A rescue robot should be able to be navigated to multiple goals. In this paper, a multi-goal navigation and mapping solution is found by simulated annealing (SA) based multi-goal navigation integrated a local navigator. The robot is guided by SA-based multi-goal route planner to search for multiple goals. Among goals, the robot is navigated by point-topoint global path planner and sensor-based local navigator while a local map is constructed gradually by exploring the unknown terrain. In the proposed method, the real-time signal is pre-processed by five main steps:(1) down sampling to reduce the computation complexity; (2) three-order auto-correlation operation to compute the degree of correlation of the electrocardiogram; (3) finding two maximal values in the definite window size; (4) recording every maximal value's position and amplitude; (5) analysing the relationship between every maximum's position and amplitude. Finally, according to the judgment rules, the quality of electro-cardiosignal is obtained. The theory of the proposed algorithm is proved based on the mathematics theory, and testified by the three real-time electrocardiosignal coming from the dry electrodes, which are the signal approximately with least noise, the signal with partial noise, and the signal with full bandwidth noise. The whole computation complexity is O(n2). The result shows this method can provide a better discrimination between noise and other signal.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134086986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it is difficult to find distinctive landmarks for effective visual navigation due to the similar and textureless terrains on the lunar surface. In this paper, a novel algorithm is proposed to solve such a problem. Firstly, the local invariant features extract. Next, an improved density cluster technology employed is to initial landmark patches. Finally, we choose the most distinctive and robust patch by optimizing an objective function. For meeting the real time requirement, we also design an effective strategy to reduce the number of local invariant features. The proposed method evaluates in the lunar surface map with 50 meters accuracy. The experimental results exhibit satisfactory performance in terms of matching accuracy.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126592629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the randomized algorithm is modified by the deep learning method. There are multiple hidden layers, and the hidden weights are decided by the input data and modified restricted Boltzmann machines. The output weights are trained by normal randomized algorithms. In order to acquire ear's 3D information as well as reserve its non-contact advantage, 3D reconstruction using 2D images can be a promising way. However ear is a small object with abundant structure information, which makes the 3D shape estimating a challenge problem. An improved sophisticated 3D ear reconstruction method based on 3D ear morphable model is demonstrated. We propose a novel ear contour feature points extraction method based on the automatically detection of ear contour which combines both intensity and depth image. Abundant experiment results show that more realistic 3D ear sample with smooth contour can be generated using the automatically detected feature points, not to mention it can greatly reduce the workload. After statistical model training and model fitting based on sparse points, the reconstruction accuracy is discussed. This is the first 3D ear reconstruction work which demonstrates the reconstruction accuracy quantitatively. Abundant experiment results show the efficiency of our proposed method.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"163 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133255016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To start, the coupled dynamic model of satellite and MSGMW is defined and simplified based on the fact that the attitude errors are small during the mission mode that the MSGMW services. In order to improve the dynamic performance, reduce the steady state error and avoid the chattering phenomenon, a modified integral chattering-free sliding mode controller with a nonlinear integral function and a saturation function is introduced. Lyapunov theory is employed to prove the convergence characteristic outside the boundary layer and the terminal convergence characteristic inside the boundary layer. A numerical simulation example is employed to show the effectiveness and suitability of the proposed controller.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115546880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study proposes a method for evaluating the effect of infrared objective stealth based on Vega software combined with image feature point matching technique. Vega software is used to simulate a group of infrared images before and after target stealth. Afterwards, feature points are acquired from the target images. Hausdorff distance between feature points is then calculated to quantify similarity between target before and after stealth. Experimental data show that a larger Hausdorff distance corresponds with decreased similarity between target before and after stealth, which proves better stealth effect.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124577018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless people supported this rule while fail to be aware that it may not have perfect performance in certain aspects. This paper modeled driving rules and discussed performances. We construct an overtaking model and a non-changing lane driving model to illustrate the right-lane driving rule. Computer simulations are employed respectively in light and heavy traffic to show the traffic procedure under these rules. An evaluation model is constructed to measure the traffic flow and safety based on the vehicle number, time of brakes, overtaking and car accident from the simulation data. The evaluation results demonstrated that traffic flow and safety are existence of contradictions. High traffic flow inevitably leads to low safety and vice versa. In order to address the problem, an alternative called free-lane driving rule in intelligence system is built. Under the intelligent system, all the distance and speed are automatic control. Additionally we set up fast traffic lane and slow traffic lane. Computer simulation indicates that performance under intelligence system has a significant progress.","PeriodicalId":186975,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117263241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
