Most of these sites were discovered and excavated at the end of the 19th and in the first half of the 20th century. Consequently, it is not always possible today to establish clear research contexts and dating is often based on typo-chronological statements. The Swiss Magdalenian portable art can be divided into two main groups: engravings and figurative sculptures. Engravings mostly appear on reindeer antlers, bones, and rarely on stone or jet. They are more common than figurative sculptures. The majority of engravings are on everyday objects such as perforated batons and projectile points. They are mainly signs and other ornamental motifs. In addition, there are also figurative subjects such as animals and a animal-human representation. The term “figurative sculptures” refers to partially sculptured objects, such as decorated spear thrower ends and stylized female figurines. With the exception of a musk ox head no other evident animal sculptures have been found in Switzerland. Some of the Magdalenian portable art objects found in Switzerland show supra-regional parallels with finds from other parts of Europe. The aim of this article is to present the most important Swiss finds in a broader European geographical context.","PeriodicalId":202037,"journal":{"name":"Camera Praehistorica","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129298126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Images were made in the form of round and flat sculpture and one-sided relief. The article examines the particular features of using such items in comparison with objects that have no decoration. Also, the article raises the question of the possibilities of the use-wear analysis in the study of materials from the sacred places. As a result of the use-wear analysis, it was found that objects with zoomorphic images were used intensively for a longer time than objects with similar functions, but without decoration. The burial ground is located in the novosibirsk Ob area, in Iskitimsky region, 900 m north-east from the village Bystrovka, near the road Bystrovka— Burmistrovo—Iskitim. The main goal of the work is the introduction of the dental collection from the burial ground of Bystrovka-3 to the scientific circu-lation to clarify the composition and genesis of the Kamenskaya culture population from the territory of the novosibirsk Ob region, and also to assess the contribution of local populations to the studying groups. collection was studied according to the standard odontological program developed by A.A. Zubov, and also according to the program of archaic dental markers, developed by A.v. Zubova. Obtained results demonstrated the predominance of the autochthonous component, connected with the upper Palaeolithic South Siberian populations, and preserved in the Bronze Age in the Okunevskaya culture population of the Khakas-Minusinsk Basin. Also, comparative intergroup comparison of the studying serie with groups of bronze and Early Iron epochs of the Western Siberia by means of factor analysis was carried out. As a result, the prevalence of the local ancient component in the composition of the Bystrovka-3 series were concluded. Also, it was also concluded that the migrant Andron component was practically completely dissolved till the I century Bc.
