At present image processing and pattern recognition are not robust enough to automate the image interpretation system feasible. For this reason we have to develop image interpretation systems that rely on human guidance. More importantly road maps require final checking by a human due to the legal implementations of error. Our proposed technique is applied to Indian Remote Sensing and IKONOS satellite images using Unscented Particle Filter. Unscented particle filter is used for tracing the median axis of the single road segment. The Extended Kalman Filter is probably the most widely used estimation algorithm for road tracking. However, more than 35 years of experience in the estimation community has shown that is difficult to implement and is difficult to tune. To overcome this limitation, Unscented particle filter is introduced in road tracking which is more accurate, easier to implement, and uses the same order of calculations as linearization. The principles and algorithm of unscented kalman filter and unscented particle filter were also discussed. The core of our system is based on profile matching. Unscented Particle filter traces the road beyond obstacles and tries to find the continuation of the road finding all road branches initializing at the road junction. In this paper, we first apply `Consensus Regularization' based algorithm to merge multiple source domain to a single source domain. Then we propose multi-domain adaptation in document clustering using Seeds affinity propagation and Consensus Regularization Algorithm. A semi-supervised document clustering algorithm, called Seeds Affinity Propagation (SAP) is applied based on an effective clustering algorithm Affinity Propagation (AP). The labeled and unlabeled documents are preprocessed through various processes such as stop words removal, word stemming and finding word frequency and given as the input. After pre-processing, structured documents are obtained. Tri-set Computation, a feature extraction technique is used to find out the features through Co-feature set, Unilateral feature set and Significant Co-feature set methods. Then calculate the similarity measure of the documents and assigning the label to the documents if they are matched. Finally clustered documents are obtained through seeds affinity propagation via similarity measurement. Such falls often leads to injury and death in elderly. Hence, an automated fall detection mechanism using multiple sensing and event detection methods are required to analyze the activities of elderly. This paper presents a system considering 3-axis accelerometer sensor to detect the fall in home environment. Intelligent modeling technique such as ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) classifier is employed in this paper to detect the fall with reduced computational complexity and more accuracy. Using ANFIS, the data obtained from 3-axis accelerometer is classified under one of the five states (standing, sitting, walking, falling and lying) and backpropogation method is used for weight updation. Weighted average method which provides crisp value is used for de-fuzzification process. Features such as mean, median and standard deviation are considered for training the neural network. The Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) propagates its state estimate and covariance through unscented transform without any need of linearization. The Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) algorithm obtains its estimate by combining the individual estimate from a number of parallel filters matched to different motion models of the vehicle. This paper adopts the Unscented Two Filter Smoother to the IMM algorithm to increase the navigation estimation accuracy. Path loss, Vegetation water content and corresponding Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) values were deduced from the measured RSS from various positions in foliage environments using unit gain omnidirectional antennas at 1m height from the ground. Empirical foliage loss prediction models such as Cost 235, ITU-R and Weissberger models were compared with the experimental results. Effective and efficient scheduling of resources in grid is fundamentally important. To optimize the scheduling of tasks to suitable resources in computational grids, a Multi Criterion Ant Colony Optimization (MCACO) Algorithm is proposed. In many of the various power saving protocols the sensor nodes will be put into sleep state when there is no transmission. These protocols do not change the awake and sleep time of the node according to its traffic load. This periodic and regular sleep and awake method of these protocols cause high latency and high energy consumption. If a host is not involved in power management it will be allowed to sleep. Therefore, to efficiently manage a sensor node's energy, there should be a power saving mechanism which also guarantees successful transmission. The sensor nodes have to wake up based on the packets that are pending in the buffer. A homogenous wakeup schedule and power management scheme is proposed to reduce the energy consumed in idle state for wireless sensor networks. This scheme consists of two algorithms namely power management and wakeup schedule algorithm. In wake up schedule algorithm each sensor node selects its own wake up time intervals based on its pending packets. This feature is very essential for resource-constrained devices. In mobile cloud computing, it is sufficient that the device be a thin client i.e. which concentrates solely on providing a graphical user interface to the end-user and the processing is done in the cloud. We focus on adaptive display virtualization where the display updates are computed in advance using synchronization techniques and classifying the job as computationally intensive or not based on the complexity of the program and the interaction pattern. Based on application, the next possible key-press is identified and those particular frames are pre-fetched into the local buffer. Based on these two factors, a decision is then made whether to execute the job locally or in the cloud or whether we must take the next frame from the local buffer or pull it from server. Jobs requiring greater interaction are executed locally in the mobile to reduce interaction delay. If a job is to be executed in the cloud, then the results of the processing alone are sent via the network to the device. The IEEE 802.16 standard provides the specification for WiMAX technology. The IEEE 802.16 provides QOS support, but it does not specify the details of how the QOS can be achieved for different types of applications. Bandwidth scheduling is one method by which the QOS requirements can be met. The amount of bandwidth allocated to different application depends on the type of scheduling algorithm implemented at the Base station and Subscriber station. Different vendors implement this scheduling architecture in their own way. The scheduling algorithm should be efficient. Lot of parameters like number of subscribers, upper bound on delay, jitter and bandwidth etc should be considered. This paper presents a survey of simple uplink scheduling algorithms for WiMAX. We have also carried out a simulation study of BE scheduling service on the uplink. However, composing existing web services automatically and dynamically according to user's request is a difficult task. But this can be achieved by adding the semantics to a service which can be done with the help of ontologies. In order to effectively utilize a composite service, the users require a convenient user friendly interface to invoke services which is natural language interface. But there are some issues like ambiguity of natural language expressions, handling negative sentences in user request. The proposed work aims to parse the user request and the extracted keywords are mapped to the ontology.
