Abstract
Multilayer structures which can be considered as one-dimensional photonic crystals are very promising in the context of low-threshold nonlinear optical devices. That generally takes place by the two reasons: local multiple enhancing of optical field in crystal defects and sharp spectral characteristics of such structures.
