Products from fusion centers often do not support the mission of the organizations supporting the centers. This paper addresses the questions of what are the historical barriers to information sharing, and how can fusion centers become more efficient and effective in this role? The research and experience of the authors are viewed through a Knowledge Management lens to propose using Structured Analytic Technique exercises coupled with applying knowledge management tools and concepts to improve knowledge flow and the relevance and quality of the intelligence products produced.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Indeed, a growing number of online platforms and virtual communities contribute to our society and economy by maximally sharing knowledge among numerous participants. Hence, it is necessary to understand the participation-motivation of knowledge sharing in various virtual communities. Using a sample of American virtual communities of interest, this study examines a model of knowledge sharing based on social capital theory and social cognitive theory. This research echoes prior studies with similar and even stronger evidence. Also, the results suggest a significant moderating effect of gender difference on knowledge sharing in virtual communities – when participants share a common language and vision.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. The measurement is essential in order to obtain the real value of intellectual capital and its influence on the profitability of the business. The measurement of structural capital value addition can be done directly or via the mediating effect of another component of intellectual capital, i.e. human capital or relational capital. Human capital has been selected as the mediating component for this study based on findings of previous studies that advocate its importance as a major determinant that enhances structural capital changes. This paper aims at measuring the influence of human capital as a mediating factor on the capacity of structural capital value addition for the period of 2002-2018, for Galicia (Spain) and Portugal.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. It analyzes how the center can improve efficiency and capacity by effective knowledge sharing (KS) that requires both information and communication technologies (ICT) and the conducive organizational cultures. The case study methodology was used to study the factors that influence KS in an academic environment. KS depends on the type of knowledge, motivation, and opportunity to share. The results show that both knowledge management systems and a conducive organizational culture are needed to implement an effective KS strategy. Thus, the study focuses on the emergent approach, i.e., focusing on interpersonal dynamics and the nature of their daily tasks, and engineering or management approach, i.e., focusing on the infrastructure of KS. This study shows how systematic and organized KS can help an organization offer continuing education services effectively and improve performance in the competitive marketplace.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Here, we have taken into consideration several important schemes/ programs of selected sectors pertaining to different Central Ministries/ Departments of Government of India and observed that proper Knowledge Management System (KMS) can be developed and implemented in such cases using ANN based soft computing input output model as an effective tool for the same. Further, we have analyzed how various input and output parameters (both physical and financial) associated with each such selected scheme/ program are related to each other in the light of their basic objectives and the way these can be appropriately represented by an ANN based soft computing input output model in which the expected outputs corresponding to certain inputs can be calculated/ estimated.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Existing research has conceptualized end users as being the only actors within such networks. Knowledge ties between actors have been treated as unidimensional. The actor-network theory emphasizes the role of all actors in influencing networking outcomes; hence, this study proposes an expanded multimodal social network that includes four institutionally mandated knowledge actors: the technology champions, the help desk, the service desk, and the shared inbox. Knowledge ties are treated as bidimensional through incorporating both technical and business process knowledge. Data collected from an enterprise resource planning system implementation validated this approach; end users sourced knowledge from other end users and the institutionally mandated network actors based on contextual requirements. End user performance outcomes were significantly associated with knowledge source and knowledge dimension.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Knowl. A questionnaire was distributed among knowledge workers in one of the leading telecommunication companies in the Sultanate of Oman. Based on the Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis of 100 responses from knowledge workers, results showed that technological motivators had significant effects on knowledge workers’ knowledge sharing through ESM. Further analysis based on the knowledge type indicated that technological motivators and organizational motivators significantly impact knowledge workers’ tacit knowledge sharing, whereas only technological motivators impact knowledge workers’ explicit knowledge sharing. This study provides decision makers with useful insights on the motivators of sharing knowledge through ESM and further advances knowledge workers’ learning and business operations, especially in under-investigated countries.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Research in IT for entrepreneurship is relatively new and there is a growing interest from academics for further studies on investigating this area of research. This study reviews research carried out in the domain of IT for entrepreneurship. A total of 1005 papers, published between 1980 and 2021 were used to uncover the latent topics addressed in this domain. A topic modeling (LDA) algorithm was used to automate the process of extracting the initial research topics from the data. The results show that IT for entrepreneurship studies are classified into six aspects of research: entrepreneurship initiative and innovation, strategy, business process management and operation management, entrepreneurship education, industry analysis, and business model. The results raise awareness of IT-associated entrepreneurship areas of research, provide useful insights for future research, and informs practice in this domain of study.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Indigenous knowledge is mainly preserved in the memories of elders and shared through oral communication and traditional practices. The question arises: How can knowledge generated in indigenous knowledge systems research be recovered and protected to benefit indigenous knowledge owners and accessible for future generations? The study utilised literature review to critically analyse the policy, protocols, and strategies relating to the protection and preservation of indigenous knowledge systems. Decolonial theory and knowledge ontology and modelling framework were also used as underpinning theories to guide the study. Recommendations suggest the need for decolonizing indigenous knowledge systems through collaborative approach with indigenous knowledge holders and their communities.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. Taking four dimensional attributes of guanxi—renqing (reciprocal favour exchange), mianzi (face), ganqing (emotional attachment), and xinren(trust) as the endogenous latent variables—this research established and empirically analyzed the structural equation model (SEM) of guanxi, knowledge sharing, and supply chain performance (SCP). Research found that renqing, mianzi, ganqing, and xinren have positive and significant effects on knowledge sharing, among which ganqing is the most significant factor, and renqing, mianzi, ganqing, and xinren have a positive impact on SCP through the mediating role of knowledge sharing. The influence mechanism of four dimension of guanxi on knowledge sharing and SCP and the influence of measurement variables on latent variable were analyzed. The results provide guidance for business decision making in the agricultural supply chain.","PeriodicalId":196147,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Knowl.
