This information has become ubiquitous as online communities and social media have grown increasingly integrated with daily life. The domain of social-behavioral biometrics analyzes the interactions, relations, and communications of individuals rather than traditional physical traits. Recent research has demonstrated that a person's visual aesthetic preferences possess discriminatory value for person identification. This paper introduces the first audio and visual multi-modal aesthetic identification system that utilizes both user-liked images and songs for an accurate identity prediction with score-level fusion. The developed multimodal system achieves an accuracy of 99.4% on the proprietary audio-visual dataset, outperforming unimodal systems.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"10 46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125270036","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present a novel multi-stage defect repaired image resynthesis framework for the detection and segmentation of anomalies in images. In contrast to the existing reconstruction-based approaches, our reconstruction is free from artifacts caused by defective regions so that the defects can be identified from the residual map between input samples and their resynthesized defect-eliminated outputs. Our method outperforms the state-of-art benchmarks in most categories using the publicly available MVTec dataset. Besides, the method also demonstrates an excellent capability of repairing defects in abnormal samples.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122835228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several studies have focused on reducing latency using various approaches. This paper proposes a framework that uses a convolutional neural network to predict user touch points for interactive public displays. The framework predicts user touch events before the finger reaches the display surface to reduce the latency in feedback. As a training dataset, 1,651 tapping actions were collected from 18 participants in front of a display. The training of the convolutional neural network architecture was performed using the collected tapping actions. Validation test results showed that reasonable accuracy could be achieved at 390 ms before touching the display.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130682971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, Tor does not provide any protection against the global passive adversary. In this threat model, an idea to obtain recipient anonymity, which is enough to have relationship anonymity, is to hide the recipient among a sufficiently large anonymity set. However, this would lead to high latency both in the set-up phase (which has a quadratic cost in the number of involved nodes) and in the successive communication. In this paper, we propose a way to arrange a Tor circuit with a tree-like topology, in which the anonymity set consists of all its nodes, whereas set-up and communication latency depends on the number of the sole branch nodes (which is a small fraction of all the nodes). Basically, the cost goes down from quadratic to linear. Anonymity is obtained by applying a broadcast-based technique for the forward message, and cover traffic (generated by the terminal-chain nodes) plus mixing over branch nodes, for the response.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"14 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130461792","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper we review the currently available complete solutions for Augmented Reality, divided into the primary display techniques used: Video See-through, using cameras to capture the real world subsequently presented with virtual overlays on a handheld or headworn display, Optical See-through, using semi-transparent display to allow real world view together with the virtual augmentations, and Projection-based AR or Spatial AR, the use of projectors to display augmentations directly on top of surfaces in the room. First potential products were found using popular Internet search engines, after which products that are not complete solutions or not commercially available were filtered out. We present the different products together with a description of their presented or studied characteristics, and of their accompanying software solutions.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127187034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The more easily a captcha system is automatically solved, the greater is the risk to the website. State-of-the-art pretrained hybrid CNN models (combination of CNN with RNN or CNN with Transformer) have been used with large training datasets for image to text (character) sequence applications such as OCR and text captcha solving. However, it is critical to examine the architectures with low resource settings (i.e. minimal weight parameters) so they can be quickly trained for a fresh dataset using limited hardware resources. Due to the low resource context, the models may be easily adapted and trained from scratch for testing the effectiveness of multiple text-based captcha systems. In our study, we focus on the capability of a single encoder based Transformer network to solving a real-time captcha system in low-resource settings. Here we use manually annotated captcha training samples, small in size. Experimental results exhibit that the non-CNN based Transformer approach outperforms the CNN approach even with fewer model weight parameters. For this study, we concentrate on the real-time captcha systems utilized by five Indian government websites. We train the models from scratch using the corresponding manually annotated real-time datasets to demonstrate the vulnerability of each of the captcha system and to report the performance of the models in low resource circumstances. We observe that, though the importance of the information available on these government websites is enormous, the effort required to solve the captcha systems is modest, indicating a potential risk.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122959712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On one hand, these kinds of fuel are more sustainable to the environment, on the other hand, training on handling such fuel safely and dealing with emergency situation is necessary. Videos and lecture-based learning is commonly used to deliver such knowledge to the maritime trainees. In recent years, the advances in Virtual Reality (VR) have brought new opportunities to such training. It provides an immersive while safe environment for training on certain operations that are extraordinary or dangerous in real life. It also allows the learners to practice the tasks repeatedly. The VR-based training is mostly used for improving technical skills, however, to guarantee a more efficient and better assessment of trainee's performance, nontechnical skills such as decision making, situation awareness, vigilance are needed to be assessed and trained as well. In this paper, a VR-based LNG evacuation training system is presented. The system provides two training scenarios for learning the evacuation procedure. A novel human factors evaluation based on the behavioral data captured by VR was proposed and integrated with the training, which includes both technical and non-technical skills assessment. An experiment with 14 subjects was conducted to validate the human factors evaluation and to get feedback towards the VR-based training.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121997689","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, extending these systems to support further animation possibilities, with the character adapting to its environment and interacting with objects on a scene remains a challenging task. Manually specifying key frames to produce motion for individual interactions, can be a tedious and expensive task. In this paper, an inverse kinematic approach is discussed for collision avoidance with objects, as a way for extending the animation capabilities of characters. The system is based on the FABRIK algorithm in Unity3D for collision avoidance with objects of different sizes and geometry. The scalability of the system is demonstrated as it works with both quadruped and biped characters in real-time.","PeriodicalId":199618,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116481401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
