Security attacks through listening in, disguising and altering and in numerous different structures is normal these days. The field of computerized steganography fixates on hiding data in advanced record designs. While the use of steganographic strategies comparable to image and sound documents has been broadly inquired about, examination into the utilization of other holder less stays constrained. The point of this undertaking is to investigate various techniques for safely encoding messages in a mixed media holder, using both the sound and video stream, and utilizing stegoanalysis to decide their adequacy. In this paper, structure a modified CNN-based stegoanalyzer for images got by applying steganography with a one of a kind inserting key. The proposed design implants less convolutions, with a lot bigger channels in the last convolutional layer, and is increasingly broad, it can manage bigger image and lower payloads.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133427184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The HEVC offers improved performance than the existing compression models. This work develops an approach for video compression by proposing weighted entropy coding and adaptive block search based Rate-Distortion (R-D) trade-off. A new R-D trade-off, named Taylor R-D trade-off, is designed using Taylor series. The adaptive block search algorithm is proposed for initiating the block search process of motion estimation in video coding by selecting the optimal block using the Hexagon Based Tree Search Algorithm (HBTSA), along with the Taylor R-D trade-off. Initially, the frames are extorted from the input video. Then, the video frames are divided into macroblocks to perform the adaptive block search. Further, the suitable blocks are selected and given to the encoding process by weighted Context-Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coding (CABAC) that employs a weighted entropy function to persist the video quality after the compression. The results evaluate that the proposed HBTSA method shows improved PSNR and SSIM using Football, coast guard, garden, and, tennis with values 42.717dB, and 0.991, respectively.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130774170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Virtualization on an embedded system on the onset itself is challenging due to the resource-constrained nature of embedded systems. The focus of this work is to create a virtual environment on an embedded system and thereby to run multiple VMs on the same hardware. This work also presents developing profiling tools for profiling applications on the above virtual machine (VM). As an outcome of this work, we could run multiple VMs on a microkernel-based virtual environment. We extended the functionality of L4Linux running on a microkernel-based virtual environment to support ‘perf’, the commonly used profiling tool in Linux. The experimental results show the accuracy of the tool to identify resource utilization on a virtual machine. This enables resource optimization and further possibilities for virtualization on embedded systems.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"30 24","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120997184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, IoT has great importance over the world. But power constraints, area constraints, security risks, and reliability issues are the major concern of IoT applications. The crypto core integrated with built-in-self-test architecture is mainly used for providing both data security and reliability requirements of the IoT application. Resource-constrained devices are mostly used in IoT applications, in the case of self-test architecture the basic problem is that its high hardware area overhead due to additional circuitry used for testing purposes. This work focuses on a novel technique for built-in-self-test architecture using crypto core. The lightweight PRESENT block cipher is used to overcome the data security issues in a resource-constrained environment. The proposed model incorporates both encryptions as well as decryption of the PRESENT cipher model by using an 80-bit key and 64-bit input data. The proposed design reduces hardware area overhead by using low cost and highly hardware efficient components like comparator and X-compactor, and also the self-test design reuses the crypto core as a Test Pattern Generator (TPG). The design is implemented in Xilinx ISE 14.7. The analysis of the proposed design gives less hardware area overhead, high throughput per slice, low power consumption, and high fault detection capability compared with the existing techniques. These analysis results indicate that the proposed design is suitable for testing resource-constrained IoT devices.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121177587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This data contains expression values of thousands of genes in the genome of an organism. However, this gene expression data is very high dimensional, one dimension each corresponding to one genes in the genome and very few of these genes are associated with a disease. At the same time, the number of samples or observations available is very small as compared to the number of features, also this data suffers from class imbalance. Therefore, the task of selecting the genes that are relevant to the disease being studies is an important task and being researched widely in the computational sciences. In this paper, we have proposed a randomized ensemble method for feature selection from cancer gene expression data using a combination of mutual information and recursive feature elimination. The approach has been applied on Leukemia gene expression dataset. We obtained a classification accuracy of 99% with a gene subset of size 316 genes and with a subset of size 4 the accuracy is 95%. Thus we achieved a dimensionality reduction of 98.5% with 99% accuracy. Comparison with standard methods shows that the proposed method performs better.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"149 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131074635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With this, the real time data flow over the network has increased and many algorithms are developed to prevent the congestion of the network. Most of the them are developed for TCP network and only few of them for UDP network. Moreover, these algorithms use programming languages such as Python, Java, etc. which has a vast variety of libraries. This paper highlights an algorithm implemented in C++, to control the bit rate of real-time video over UDP network. The streaming is accomplished with simultaneous execution of image streaming and audio steaming, hence realizing video streaming as a whole. The packets are sent into the network in a manner to attain the required bit rate, which is achieved by varying the size of the buffer at sending device. Total travel time of a single frame is estimated using timestamps and average travel time is calculated. Total travel time along with size of buffer together decides the bit rate. Additionally, required network delay is introduced with the help of timer. It is a simple and stand-alone media streaming process, with highly-reduced complexity. The main aim of the paper is to achieve programmable delay and variable bit rate enabled video streaming for space applications.","PeriodicalId":196343,"journal":{"name":"2020 Third International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Computers and Communications (ICAECC)","volume":"284 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132231139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the limited number of available IPv4 addresses and the exponential growth of the internet along with the number of number of connected devices to it, the development and deployment of its successor and next generation Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is moderately taking place in the internet.IPv6 gives us a very large address space, improved address design and security along with other advantages. However complete IPv4 deployment requires long haul and is a critical challenge which requires meticulous planning to avoid network breakdown. The migration from IPv4 to IPv6 cannot happen without delay and so these two protocols will exist side by side for quite some time. But these two are incompatible and hence different IPv4-to-IPv6 transition mechanisms have been proposed and developed. In our proposed work, we have experimented with the effects of IPv4 only interface, IPv6 only interface and Dual Stack interface mechanisms over IEEE wireless network standards of 802.11 ac,802.11n and 802.11g. The results are simulated and analysed using CISCO simulator software.
