The proposed topology is a stand-alone system that is required to harvest the maximum energy from the photovoltaic (PV) panel to charge batteries. Perturb and Observe method (P&O) is used to control converters using for Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Additionally, a Three-Stage Charging (TSC) method is used to quickly and safely charge the battery. The power management technique between the maximum power point tracking and the power charging processes is also proposed. The simulation results show that the P&O method can efficiently track the maximum power and the TSC method can properly control the charging process. Moreover, the MPPT method and optimal charging of the battery can work together with the proposed power management algorithm.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"221 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115996475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a recent year, one of interesting research work initiated for minimizing testing time is finding a technique in selecting test cases from a large test suit. Most of test cases selection technique in literature considers test cases that are related to the requirement's changed. During executing test cases that are related to the modified part, a set of fail test case is accidentally emerged and make test suit has become larger. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique in selecting suitable false test cases when they are generated in regression testing. However, in order to ensure that the quality and validity of using the proposed technique are acceptable, an experiment was systematically conducted in this study. And we also found that the false test case selection technique can minimize the size of test suit, effectively.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116045916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The options consist of Keyed-Hash Message Authentication Code and timestamp. In the network access control system, local network devices needing to access protected networks have to attach the options to packet header before sending to destination through a network access controller or commonly known as a gateway. Internet Protocol packets with options are verified on the gateway, the Keyed-Hash Message Authentication Code is used for checking integrity of data and the timestamp is used for replay attack mitigation. Packets passing all processes would be allowed to access to the protected networks. The design of self-authenticated Internet Protocol provides a protection of sending source spoofed packets from local network causing damage to other networks and also provides high reliability of source identification.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"880 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116168484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose two methods to modify message-passing in a factor graph to the graph-based (GB) detector in the 2-D interference channel. One applies the factor graph to the basic clusters in the cluster 2×2 channel matrix for the GB detector, while the second method the 2-D interference channel by ignoring cornered ITIs of the reliability updates in the factor graph to the basic clusters. The neural network uses back propagation technique and levenberg-marquardt algorithm for learning and training. The day and usage time of electric kettle are inputs for learning and training until the neural network can predict and control the operation time correctly when the user needs to use the electric kettle. As the results, the neural network can predict and control the operation time of electric kettle including amount of water usage for each day accurately. Amount of water usage for each day is based on the average value about 760 cubic centimeters. This neural network can also provide the average of energy saving approximately 49.84 percent as comparing with the general electric kettle. This technique may also apply with the other home applications.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128734061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system is a multivariable nonlinear system with parametric uncertainty. The control objective is to regulate the water level in each tank. First, a nonlinear geometric control law, exact feedback linearization is designed in inner loop to cancel the nonlinearity of nominal system. Then, two types of robust H∞ controllers (H∞ static state feedback controller and fixed structure PID H∞ controller) are designed in outer loop to handling parametric uncertainty. Control performances via simulation show that H∞ static state feedback controller with exact feedback linearization gives better results.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"05 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127250757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PV systems have become more common place, as evidenced by the number of PV array roof-installations visible in many communities today. However, it is assumed that the modules in these arrays are identical, as it is important to have similar currents flow through each branch of an array. Partial shading or unmatched PV modules may lead to power mismatches, hot spots and ultimately a lower overall output power than what is desired. The purpose of this paper is to present a simplified measuring approach to validate the operating performance of two identical PV modules by determining their switch-on time. Any significant differences in switch-on time between identical PV modules could lead to possible power mismatches in a PV array. Results confirm that both PV modules are very similar in switch-on time, with an average on-time difference of 2 minutes and 27 seconds.. This indicates that both PV modules start operating at roughly the same time of the day, thereby providing similar current flows which contribute to the optimum performance of a PV array.","PeriodicalId":200661,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129013146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
