In this sense, the examination of postgraduate theses in the field of behavior management in special education is important in terms of describing the innovations, developments, current trends, and, if any, incomplete situations in the field of behavior management. This study conducted bibliometric research with credible sources, to arrive at findings for the purpose of this research. According to the research findings, it was concluded that most postgraduate studies on behavior management in the field of special education were published as postgraduate publications; the most publications were made in 2019, and the university with the most publications was Eskişehir Anadolu University, with the most used research method in the conducted studies being a quantitative research method.\u0000Keywords: Applied behavior analysis; Behavior management; document analysis; problem behavior.","PeriodicalId":201076,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Special Education and Information Technologies","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124787277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study can be categorized as a survey-based correlation study that sought to examine the relationship between two variables, namely, the verbal and emotional intelligence of learners, using gender as the moderator variable to demonstrate how gender differences affect the relationships between two dependent variables. 120 intermediate EFL male and female students from the Tokat Gaziosmanpasa ELT department's relevant classes held in the fall semester of 2022 were initially chosen to participate in the study. The Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire's domestic version's items were administered to the subjects. This descriptive research, which aims to examine the creativity perceptions of gifted students in terms of various variables, used the survey model. Research data was collected through the “How Creative Are You?” scale. Analysis of the data revealed that more than half of the gifted students found themselves to be above-average creatives. Emotional regulation and management skills are essential for students with special education needs . This article, therefore, aims to identify and discuss the need for exposure and the development of an emotional regulation teaching method, that utilizes batik art therapy as a pedagogical strategy. For a need’s assessment, an open-ended survey was conducted with 35 special education teachers identified using the purposeful sampling technique. The research used thematic analysis, which showed the need to develop emotional regulation teaching methods and a strong teachers’ interest in attending formal emotional regulation training programs. At the same time, the relevance of batik art therapy as a teaching method for emotional regulation was strongly supported by the special education teachers involved. Generally, dissociation takes place when an individual reacts during or after a traumatic event in self-protection to avoid psychological harm. This may be presented as a distortion of thoughts in terms of space, time, consciousness or even personality. This study sought to understand whether the memory of trauma influenced dissociation. A dissociation events scale was used to explore the levels of dissociation within factors such as derealisation, amnesia and absorption. A correlation design was used to find out the relationship between memory with dissociation. The results indicated that there was a positive relationship between the memory of trauma and dissociation. Pearson’s correlation was used to find the relationship between the impact of the memory of trauma and dissociation. The findings were inverse.
