The aim of this research is to improve the learning achievement of Catholic Education regarding the 10 Commandments as a Guideline for Life, where students' learning achievement is measured through the final comprehension test results on the material of the 10 Commandments as a Guideline for Life with a target of 70% mastery. This research adopts a quantitative approach, involving numerical data. The research process encompasses planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data presentation is done in the form of descriptions, graphs, tables, and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate a continuous improvement in students' learning achievement across each cycle phase. In the pre-cycle phase, the average student score was 53 with a passing percentage of 17%. In cycle I, students' learning achievement began to improve with an average score of 72 and a passing percentage of 67%. Finally, in cycle II, students' learning achievement further increased, resulting in an average score of 90 and a passing percentage of 100%. The research background reflects the complexity of educational challenges in Indonesia, focusing on academic issues and educational access disparities. A Center of Excellence School such as SMK Theresiana Semarang strives to address these challenges through the Merdeka Curriculum and a vocational education approach based on Christian values.The exploration of the causes of the problem highlights the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students. Self-concept understanding is influenced by internal and external factors, while the affective aspect, especially self-acceptance and meaningful life, affects motivation and self-confidence. Psychomotor challenges, such as reluctance to speak in public, are also related to a lack of strong self-acceptance.Recommendations for improvement involve a holistic approach, including emotional support, inclusive learning, wise social media management, and effective guidance. Improving self-acceptance is directed towards building a positive identity, stable self-esteem, and meaningful life motivation. The first pole is that reading acts as an important union since it can give moral values. One the other side, it is able to stimuli and produce the constructive and discontructive pollar. Learning process cannot be separated from reading activity, such as review the prior material or even the supporting materials. It is also needed to complish the assignment given. The problem may arise from the students’ interest. It is caused by the lack of the students’ comprehension including the mastery of vocabulary in order to fulfil the goal. Based on the reasons above, it is noted if reading is an important activity must be considered. In some aspects, there has been progress, but there are still many challenges that need to be overcome. In order to advance quality education in Indonesia, the government has implemented a curriculum development policy, namely the Independent Learning Curriculum. The Independent Learning Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning, where the content presented to students will be more optimal with the aim that students will have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. The Merdeka Curriculum also uses a project basis to strengthen the achievement of the Pancasila student profile. This project was developed based on a certain theme determined by the government. The Pancasila Student Profile is formed by six main dimensions, namely: Faith, noble character, and devotion to God Almighty, Independence, Cooperation, Global diversity, Critical reasoning, Creative. However, various challenges are experienced by educational practitioners in implementing this independent curriculum. One of them is regarding the use of learning models. Using the right method will influence the learning process and learning outcomes. One of them is the problem based learning model. This learning model is problem-based and learning orientation is a learning approach that focuses on students. In this model, the teacher acts as a facilitator or guide, who helps students to develop deeper understanding and relevant skills by motivating, stimulating questions, and supporting meaningful learning experiences. The aim of this research is to implement the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media in class II Phase A of St. Catholic Elementary School. Maria III Malang can improve learning outcomes and collaborative attitudes of students; increasing the collaborative attitude of students using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media in class II Phase A of St, Maria III Catholic Elementary School, Malang; and the target of achieving student learning outcomes can be successful by using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media in class II Phase A of St. Maria III Catholic Elementary School, Malang. The ability to think critically of students at SD Negeri 075021 Ombolata Salo'o is still relatively low, so that linearly student learning outcomes are low, therefore the existing problems will be tried to be overcome with a model. more interesting learning is PBL. This research aims to find out whether the application of the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Catholic Religion Learning process and whether the use of this model can also improve students' critical reasoning in Catholic religious learning. The method used is classroom action research with the variable being PBL learning to improve students' learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities. The findings in this research were that in the first cycle an average score of 74.76 or 66.66% was produced, there were still 2 students who had not progressed. In the second cycle the average score was 91.66 or 100% completion of learning outcomes for all students. In facing this challenge, classroom action research was carried out by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. This research aims to improve students' critical reasoning abilities and achieve the set learning targets. With quantitative methods, research was carried out through two cycles. The results of the first cycle showed an increase in students' critical reasoning by 73.5%, with a number of students reaching advanced and proficient levels. The second cycle showed significant improvement, with students' critical reasoning reaching 86%. Learning outcomes also increased, with more students reaching advanced levels. The subjects in this research were all 10 class XI students. In the initial conditions, the evaluation results of students who studied completely only reached 5 students (27.78%), while in the first cycle, there were 10 students who were able to study completely (55.56%). The criteria for complete learning are based on the grades achieved that have reached or exceeded the KKM (minimum completion criteria), namely ≥ 75 for Catholic religion and character subjects. In the second cycle, there were 10 students who were able to study completely (88.89%). The criteria for complete learning were based on the grades achieved by students who had reached or exceeded the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) at SMK NEGERI 1 RAYA for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. In summary, it can be concluded that the results of the second cycle from the aspect of participation and collaboration in groups in the learning process have been achieved at 88.89%.
