The antenna is placed on a metallized silicon chip ensuring good mechanical stability and high gain. The resulting structure has an input matching bandwidth between 76 – 100 GHz, with a gain of 10.5 dBi at 94 GHz. The array is designed without wide angle impedance matching (WAIM) layer for the sake of low-profile and a compact wideband integrated balun is implemented to feed the array aperture. Parasitic rectangular strips etched on each side of the dipole are utilized to improve the radiation performances in the H-plane, which is orthogonal to the current excited direction that is tightly coupled. An $8 times8$ planar prototype array was fabricated and measured. The array is able to achieve 4:1 impedance bandwidth with active VSWR $lt/pgtlt3.1$ in the E-plane while scanning up to ±60° and active VSWR $lt/pgtlt3.0$ in the H-plane while scanning up to ±45°, respectively. Enough phasing range and nearlylinearly reflected phase curve benefit from the outer split square loop, which adds a resonantstructure and controls the reflected characteristic. The reflectarray is designed and simulated, which covers an aperture of $200 times200$ mm $^{2}$. The proposed reflectarray has a lower cross-polarization, and its simulated gain, side-lobe levels, and cross polarization levels are 24.7 dB, -15.8 dB, -35dB at the center 10 GHz respectively. Passive multibeam antennas fed by analog beamforming networks are used for handling multiple beams in the elevation plane simultaneous. The radiation beam steers horizontally by arranging the passive multibeam antennas in the azimuth plane and shifting the signal phases in a digital beamformer. Because of the implementing of a passive beamformer network, a large number of antenna elements are employed by less channels. The digital beamforming (DBF) processing is simplified the power consumption can be decreased. To verify the concept, a $4x8$ modified Butler matrix is adopted and implemented in the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) form with the 13.45% bandwidth at 26 GHz. An 8-beam antenna consists of two tapered slot antenna (TSA) arrays fed by the Butler matrixes which inclines ±5.5 orespectively to achieve high beam crossing levels and enlarge the scan coverage. Then, a 128-channel hybrid analog-digital multibeam receiver array module is fabricated by arranging 168-beam antennas. The measured results show that the scan coverage larger than $pm 45 circ $ in both azimuth and elevation planes. In order to improve the accuracy of the decoding results, an improved extended min-sum (EMS) algorithm is proposed in this paper. By adopting the feedback idea of joint iterative detection algorithm and introducing the reliability and stability parameters, the new algorithm can mitigate the influence of Log-likelihood ratio (LLR) oscillation on the decoding result and adjust the update information of the check node properly, thereby improving the decoding accuracy. This method can effectively restrain the LLR oscillation and speed up the convergence rate, thus the final decision result can be amended. The main contribution of this method is the reduced size of the UHF RFID tag compared to the readily available tags. The tag is developed by outlining a bowtie antenna with meandered lines. To test the effectiveness of the proposed method, CST simulations are carried out under various parameter changes such as the size, the shape of the bowtie, and the width of the meander line. CSSRR is etched in ground plane in the vicinity of microstrip and this combination provides UWB dual notch filter of 3.58 GHz bandwidth due to epsilon negative (ENG) behaviour of CSSRR. Truncating the symmetry of CSSRR by conductor, designed filter can be tuned to single notch at 6.64 GHz with fractional bandwidth of 34.48 % and Qfactor 44.26. Numerical calculations are performed using high frequency structure simulator and experimentally verified using vector network analyzer AV3672. Propagation measurements have been carried out in anechoic chamber. The effect of human body on $S_{11}$, $S_{21}$ and received power are analysed.
