Anxiety is one of the mental disorders with increased prevalence during the war. A close relationship between anxiety and carbon dioxide concentration in the human body was revealed. There is no doubt about the pivotal role of the later in vascular tone control and the appropriate functioning of the endothelium. This paper presented case series of three female patients with similar complaints exacerbated after a stressful situation (bombing) in the period of the Russian-Ukrainian War. In addition to routine investigational methods (anamnesis taking, physical examination, electrocardiography, and transthoracic echocardiography at rest), Hamilton Anxiety Score and capnometry were used. The trend of drastically decreased end-tidal concentration of carbon dioxide and mild to severe anxiety levels was noticed. We consider there is a connection between the severity of anxiety and end-tidal concentration of carbon dioxide that indirectly reflects the possible endothelial dysfunction. Therefore, taking into consideration patho-mechanisms and pathology data, using differential pathogenetic methods of surgical invasion and computer monitoring of post-operative period we managed to decrease mortality in severecerebro-cranial traumas to 29-30% comparing to pre computer periods 36-38 % and comparing to data of other clinics 35-45%.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88788798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So far, surgical correction with plaque removal offers the greatest likelihood of success during the stable phase of the disease. However, for men in the acute phase of PD or those with a milder deformity who choose to avoid surgery, conservative treatment methods are also available. New innovative methods are extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) and ultrasound therapy. Intralesional therapy with IFN-α2b, verapamil, and Clostridium histolyticum (CCH) collagenase can significantly reduce penile deviation (PD), but these results may not be clinically significant in men with more severe disease. Iontophoresis (EMDA, electromotive drug administration) of verapamil and cortisone have shown reductions in PD and penile pain.Penile traction therapy offers clinically significant improvement in penile length and curvature. It requires daily therapy lasting several hours. Oral therapies with substances such as L-arginine, L-citrulline, vitamin E and phosphodiesterase inhibitors are most helpful as part of a combination regimen rather than as monotherapy. Regenerative therapies with stem cells and platelet-rich plasma, as well as intralesional therapy with botulinum toxin (Botox) have not yet been well clinically studied and their possible application is currently taking place within the framework of clinical research. The combination of various oral, topical, intralesional therapies, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, ultrasound and traction therapies together with clinical psychosexual therapy if needed could provide a more effective treatment, which in turn could prevent or reduce the need for definitive reconstructive penile surgery. Materials and methods: For the purposes of the literature review, a systematic search was conducted for articles in German and English on non-invasive treatment methods for Peyronie's disease. The articles were selected according to their relevance to the given topic. The main findings were summarized and presented in tabular form.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"114 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76148699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Motoblocks perform agricultural work for various purposes, where the work process is performed by the operator, who experiences various magnitudes of vibration, impact, noise, and in general, as a result of long-term work production, causes body damage, dynamic load, and respiratory diseases in people. In the scientific paper, the dependence on the vibration of different types of diesel fuel is investigated in the case of five different revolutions in the internal combustion engine. Studies have shown that fuel and engine speed are the only risk factors that contradict the ISO 5349-2(2004) international standard. The experience of four years of work studies showed that 10% of operators received various types of injuries as a result of working with motoblocks. Experiments also showed that the amount of vibration decreases when the number of revolutions of the engine increases, and in the case of using biodiesel fuel, the damage risk factor is 5-10%, and in the case of using conventional diesel, this indicator has gone up to 20%.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"26 5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77263786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Today in the world there are approximately 64 million patients with CHF. The disease is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. CHF is the leading cause of hospital admissions among people over 65 years of age, placing a significant burden on the health care system and economic burden. Experts identify several main categories of heart failure, using the LVEF assessment as an indicator of heart contractility: heart failure with low EF (LVEF ≤ 40%), HF with moderately reduced EF (LVEF 41-49%) and HF with preserved EF (LVEF ≥ 50%). Approximately half of all patients with CHF have HFrEF or HFpEF, a population of patients for whom a limited set of therapeutic options are currently available. Тhanks to effect on prognosis and symptoms in patients  with CHF with low EF (LVEF ≤ 40%), a favorable safety profile and ease of use (reception 1 time / day and no dose titration necessary), dapagliflozin may be considered as an addition to the standard therapy to reduce the severity of symptoms, improve the prognosis of survival incidence and reduction in the number of future hospitalizations in connection with CHF.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87143632","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research on animals is of great importance in studying the problems of mental pathological conditions. Special attention in such studies, attention is paid to the behavior of animals that are on the border between normality and pathology. After all, understanding that how sick animals behave, on which are affected by stress, weighs a lot to understand how people behave in similar situations. The aim of the work is to investigate the anti-stress effect of pyridoxine and its effect on tryptophan metabolism in the central nervous system under conditions of experimental emotional stress. Pyridoxine, which is a coenzyme of many enzyme systems of tryptophan exchange, when administered under EC conditions, leads to a statistically significant, compared to the control, decrease in the level of tryptophan in all the studied structures of the brain: cortex, stem, cerebellum, and hypothalamus. At the same time, the level of serotonin in all structures reliably increases to control values, and in the cortex it even exceeds them.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"26 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86187049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All real processes owing to a friction, heat exchange at a final difference of temperatures and limitation of time of their course are irreversible. As irreversibility measure entropy serves. The paper considers the peculiarities of the transformation of thermal energy, taking into account entropy. A theoretical analysis of the efficiency of work performance (exergy) is given. The equations of thermal and exergic balance of thermal engines are presented, taking into account the impact on the environment. The main parameters characterizing the loss of efficiency of the charge air during the period of filling the cylinder are determined and calculated: the filling factor and the loss of pump strokes. The calculated value of pumping losses allows, with sufficient for calculating the gas exchange of engines and especially for calculating the operation of pumping passages, to determine the amount of loss in the efficiency of air pre-compressed in the pressurization unit.","PeriodicalId":19855,"journal":{"name":"Pharmacy World & Science","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88317766","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
