The accessible solutions to such queries also acquire prohibitive space consumption or are unable to give real time answers. As today's need is smart search from search engine not just what they query but relevant to query and similar to that query and where they actually find that product, place or person in real world. To provide such smart search results fast nearest neighbor search with keywords technique by using spatial inverted index (SI-index) has been proposed by researchers. This technique has great efficiency to provide results but processes huge data to fulfill queries. To overcome huge data pre-processing, proposed algorithm reduces no of objects processed by this technique to minimize the memory and processing cost. Proposed technique uses limits to fetch limited objects from the dataset or database. Experiments show great improvement of AFNNSK over FNNSK.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"375 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116520954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed regulator is trained using a reliable data set consisting of wide operating conditions generated by robust control technique. The designed AGC regulators combine advantage of LS-SVM and robust control technique to achieve desired level of performance for all admissible uncertainties and leads to a flexible regulator with simple structure, which can be useful under diverse operating conditions. A performance comparison between proposed LS-SVM, conventional PI and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) neural network based AGC regulators is carried out in a two-area power system under various operating conditions and load changes to show the superiority of the proposed control strategy.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132837807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estimated lifetime care cost for a quadriplegic patient is in excess of a million dollars which renders it difficult for a person to bear the finances of it. Existing devices to support and help a quadriplegic includes automated wheelchair. Though they solve the problem of mobility, they do not help them in carrying out other day to day activities successfully. They make use of brain signals or joystick to move the wheelchair bound person in and around places. The complexity and cost of such devices makes them unaffordable for most of the population around the world. The paper proposed here consists of an automated wheelchair along with a circuitry to control home appliances. It provides mobility to the wheelchair bound person based on the movement of an accelerometer chip connected to the headgear of the injured. A mechanism is provided to help them control the movements of a mouse pointer and extend the functionality of the developed system to help them operate a computer to a certain extent. This paper provides a much greater self-reliance, easy mobility, easy switching between different modes to control home appliances, mouse pointer, all based on the head movements of the affected person at a lower cost with a greater impact and effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132944312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These motors are generally controlled using a three phase power semiconductor bridge. For starting and providing proper commutation sequence to power devices in the inverter bridge, the detection of rotor position is required. The basic components involved in the BLDC control are BLDC motor, DSP Motion Kit and a PI controller which takes speed as a reference signal. The PI controller controls the modulation index of the inverter which in turn controls the input voltage to the BLDC. In this paper, it is proposed to carry out the mathematical modeling of BLDC, DSP Motion Kit, and the integration model in between Matlab and Hardware Kit. Different waveforms are applied for closed loop operation under both off load and on load conditions. The Simulation Results and Hardware Results are analyzed and compared.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"181 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134122970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, by business understanding, data understanding and data preparing, modeling and evaluating we get the results of the two algorithms and by comparing the results, we know that the two algorithms can both be applied in the customer membership card classification model and can obtain a quite accurate result. Then we introduce the application of this model. In classification tree modeling the data is classified to make predictions about new data. Using old data to predict new data has the danger of being too fitted on the old data. But that problem can be solved by pruning methods which decentralizes the modeled tree. This paper describes the use of classification trees and shows two methods of pruning them. An experiment has been set up using different kinds of classification tree algorithms with different pruning methods to test the performance of the algorithms and Pruning methods.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134251448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With increasing in the usability of distributed database security issues regarding it are also going to be more complex. M-privacy is a very effective technique which may be used to achieve security of distributed databases. Set-valued data provides huge opportunities for a variety of data mining tasks. Most of the present data publishing techniques for set-valued data are refers to horizontal division based privacy models. Differential privacy method is totally opposite to horizontal based privacy method; it provides higher privacy guarantee and it is also so vereign of an adversary's environment information and computational capability. Set-valued data have high dimensionality so not any single existing data publishing approach for differential privacy can be applied for both utility and scalability. This work provided detailed information about this new threat, and gave some assistance to resolve it. At the start we introduced the concept of m-privacy. This concept guarantees that the anonymous data will satisfies a given privacy check next to any group of up to m colluding data providers. After it we presented heuristic approach for exploiting the monotonicity of confidentiality constraints for proficiently inspecting m-privacy given a cluster of records. Next, we have presented a data provider-aware anonymization approach with adaptive m-privacy inspection strategies to guarantee high usefulness and m-privacy of anonymized data with effectiveness. Finally, we proposed secured multi-party calculation protocols for set valued data publishing with m-privacy.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114327275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The images captured by different sensors have different features. To analyze the earth surface images captured at different spectrums are used. In urban area characteristic of urban object are determined by not only their spectra but also by their structure. Various sensors captures the image at various spectrums knows as multispectral image but is with low spatial resolution. Some sensors captures the high resolution image also known as panchromatic image. Therefore it becomes very necessary and useful to fuse panchromatic and multispectral image to detect different area from the image easily. The fused image is multispectral image with high spatial resolution. The various methods of image fusion studied in this paper. Comparison of them is done is done statistically and visually and it is found that fused image is of greater quality and clarity than the original one and shows the features of that area more accurately.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114343881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Visualization in today's time is very effective for presenting essential information in vast amounts of data. Big-data discovery tools present new research opportunities to the graphics and visualization community. The size of the collected data about the Web and mobile device users is even greater. To provide the ability to make sense and maximize utilization of such vast amounts of data for knowledge discovery and decision making is crucial to scientific advancement; we need new tools beyond conventional data mining and statistical analysis. Visualization is a tool which is shown to be effective for gleaning insight in big data. Here we also discuss data cube that fits in a tablet or a smart phone memory, actually for billions of entrances; we call this information structure a nanocube. [13]. We present pseudo code to compute and query a nanocube [13], and show how it can be used to generate well-known visual encodings such as heat maps, histograms, and parallel coordinate plots. However, recent trends in current technology tend to make FPGAs less reliable. FPGA vendors have been moving down the same path of smaller device size as the rest of the semiconductor industry leading to electro migration problem and at the same time moving to larger and larger dies in order to deliver more logic gates to their customers inviting more opportunities for failure and bigger targets for gamma particles. Thus, there is a drive from the user community to improve reliability through some level of fault-tolerance. The homogeneous structure of Field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) suggests that the defect tolerance can be achieved by shifting the configuration data inside the FPGA. This paper presents a study, comparison, analysis and implementation of two available methods for swapping the configured data that is king shifting algorithm and horse shifting algorithm and further proposes a new algorithm to minimize the overall cost and improve the yield and performance parameters of system.","PeriodicalId":196504,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advances in Engineering & Technology Research (ICAETR - 2014)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115132926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
