Pada penelitian ini, sexting behavior diartikan sebagai kegiatan menerima, mengirim, serta menerima sekaligus mengirim konten berkonotasi seksual berupa pesan teks, gambar atau foto dan video melalui ponsel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pencarian sensasi dan harga diri terhadap sexting behavior pada remaja pelaku sexting di Jakarta. Penelitian ini melibatkan 370 responden laki-laki dan perempuan dengan latar belakang yang berbeda-beda. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda dan uji beda dengan independent sample t-test maupun ANOVA. Beberapa hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah (1) pencarian sensasi dan harga diri berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sexting behavior, (2) pencarian sensasi berpengaruh terhadap sexting behavior, (3) harga diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap sexting behavior, (4) terhadap perbedaan sexting behavior ditinjau dari usia, pendidikan, dan orientasi seksual. Hasil penelitian juga menyiratkan bahwa sexting behavior merupakan perilaku yang biasa dilakukan oleh remaja, apapun orientasi seksual, latar belakang pendidikan, dan status responden. Sementara itu juga diketahui bahwa figur yang paling banyak disebut sebagai tujuan sexting behavior adalah teman sebaya. Dalam penggunaannya, generasi Y menghabiskan lebih banyak waktunya untuk mengakses media sosial dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. Penggunaan media sosial yang telalu sering dapat mengakibatkan hilangnya kemampuan berinteraksi secara langsung. Fenomena menunjukkan bahwa generasi Y mengalami kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi serta kurang memiliki pendekatan yang kurang pantas ketika berbicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan frekuensi penggunaan media sosial dengan komunikasi interpersonal pada karyawan generasi Y. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 131 karyawan generasi Y berusia 22-38 tahun yang bekerja di DKI Jakarta dan memiliki media sosial lebih dari satu. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur The Media and Technology Usage and Attitude Scale (Rosen, 2013) dan Interpersonal Communication Inventory (Graham, 1998) yang telah diadaptasi. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi penggunaan media sosial memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan dimensi awareness of others pada komunikasi interpersonal. Mereka akan memiliki kemampuan untuk menangani masalah kuliah dan secara otomatis mengurangi distres psikologis mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental kuasi yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self-esteem pada mahasiswa yang mengalami distres psikologi. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 8 mahasiswa S1 Universitas Indonesia yang berusia 18-23 tahun dengan tingkat self-esteem di bawah nilai 29 yang diukur dengan Rosenberg self-esteem scale (RSES), dan memiliki tingkat distres psikologi di atas nilai 1.75 yang diukur dengan HSCL-25. Partisipan terlibat dalam intervensi peningkatan self-esteem yang terdiri dari 5 sesi utama selama dua hari berturut-turut (sekitar 6 jam dalam sehari). Empat minggu setelah hari kedua pelatihan, tingkat self-esteem dan distres psikologis responden diukur. Hasil pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa skor mean self-esteem peserta mengalami peningkatan dan skor mean distres psikologis mengalami penurunan. Hasil uji Wilcoxon juga menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan pada kedua variabel (Z RSES = -2.246; Z HSCL-25 = -2.366; p < .05). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi pelatihan efektif dalam meningkatkan self-esteem dan menurunkan distres psikologis bagi mahasiswa S1 Universitas Indonesia. A total of 126 parents of children aged between 3 and 6 years old participated in this study. The Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire Short Version (Robinson, Mandleco, Olsen, & Hart, 2001) was used to measure parents’ parenting style, and the Emotion Regulation Checklist (Shields & Cicchetti, 1997) was used to measure parents’ perceptions of children’s emotional regulation. The results revealed that there was a positive significant relationship between authoritative parenting style and the development of children’s emotional regulation, and there were negative significant relationships between authoritarian and permissive parenting styles and children’s emotional regulation in this population. Salah satu faktor individu yang dapat memengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa berkebutuhan khusus adalah keterampilan sosial yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan sosial dan prestasi akademik siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar inklusif. Peneliti juga menguji variabel demografi siswa berkebutuhan khusus yang dapat memengaruhi keterampilan sosial yang dimilikinya, yakni jenis kelamin, jenis hambatan dan tingkat hambatan yang dialami siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 210 guru kelas yang mengajar 365 siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar inklusif di Jakarta. Partisipan diperoleh dengan teknik convenience sampling, yakni peneliti mengambil sampel pada 17 skekolah dasar negeri inklusif dan lima sekolah dasar swasta inklusif di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan korelasional dengan desain non eksperimental, serta menggunakan uji statistik pearson correlation, independent t-test, dan one-way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki siswa berkebutuhan khusus berhubungan dengan prestasi akademik yang dimilikinya. