This paper presents experimental results regarding to the impact of the linear phase variations on the voice quality index. Speech files are played using different phases, and each audio transmitted is individually saved. Later, the original and the transmitted speech files are compared using a voice quality assessment metric. The results showed NIRS, an index of nervous system activity, to be significantly higher during searching tasks with 4K content than with 2K content, whereas LF/HF (level of sympathetic nerve activity) and blinking rates during the first half of the rest time after a set of tasks showed a tendency to be lower for 4K content than for 2K content. Moreover, the score for “visual fatigue” in subjective assessments tended to be lower for 4K content than for 2K content. In this paper, a modified independent component analysis (ICA) algorithm to remove MA is proposed. The proposed algorithm relies on the negentropy scores of the linear combinations of the signal data to achieve maximum statistical independence. This algorithm was tested on PPG signals recorded during fast running. The results of the experiments reveal that this algorithm is robust to MA present in the PPG signals. The fibers are interposed by deformer plates and the variations on light intensity due to microbending effect are correlated to the normal displacements, yielding 1.9 mm-1 sensitivity. Using the proposed positive feedback method, the dc-gain of the amplifier enhanced significantly. The simulation results for the designed OTA in a typical 0.35μm CMOS technology show more than 20dB dc-gain enhancement while bandwidth, output voltage swing range, and the phase margin characteristics are not affected to a great extent. Moreover, the possibility of reducing the broadcasting packages that will heavily consume power resources on nodes is extremely important. This paper studies the implementation of a modification in the epidemic algorithm, a direction-biased Gossip associated with a Quorum system applied into LAR routing protocol in a fault scenario of an ad-hoc network.
