Reviews from previous customers offer a wealth of information about products, allowing shoppers to make pre-purchase product evaluations. Positive reviews are beneficial for a business because they can improve its reputation, attract new customers, and increase sales and profitability. Negative reviews impact businesses adversely but are just as important as a five-star rating. They provide opportunities to correct the issues to show potential clients that their opinions are cared for. Online reviews for hotels can be found on various websites. These opinions shared on social media platforms can shape the public's perception of the hotel. By using sentiment analysis and machine learning algorithms on existing hotel reviews, we create a classification system that can identify what the customer post on a hotel's website and thinks about the hotel. Logistic regression and Support Vector Machines (SVMs) were chosen as the classification algorithms. The classifiers are analyzed based on three criteria: accuracy, precision, and recall. The classifier with the best performance metrics is labelled the algorithm most suited for classifying hotel reviews.","PeriodicalId":186440,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Smart Structures and Systems (ICSSS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127818551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order for power networks to be stable, they must be able to satisfy electrical demand on a regular basis, which demands both parties' planning and communication. In order to improve grid stability, security, and efficiency, electric power generation and supply must evolve. By allowing information flow in both directions and active participation from all linked parties, the smart grid (SG) idea makes the future generation power network smarter and more intelligent. Concerns about electric sustainability, energy security, and economic growth require the development of new technologies. of a coordinating a heuristic-based approach for limiting energy use and improving system resilience during outages or peak periods. Demand management systems are used to accomplish this.","PeriodicalId":186440,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Smart Structures and Systems (ICSSS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128961531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most convenient renewable energy is solar power. Gradually the world is developing and upgrading with technology. In our daily life, we can use solar power in a smart manner so that we can reduce the consumption of other non-renewable sources. So solar energy is a great choice if we can continuously monitor it and also proper maintenance is needed. In many rural areas where high exposure to the sun is present, we install solar plants but proper monitoring and maintenance of these plants physically is difficult. In these conditions, we need remote monitoring. In this project, I am proposing a raspberry pi based solar inverter which uses the Internet of Things to monitor the solar power system remotely from anywhere in the world. The communication then takes over through the Blynk server to the Blynk mobile application where we can see real-time data of the system.","PeriodicalId":186440,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Smart Structures and Systems (ICSSS)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115842118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also, to study the influence of advanced enforcement of social distancing in Spain against the actual date of 14th March 2020. Computational models were developed (with Python programming) using data collected by web crawling using RCrawl using R-programming. The model predicted total cases and total deaths under the given conditions of advanced social distancing in 6 previous dates. Also, this model made a forecast of total cases and total deaths for the month of May. Results suggested that by 15th May 2020, the total cases may reach 337672. If the lockdown was imposed 6 days earlier the cases would be a mere 43083 only. Also, the total deaths will be reduced 82% effectively if the lockdown was imposed 6 days earlier. It can be concluded from the results, that enforcement of social distancing at the earlier stage of any pandemic disease spread is the only effective way to reduce the risk and contain the disaster.","PeriodicalId":186440,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Smart Structures and Systems (ICSSS)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127716351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rising count in patients and hospital priorities, as well as the difficulty in obtaining medical specialists, could make such a diagnosis challenging[2]. The current study provides a technique for detecting anaemia in clinical settings. We use CBC (complete blood count) data obtained from pathology centres to examine supervised machine learning techniques - Naive Bayes, LR, LASSO, and ES algorithm for prediction of anaemia[1].
