Migration of virtual machines has proved to be a useful tool to reduce the number of dropped client requests and to facilitate system maintenance at a large scale. Clients share the same instance of an infrastructure although given an abstraction of separate instances through the concept of multitenancy. Multitenancy and virtual machine migration are being used in the cloud service provider's side for system maintenance and to improve the overall QoS of the system. Although this considers QoS at a system level, each client is provided with the same level of QoS unless and until he has explicitly paid for it. We propose an architecture which intends to provide better QoS for high paying customers, while compromising the same for low paying customers. The available infrastructure is provided to clients in a biased manner so that clients who pay more are more satisfied and are encouraged to subscribe to the service longer. Current E-Learning systems provide content to the students as a whole, needing effort from the students to identify, discriminate and classify contents to be covered for particular topics. In this paper, a Learning Management System (LMS) is presented that provides students with electronic materials and supporting tools to inculcate Self-regulated Learning by the way of providing an environment to learn a programming language. The course contents of language are dynamically provided to the students appropriate to the level of knowledge acquired using Adaptive Learning Objects (ALOB). Students learn the contents to achieve the goal set by the teacher at the start of each level. Students monitor their learning process using a set of tools provided by the system and manage their time, effort and reading being spent in learning the provided content. Students assess their knowledge and take suitable corrective actions when required. The system is implemented as web services and made accessible anywhere, anytime by deploying it over a cloud. This paper describes a fast algorithm based on Normalized Cross Correlation for real time target tracking in a video sequence. The Normalized Cross Correlation is efficiently implemented in practice with the concept of Box Filtering and Integral Image to eliminate redundant computations. But NCC-BF and NCC-II still have lot of redundancies in exhaustive template matching process. This paper proposes an upper bound criteria called as Early Elimination Condition, which states that the calculated optimum correlation score at current position is lower than the maximum correlation score obtained in previous position. This condition accelerates the matching process. In this paper, it has been proved that if this condition is verified, then the template can proceed with next reference position without executing the rest of operations in current position. Hence, the redundancy in NCC based object tracking can be efficiently reduced by our proposed elimination condition described in this paper. These web services are needed to be adopted in the mobile environment so that it allows access of information whenever and where ever the user needs it. The usability has to be enhanced for the users when the invocation of the web service can be done with ease of use. A successful execution of the web service is dependent on the web application and the kind of the mobile device used to invoke and also the mobile network environment. In this paper we propose information availability metrics to quantify the availability of the web services to be deployed in mobile devices. These metrics helps to evaluate the total availability of the information through the smaller devices like the cell phones. While the cognitive radio is supposed to be aware of its surrounding, existing works do not consider the characteristics of secondary users to find the optimal sensing period. In this paper, a hybrid sensing method is presented that finds the optimal sensing period according to the characteristics of both primary and secondary users. Based on a continuous time Markov chain model, the proposed method adaptively varies its parameters to avoid unnecessary sensing tasks. In addition, the proposed method guarantees the priority of licensed users and spectrum opportunities to be discovered by cognitive users. Finally, the hybrid method is compared with a non-hybrid technique. But, if the communication pattern is changed, decisions taken at design time (say buffer size) may result in large area and power consumption or higher latency. Using large buffers to guarantee performance leads to excessive power dissipation. Small buffers reduce power consumption but result in increase in latency. The purpose of the proposed work is to design a heterogeneous router where the buffer slots are dynamically assigned to improve the performance, under different communication needs in fault-tolerant adaptive NoC applications. In the proposed router, buffer slots can dynamically be re-allocated for various applications to improve performance. Reallocation is based on the number of hotspots using EBLA (Extended Buffer Loan Algorithm). By introducing oversized IPs (OIPs), regular mesh-based NoC architecture may be destroyed. Resulting mesh-based NoC becomes irregular and needs new routing algorithms to solve routing problems in case of faulty links. Data replication is generally used to improve the data availability, reduce data access delay and network traffic. Global Replica Management (GRM) is the method to preserve the replica consistent all through the network which is much required in major email, file hosting servers and in collaborative work environments. But GRM is not encouraging for many internet applications, since it increases the network traffic because of large number of message exchanges. In this paper, we have developed a comprehensive pseudo-code based algorithm for GRM in a tree structured P2P network. It consists of an externally worn speech processor and an internal receiver stimulator. The cochlear implant is patient specific and system specific and so in the current work, a lab model for the speech processor, based on various vocoder models is designed to analyse the effect of system specific parameters such as filter bandwidth, number of channels and vocal excitation, on the speech intelligibility. Initially a formant vocoder is designed and used in the analysis and synthesis of English vowels. A channel vocoder is then developed for the same and extended to perform the analysis and synthesis of words from the Lexical Neighbourhood Test and sentences from the TIMIT database. The effect of number of channels on the synthetic speech quality is analysed and a 21-channel vocoder is found to yield the best response with a mean opinion score (MOS) of 4 out of 5 for vowels and 3.4 for sentences. The formant trajectories and CosH distance are also used to validate the speech intelligibility. Asymmetric T coil peaking is used to provide wide bandwidth over the entire UWB range. Inductive source degeneration has been utilized in order to obtain a wide input matching and low noise figure. AI has been employed because of its low area, tunable inductance and high quality factor when compared with their spiral counterparts. The proposed LNA is designed using 90nm CMOS technology. This LNA achieves power gain (S21) greater than 17dB throughout the UWB spectrum providing a maximum gain of 21dB at 5.5GHz with 3-dB bandwidth of 3.5 - 11 GHz. The input matching (S11) and output matching (S22) are kept well below -12 dB and -8dB respectively, while the reverse isolation (S12) is less than -46 dB. So it is essential to organize cloud systems that complement each other such as to procure resources from other participating cloud systems. However, it is difficult to provide the right resources from various cloud providers because management policies and descriptions about various resources are different in each organization. Having these differences, it is hard to provide interoperability among them. Representing cloud environment through ontology can conceptualize common attribute among the various resources semantically.
