This model defines relations very similar to those existing in natural language and reasoning, like “on the left side of the image”, “in the center of the image”, “right/left of”, “above/below of”, “(very) close to”, “(very) far from”, “at distance of”, etc. Composition operators and, or, not and subtract are defined in order to combine these basic fuzzy spatial relations into more complex ones. In addition, formula for calculating membership value of imprecise region to fuzzy spatial relation is defined. This is not affecting the practical session, in the contrary enhancing and complementing it. The Obudai University's strength lies in the practical approach to teaching and its collaborations with independent companies. For 2012-2013 second half term we arranged an agreement with the Design Soft directory, a leading company in software teaching and learning. This agreement secured access for our students to TINACloud software for our long distance students. General inverse kinematics schemes are based on the Jacobian of the forward kinematics map of the manipulator, that becomes ill-conditioned in singular configurations, causing numerical instability and loss of direction of motion. This work proposes a method, that regularizes the Jacobian in the case of singularities in the inverse positioning problem. The Jacobian regularization is based on transforming the acting point of the motion generators of the robot. The main dynamics characteristics of such actuator were obtained by model simulation, as for example muscle force change, pressure change in muscle, arm position of the actuator. The accuracy provided by such sensors is generally unsatisfactory for many robotic applications, but it may be improved through calibration. This paper presents a calibration case study that is based on the sensor calibration procedure involving only a use of a simple checkerboard. It is shown that the calibration enables improving sensor accuracy 3 to 5 times, depending on the anticipated use of the sensor. The project aims to provide a whole new approach to searching geographical and related data on the Internet. RegionRank is a map service based web application. It generates results for queries containing multiple criteria and displays these results on a heatmap. In this way, the user can easily select the areas which are the best match for the given query. The user can choose from multiple aspects to build the query, and there is a possibility for setting the importance of these aspects by associating different weight values to each corresponding criterion. A significant difference between RegionRank and other map-based web applications is that it extends the concept of POI (Point of Interest) and introduces the ROI (Region of Interest) concept. In this way not only points, but also regions can be defined and searched by the application. Furthermore, in the framework of the application there is a possibility for using the classical searching approach and data representation. The ROIs can be visualized on the map and clustering algorithms will be used for view optimization. Methods of aspect-based sentiment analysis built on machine learning usually depend on manually annotated training corpora. In order to facilitate the processes of their creation, annotation tools dedicated to this purpose are needed. In this work we proposed a semi-automatic annotation tool which uses active learning to increase the effectiveness of the documents annotation. The use of active learning adapted to the needs of aspect-based sentiment analysis is the main difference between the proposed solution and existing annotation tools. We applied it in the domain of hotels evaluations.