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel demografi yang memengaruhi keterampilan sosial siswa adalah tingkat hambatan yang dimiliki siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Diketahui bahwa ketidakjujuran akademik ini meningkat secara dramatis setiap tahunnya dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Penelitian ini menghipotesiskan bahwa tekanan orangtua dan perfeksionisme berhubungan dengan ketidakjujuran akademik. Pengambilan data dilakukan kepada 600 pelajar di Jakarta yang berusia antara 14 – 18 tahun. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi Children-Adolescence Perfectionism Scale (CAPS), Perceived Parental Pressure Inventory (PPPI), dan Academic Dishonesty Scale; ketiganya diterjemahkan oleh peneliti ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia sebelum digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tekanan orangtua berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan ketidakjujuran akademik, (2) perfeksionisme berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan ketidakjujuran akademik, dan (3) tekanan orangtua berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan perfeksionisme. If they do not have enough mental readiness to deal with demands from their environment, it is feared that it can cause negative emotions that can result in the emergence of behavioral problems, such as depression and delinquency. These behavioral problems if not addressed immediately, will risk the poor development of students. Students are worried that they willfail to master the positive abilities that adults should have, such as the ability to control emotions and behave responsibly. Considering that students spend almost all of their time in school, the physical environment and social environment in schools should have a role in helping students to get through adolescence with positive self-development. Therefore, this study attempts to investigate the contribution of factors related to academic matters, namely academic self-efficacy and school climate on student life satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach using academic self-efficacy questionnaires, school climate, and student life satisfaction. The final respondents obtained were 211 class XII students from SMAN 5, SMAN 6,and SMAN 7 Depok. The data obtained were analyzed by multiple linear regression test. The results showed that academic self-efficacy and school climate had a significant contribution to student life satisfaction, both simultaneously and partially. It is crucial to discover their knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) towards HIV/AIDS since the highest HIV infection in Indonesia until 2016 is between those ages. The survey was conducted in Indonesia between November-December 2015. Data was collected using online structured KAP questionnaire to 350 undergraduate students (aged 18-23 years old) in Universitas Indonesia and analyzed with descriptive statistic. The KAP questionnaire used was adapted from Mulu, Abera, and Yinner (2014). Results shown that most participants answered correctly in knowledge items, but most of them still didn't know that HIV and AIDS are two different things, and they think that HIV can be infected through sharing foods, exchanging clothes and toilets with PLWH (People Living with HIV). Most participants have a positive attitude towards HIV/AIDS, but they have a negative attitude regarding on using condom while having sex as an affront to the couple, and disagreeing to live together with PLWH. Regarding on the practice, as much as 76 participants who have had sex ever had a risky sexual behavior but never had VCT (Voluntary Counseling & Testing), while the rest of participants who never had sex mostly have seen a condom but didn't feel comfortable to hold it. Knowledge towards HIV/AIDS was quite sufficient, the attitude was fair enough, but the practice for the participants who have had sex needed attention more. Graduate students who want to join the workforce should have high career adaptability and job search self-efficacy, to enable them to be success. The aim of this research was to found out the relationship between students job search self-efficacy (JSSE) with career adaptability (CA) in University (N=82) with quantitative approach. Researcher using career adaptability scale (Savickas, 2012) and job search self-efficacy (Wanberg, et.al, 2010) and then analyzed it with correlation methods. A Focused Group Discussion was given to explore more findings. The reliability score from JSSE is 0.826 and CA is 0.931. The JSSE validity score was 0.435-0.817 and CA validity score was 0.33-0.83.
