Ray tracing techniques are commonly used for calculating the path of an electromagnetic signal in a medium specified by a position dependent refractive index, such as the Earth's atmosphere. In this study three dimensional numerical ray tracing techniques are used to simulate GPS L-band signals received by the LEO satellites and primarily focusing on regions of increased electron density gradients such as the equatorial anomaly. The down range refractive gradients on the GPS to LEO signal paths will be investigated. The ionosphere is a birefringent medium due to the presence of the Earth's magnetic field. At first step of data processing of interference patterns the algorithm allows to retrieve the modulus of the reflection coefficient and then retrieve soil moisture and surface roughness of the soil. This method allows to not take into account information about the antenna pattern and height of GNSS antenna, and also excludes the impact of geodesic relief roughness. It is complex to identify all kinds of road damages in earthquakes. For the purpose of traffic capacity analysis, focusing on roads in good condition will simplify the problem, no matter how the roads are destroyed. The whole road line is provided by road network vector of appropriate scale. Subtract the good road and the damaged parts are clearly shown. This method can realize quantitative analysis on road seismic damage when lack of pre-earthquake images. These applications require highly accurate disparity. In particular, a kind of DEM generation system called narrow baseline stereovision system requires fine sub-pixel image matching method. This system is attractive because of its ability to avoid an occlusion problem. In this work, to improve the estimation accuracy, we extended phase correlation technique to multi-band image. This extension can ensure robustness to target scenes, so that global accuracy of estimated disparity can be improved. It is very significant for the urban micro-climate and environment to research the variation and analysis of land surface albedo. In this paper, the variation of land surface albedo in Beijing in recent ten years, the correlation of the albedo and underlying surface type, the correlation of the albedo and LST and NDVI were studied based on ETM+ data in 2010 and 1999. The conclusions of the paper are as followed: (1) The average albedo of second, third, fourth and fifth ring in Beijing were gradually increased. The albedo of Beijing area in 2010 reduced 0.0075 compared with 1999; the albedo of main city area within fifth ring road reduced 0.0108; the albedo of the area between third ring road and fourth ring was the biggest drop range area, and it reduced 0.0135; the albedo of the area without fifth ring was the smallest range area, it reduced 0.0048. (2) The average albedo of land cover types in order from high to low: new construction areas, farmland, bare land, woodland, villages, construction zone, paddy fields, water. The hypothesis was that the observed crack on the ice tongue must be filled with sea ice if completely broken. Although the recently published paper asserted that the ice tongue had been completely broken, we found that it is too early to come into the conclusion. To test the HJ-CCD data application results of inland water quality monitoring, we carried out a sampling experiment in Lake Taihu. When HJ-1 satellite passing, we obtained synchronously 30 samples of remote sensing reflectance spectra, the concentration of total suspended matter (TSM), transparency and turbidity data. Regression analyzing with 27 sampling stations of water quality parameter data and the water remote sensing reflectance obtained in Lake Taihu, we established the empirical retrieval models of concentrations of TSM, transparency and turbidity. Based on these models we obtained the TSM, transparency and turbidity distribution maps in Lake Taihu using the HJ-CCD image. Finally testing retrieval results with the reserved three sampling stations of the water surface quality parameters, the average relative error is less than 0.2.
