We propose several schemes to optimize the secure sum-rate of the network including the optimal exhaustive search scheme (Best R) and other sub-optimal schemes including selecting the relay with the maximum of the minimum channel gain to two sources (MaxMin Gain) and a random relay (Random R) considering two modes of uniform and different jamming powers. Furthermore, to investigate the effect of number relays, we also analyzed secrecy rates based on three different schemes and two modes. Finally, the simulation results verify the properties and efficiency of the proposed scheme.","PeriodicalId":196900,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133861645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a new design for the signal-dependent adaptive kernel is proposed, which is robust with missing data. The method relies on the properties of chirps whose auto-terms only reside in a fixed half of the ambiguity domain. The important thing is that this half excludes the Doppler axis, where the chirps’ noise-like artifacts concentrate. By cutting out this region when performing the optimization problem, a better signal-dependent kernel for chirps is obtained, which efficiently suppresses not only the cross-terms but also the missing sample artifacts. Moreover, since any windowed non-stationary signals can be approximated as a sum of chirps, the proposed approach can be applied to other types of non-stationary signals. It is shown in the simulation that our method outperforms other reduced interference time-frequency distributions of incomplete observations.","PeriodicalId":196900,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127382367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a study on a fall detection system based on computer vision. This system is applied to help detect people falling in harsh working environment such as dust, loud noise, few people working. From the recorded video streams, the data is processed to recognize a person falling, lying motionless. Algorithms for tracking people are implemented on a compact, easy-to-install embedded system. Experimental results show that the system ensures safety and can provide emergency assistance to people who have fallen within the view of the camera.","PeriodicalId":196900,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133618506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Reaction Wheel Pendulum is a single-input, multiple-output (SIMO) nonlinear system. The state feedback controller is designed for this system by choosing the distribution of the solutions of the above characteristic polynomial in the solution space. This original distribution is optimized by the BAT algorithm through the ITAE objective function. The results of the synthetic control law are proven through simulation results and comparison with other control laws. Circular polarization is achieved by using a wide slotted S-shaped loop with diagonally trimmed edges, two separate mirrored U-shaped slots with feed location at the center of the conductive patch. Conductive oxide AgHT-8 is used as a feeding patch over a 1.48 mm thick transparent plexiglass substrate (εr = 2.3, tan δ = 0.000379). The antenna operates in the band spanning from 0.80 GHz - 1.05 GHz (~27.47%) with the axial ratio (AR) less than 3 dB within the same band. It has multiple applications in the military and finance, to name a few. In reality, sometimes we have to deal with sparse representation of the facial data. In this paper, to deal with sparsity, two advanced versions of Sparse PCA are developed, including Proximal Gradient Sparse PCA (PG Sparse PCA) and Fast Iterative Shrinkage-Thresholding Algorithm Sparse PCA (FISTA Sparse PCA). Then they will be respectively applied to solve the face recognition problem by considering their combination with nearest-neighbor method and with the kernel ridge regression method. Experimental results illustrate that the accuracies of PG Sparse PCA and FISTA Sparse PCA are equivalent in the combination with nearest-neighbor, while PG Sparse PCA performs better than FISTA Sparse PCA in the case of using kernel ridge regression. However, we recognize that the computing process of FISTA Sparse PCA, on average, is always faster than the PG sparse PCA version due to the use of a fast proximal gradient version.","PeriodicalId":196900,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124710189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed scheme is designed to operate in the full-duplex mode under an interference constraint of a primary receiver (PR). The exact closed-form expressions of outage probabilities are considered to evaluate the system performance. The results show that the secondary system performance increases as the number of reflected elements, the distances between PR and secondary sources, the maximum interference power-noise ratio at primary receivers (Q dB), and the maximum signal-noise ratio at the secondary sources (γ0 dB) increase. Moreover, if the value of the Q or the γ0 is large enough, the outage probabilities of the secondary network will fall into a saturation state. Finally, the Monte Carlo simulation results are collected to evidence the validity of the analytical expressions of the outage probabilities.","PeriodicalId":196900,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129559494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
