There are scientifically effective recovery methods such as active recovery, cold water immersion and massage. Post-exercise photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) has showed equal to or better effects than other recovery methods. Most of the PBMT devices in Europe and America are mainly LED or high-power laser comprised of multiple wavelengths. NIR-PIT is realized its multidisciplinary method with the combination of the technologies in chemistry, biolody, pharmacology and physics. Presently, NIR-PIT is under the international phase III clinical trial against locoregional, recurrent head and neck SCC (HNSCC) (LUZERA-301, NCT03769506) with FDA fast track approval and expected to be clinically licensed in a few years. However, the precise mechanism of NIR-PIT is still unknown. We examined the possibility of the application of the phototherapy to recovering the over-reaching by transient training from the results of previous studies on phototherapy and exercise. Methods: The subjects of this study were nine of the adult female judoists. The subjects conducted the judo training of 2 hours 30 minutes as transient training. The investigation items were the body compositions, blood biochemistries, neutrophil functions, antioxidant functions. We measured these items before and after the training. Results and discussion: The transient training carried out by our subjects resulted in muscle damage, increased stress and inflammatory response, partly reduced immune function, increased the reactive oxygen species production.
