The usability has to be enhanced for the users when the invocation of the web service can be done with ease of use. A successful execution of the web service is dependent on the web application and the kind of the mobile device used to invoke and also the mobile network environment. In this paper we propose information availability metrics to quantify the availability of the web services to be deployed in mobile devices. These metrics helps to evaluate the total availability of the information through the smaller devices like the cell phones.
