However, current studies place main focus on continuous degradation processes of systems without the consideration of randomly arriving shocks from changes in inner conditions or external environments. In this paper, we present a new prognostic model to characterize the continuous degradation and randomly arriving shocks. Specifically, we first adopt a Wiener process with a linear drift to characterize the continuous dynamics of the degradation process. In order to model randomly arriving shocks, we propose to use a compound Poisson process to model the impacts on the system's continuous degradation. Under the proposed modeling framework, the probability density function of the estimated RUL is derived and can be updated with the measured degradation data. Compared with the traditional shallow models, which have problems of lacking expression capacity and existing the curse of dimensionality, using deep learning theory can effectively mine characteristics and accurately recognize the health condition. In consequence, fault diagnosis and prognostic based on deep learning have turned into an innovative and promising research field. This paper gives a review of fault diagnosis and prognostic based on deep learning. First of all, a brief introduction to deep learning architecture and the framework of fault diagnosis based on deep learning is described. Second, tracking describes the latest progress of fault diagnosis and prognostic based on deep learning in chronological order. In this section, the deep learning methods used in fault diagnosis and prognostic are discussed, including Deep Neural Network (DNN), Deep Belief Network (DBN) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Due to the complexity of mechanical structure, the health characteristics have too much associated factors. In fact, the health monitoring on speed reducer have difficulties on its validity and practicability. Based on the analysis of existing problems of current research, this paper studies failure mode, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) method of speed reducer, and the FMECA tables could be established. Though criticality analysis, level evaluation and detection degree analysis, the main failure modes and monitoring parameters could be determined. Furthermore, the monitoring information could be acquired and processed combined with the target of health monitoring. Since its inception as an engineering discipline, a lot of diagnostics and prognostics algorithms were developed and furthermore methodologies for health management and PHM development established. These solutions were applied in a lot of industrial cases aiming a maintenance transformation. In the Aerospace and Military systems, for example, the PHM has been applied more than 20 years with systems and components applications. During this last decade, the railway industry focused on maintenance issues and expressed a special interest on the PHM systems. The maintenance of the railway infrastructure requires considerable resources and an important budget. Many of the developed algorithms and methodologies can be imported to the Rail Transport systems. However, a methodology to develop a PHM system for a railway infrastructure must be established. This paper provides an overview on the key steps to design a PHM system regarding to the specific characteristics of the railway infrastructure. As tramcar has a high operating speed and long braking distance, some potential safety hazards may exist. Paper finds that most tram accident occurs at the intersection and collision with pedestrians has the most serious consequences. Then combining the analysis of the safety factors of tram crossing the intersection, this paper has focused on the analysis of collision accident between the tram and the pedestrian based on ATA (Accident Tree Analysis) theory. Structure importance of each basic event is calculated and high-risk events are found. Multi-sensor data fusion usually has a better effect compared with single signal. Multi-sensor data fusion based on neural network(BP) is a commonly used multi-sensor data fusion method, but its application is limited by local optimum problem. Aiming at this problem, a multi-sensor data fusion method based on deep learning for ball screw is proposed in this paper. Deep learning, which consists of unsupervised learning and supervised learning, is the development and evolution of traditional neural network. It can effectively alleviate the optimization difficulty. Parallel superposition on frequency spectra of signals is directly done in the proposed deep learning-based multi-sensor data fusion method, and deep belief networks(DBN) are established by using fused data to adaptively mine available fault characteristics and automatically identify the degradation condition of ball screw. Test is designed to collect vibration signals of ball screw in 7 different degradation conditions by using 5 acceleration sensors installed on different places. The proposed fusion method is applied in identifying the degradation degree of ball screw in the test to demonstrate its efficacy. Finally, the multi-sensor data fusion based on neural network is also applied in degradation degree monitoring. Firstly, a solar array current prediction model is constructed based on the relationship between the satellite solar array and the sun angle meter. Moreover, a false alarm filtering strategy is applied to reduce the false alarm rate. It firstly gets the grey correlation entropy of each test point in the analog circuit. Then it treats each grey correlation entropy as a correlation coefficient to form the dependency matrix of testability. After that, according to the dependency matrix we get, the paper uses the method of PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) to optimize test points, which will optimize the prediction indexes of the analog circuit. Last, the method will be applied in analog circuits. In fact, the maintenance process of each component is different in many aspects, such as maintenance time and cost. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the maintenance strategy from the perspective of components. In this paper, the multi-objective optimization model of maintenance cost rate and system availability is established under the constraint of system reliability by mathematical modeling.
