It is challenging to rapidly and accurately generate a high-precision 3D face model from raw scan data with a simple setup and processing. The main roadblock is that existing 3D face databases are far from adequate to describe the full variability of faces. To address these problems, we analyse the characteristics of examples from a relatively small sample set for more reliable reconstruction knowledge, as well as a new landmark marking method to simplify the description of human face shape. Principal component analysis is used to extract the feature patterns from samples and simplify data representation. Then the 3D face model and the landmarks are correlated via a mapping matrix. An effective mapping algorithm is devised to learn the transformation relation from landmarks to 3D face shapes. Compared with existing methods, the proposed method can generate a high-precision 3D face model from sparse landmarks more accurately. The application and extensive experimental evaluations on the Chinese craniofacial database and FaceWarehouse database show that our method can achieve high accuracy, effectiveness and robustness in 3D face reconstruction.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129221007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the task of clustering parts of an image together, which belong to the same object class. Using medical images for tumor growth modeling involves the improvement of all tasks of image processing, most importantly the segmentation. We introduce the tumor segmentation framework based on traditional machine learning and community detection algorithm. In This paper, we propose a novel approach for image segmentation, which is based on community detection algorithms existing in social networks. In this regard, we propose a method based on super-pixels and algorithms for community detection in graphs. The super-pixel method reduces the number of nodes in the graph while community detection algorithms provide more accurate segmentation than traditional approaches. We compare our method with the image segmentation method based on the deep learning approach and our previous work. Experimental results have shown that our method provides more precise segmentation.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129260238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite their undeniable importance in improving occupational health and safety, there has long been disagreement about how and whether cognitive performance at work should be measured, analyzed, and used to either provide feedback to the user or report to the supervisor. The collection of sensory information is perceived very differently depending on cultural background, personality, device owner, and intended use of the data collected. While personal devices—such as smartwatches—enjoy a high level of acceptance, collecting data on employer devices is generally considered unacceptable and, depending on the country, even prohibited by law. To investigate the perceived usefulness at work, we designed Reflect, which responds to critical user conditions by informing the user. We found that, contrary to common belief, the use of cognitive assistance supporting workers or students in computer-oriented work is perceived positively by most participants and can be increased by emphasizing transparency and fair data processing.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"264 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114326116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital image compositing is a technique to re-synthesize a single image from multiple visual elements. Assembling separated visual elements leads to highly efficient content creation at risk of losing visual coherence. Visual coherence has two types: positional and illumination. Compositing while maintaining illumination coherence is considered a challenging task, because light transport information is needed to reproduce global illumination effects—color bleeding, soft shadows, caustics, and so on. The pipeline of the proposed compositor incorporates shape reconstruction, as well as global illumination simulation and relighting; thus, the compositor can reproduce background-to-foreground color bleeding and soft shadows. It is empirically evaluated that the proposed compositor compares favorably with rendering both in terms of quality and speed. Because it is in principle impossible to render the foreground and background elements together, the proposed compositor is inevitably selected to generate images with the two types of visual coherence. This leads to efficient construction of photorealistic cyberworlds.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126046719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, understanding a user's keystroke dynamics behavior in real applications is a challenging task regarding that this behavior is notably changing over time. To mitigate this problem, we apply, in this paper, the long short-term memory (LSTM) model that recognizes a continuous sequences of keystroke dynamics to identify users of public datasets. We also consider the bidirectional long short-term memory (BLSTM) as it maintain information about the future data. Hence, collecting information about intra-class variations of the keystroke dynamics from both past and future data, is an interesting solution to our problem. The obtained results are promising since we obtained an accuracy rate over than 60% for both architectures when dealing with public databases.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122120235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Judging the suitable color for shipment requires experience and varies from one person to another. We herein describe a support system for grape harvesting based on color estimation. To estimate the color of a bunch of grapes, bunch detection, grain detection, removal of diseased grains, and color estimation should be performed. Models based on deep learning are employed for this series of processes. Since color is strongly affected by sunlight, we propose a multitask model that considers sunlight exposure to achieve a robust color estimation model that exhibits decreased sensitivity to sunlight. Our results show that the color estimation accuracy of the model is 76% when sunlight exposure is not considered and 81% when sunlight exposure is considered. In addition, we performed a practical field test of the developed harvest support system in an actual grape field. The results show that our support system can determine the appropriateness of grape harvest with an accuracy of 90%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the system.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128775798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among many advantages, building test routines in virtual environments remains a challenge due to the lack of established procedures and toolkits. To encourage research in this direction and lower the barrier to entry, it is necessary to simplify the process of setting up a research environment in virtual reality by providing appropriate toolkits. This paper discusses what challenges need to be overcome, what features might be relevant, and compares available toolkits.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127702840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This problem is addressed by decoupling the smoke animation and rendering into independent stages. Offline smoke diffusion simulation was conducted in respect to fluid dynamics. Real-Time rendering in VR was achieved by the combination of the simulation's accumulated data and light scattering theory. Results demonstrate that a satisfying framerate is accomplished making this approach suitable for developing immersive and interactive applications such as training simulations.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115250887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
