Further, a suitable data mining technique (e.g. clustering or association rule mining) will be applied to extract interesting and beneficial knowledge including hidden patterns from various sources related to the peacekeeping mission that is required by UNMO. The proposed system will be integrated into the rugged tablet or any pervasive equipment that is used for the peacekeeping operations. Here, the knowledge-based system can be used to assist the UNMO in decision-making when facing all possible scenarios while conducting the peacekeeping operations.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130797297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a challenge to identify and extract each aspect and it specific associated sentiment word correctly in the review sentence that consists of multiple aspects with various polarities expressed for multiple sentiments. By exploiting the dependency relation between words in a review, the multiple aspects and its corresponding sentiment can be identified. However, not all types of dependency relation patterns are able to extract candidate aspect and sentiment word pairs. In this paper, a preliminary study was performed on the performance of different type of dependency relation with different POS tag patterns in pre-extracting candidate aspect from customer review. The result contributes to the identification of the specific type dependency relation with it POS tag pattern that lead to high aspect extraction performance. The combination of these dependency relations offers a solution for single aspect single sentiment and multi aspect multi sentiment cases.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121950997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objectives are to review the existing information dissemination models, identify known factors influencing information dissemination process, and propose an information dissemination model for scholars on cryptocurrencies. The research questions are on why the epidemic models could be used for understanding cryptocurrencies, what are the known factors influencing the relevant information dissemination model, and how could information spreading model on cryptocurrencies work for scholars. We explored the epidemic models and their influencing factors on cryptocurrencies through a survey of literature. We found that the epidemic model can describe the information spreading for scholars on cryptocurrencies. We have added the activities triggering the S-I-E-R model.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"T159 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125660477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There has been increasing demand for active systems within Internet of Things, which can automatically react to events that come from various sources. Complex Event Processing (CEP) is an impressive technology that can deal with large amount of data from various sources depending on the consistency of data to generate exact result to process dynamic data in real-time. Thus, understanding existing CEP methods and tools is essential to develop a robust and effective CEP system. In this paper, we had briefly described about event processing, CEP with different engines and CEP for uncertainty. This paper reviewed CEP tools available in the market from 2010 to 2017. It has been found that there are many commercialized and open-source CEP tools in current market, where commercialized tools are used for business intelligence purpose and open-source tools are mostly used for academic purposes. Most of the available processing tools are Query-based and very few are working with Machine learning. There is a huge potential for further research in the use of Machine Learning in Complex Event Processing.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134048312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we applied Transfer Learning to the well-known AlexNet Convolution Neural Network (AlexNet CNN) for human recognition based on ear images. We adopted and fine-tuned AlexNet CNN to suit our problem domain. The last fully connected layer is replaced with another fully connected layer to recognize 10 classes instead of 1000 classes. Another Rectified Linear Unit (ReLU) layer is also added to improve the non-linear problem-solving ability of the network. To train the fine-tuned network, we allocate 250 ear images taken from 10 subjects for training, and 50 ear images are used for validation and testing. The proposed fine-tuned network works well in our application as we get 100% validation accuracy.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126021214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"An Automatic Image Tagging Based on Word Co-Occurrence Analysis","authors":"Ali Abdulraheem, Lailatul Qadri Zakaria","doi":"10.1109/INFRKM.2018.8464796","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/INFRKM.2018.8464796","url":null,"abstract":"with the expansion of the Social Web and the digital cameras, storage capacities are widening with hundreds of photos shared through these applications. Most of the Social Web applications allow users to describe their photos by using tagging approach. However, since the tagging is an optional process, most of these photos were left untagged or with insufficient tags. Hence, it is difficult to search and retrieve these photos. Therefore, in order to overcome this issue, our research aims to develop an automatic tag propagation tool, which will enrich an initial tag with other related tags by using the tag recommendation based on the word co-occurrence analyses. This includes Dice, Cosine and Mutual Information. This analysis enables the tool to identify and suggest utilization of related tags based on Word similarity. Our evaluation shows that Dice and Cosine provide better tags candidate to recommendation as compared to Mutual Information. Therefore, we have combined the results from both analyses to be a candidate list to support the automatic tag propagation.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131910901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are conducted by human beings who formulate ISDP team and makes them to be human oriented in nature. ISDP are knowledge intensive in nature and the knowledge that is required by members of ISDP team includes both tacit and explicit knowledge. The human beings which are part of ISDP team contribute and apply that knowledge within the ISDP. Knowledge have impact towards different issues such as ISDP team performance and ISDP team innovation, and those issues have influence on the outcome of ISDPs. It is essential for all the stakeholders of ISDP to understand the role of knowledge towards the outcome of ISDPs. In this study, the researchers review existing literature that focus on the role of knowledge towards the outcome of ISDPs. The results indicated that knowledge improves the performance of the entire ISDP team, innovation of ISDP team and contributes significantly towards delivery of a successful ISDP.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"24 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116589117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The extractive method in text summarization tends to include unnecessary sentences alongside the important ones during the sentence selection process, which affected the summary's coherent and readability. Most techniques in Sentence Compression relies on heavy syntactic knowledge and external resources to decide on the compression decision, but still fail short in preserving the informativeness of the summary. From the automatic and manual evaluation, the compressed summary produced by our MYTextSum model by referring to the discovered human sentence compression pattern named Frequent Eliminated Pattern (FASPe) has shown promising results with the improvement as high as 23.5% against the uncompressed summary method.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116778362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is used most especially by educational organizations for educational purposes anywhere and anytime via scalability and an approach that saves cost (pay-per-use). There are a number of problems faced by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) such as the growing need of infrastructure and IT, providing good and affordable educational services, increasing of participants, increasing education quality provision. Cloud Computing (CC) provides an excellent substitute for HEIs by supporting a reduction in cost, improvement in quality, through this means sustainability in education is obtained by providing good educational services. Recent research patterns on CC are directly focused on the applications, benefits, costs, technology, and security of CC. However, it was noticed that less empirical evidence and research focus is been given to the adoption of CC at an organization level. A model is proposed with a mapping matrix of its constructs based on the four dominant theories in the field of this adopted technology, the theories are: Technology-organization-environment (TOE) theory, The Fit-Viability Model (FVM), Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) Theory, and Institutional (INT) theory. Implications, potential contributions to research, and suggestions for future study are discussed.","PeriodicalId":196731,"journal":{"name":"2018 Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (CAMP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125338907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
