Nowadays SLM is used in various industrial domains including aerospace, automotive, electronic, chemical and biomedical, as well as other high-tech areas. Industrial interest is focussed on manufacturing of fully functional objects with high geometrical complexity and excellent mechanical properties. Properties of the manufactured parts depend strongly on each single laser-melted track and each single layer, as well as the strength of the connections between them.","PeriodicalId":191027,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference Laser Optics","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132523122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
