Thus, they have the potential to be used as main ingredients in the manufacture of botanical pesticides. The teamwork program of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri University formulated both ingredients to produce biopesticide suitable for common pests on shallot plant. It was hoped that the information and knowledge can be spread to the community, particularly shallot farmers, to be able to process natural ingredients for botanical pesticides. The farmers are always constrained by armyworm attacks on their plants. Community service was carried out to educate and socialize the production of the biopesticide at residents' homes in Sanggrahan Village, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency, East Java Province. The main target of this program was the shallot farming community in the area. Several implementation stages included lectures, training on making pesticides, producing biopesticides, making leaflets, evaluating, and assisting the results of application of biopesticides. The community service activity was carried out smoothly and the community was enthusiast to take part in the activitySerai dan cengkeh memiliki kandungan minyak atsiri yang bersifat beracun, sehinga berpotensi sebagai bioaktivitas terhadap serangan hama. Disisi lain, serai dan cengkeh memiliki potensi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan alam dalam pembuatan pestisida nabati. Melalui program kerja tim pengabdian fakultas pertanian Universitas Kadiri, diharapkan masyarakat mampu mengolah bahan alami untuk pestisida nabati. Program ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengatasi para petani bawang merah yang setiap musim tanam selalu terkendala dengan serangan hama ulat grayak. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di rumah warga di Desa Sanggrahan, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Nganjuk, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Sementara itu, sasaran pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat petani bawang merah di Desa Sanggrahan. Beberapa tahapan pelaksanaan diataranya adalah ceramah, pelatihan pembuatan pestisida, memproduksi pestisida nabati, membuat leaflet, dan pendampingan dalam implementasi hasil pembuatan pestisida nabati. Corncob waste can be used as briquettes, an alternative fuel, and can reduce environmental pollution from fossil fuels. This information motivates the team from Kadiri University to carry out community service activities. This community service activity was carried out by making briquettes from corncob waste simple. Therefore, it can be practiced by residents of Ngampel Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency. The first agenda of this activity were preparation, demonstration followed by practice, and ending with activity evaluation. The preparation stage was performed by making a video tutorial for making briquettes from corncob. At this stage, socialization with the target community was also carried out. The next activity was the demonstration and practice stage, implementing strict health protocols. The end of this activity was by evaluating the activity. The majority of residents were satisfied with this activity. They also opined that this activity could be sustainable with good management. The activity made it possible for corncob waste in the environment to decrease gradually.Sisa dari jagung yang sudah dilakukan pemipilan atau yang disebut bonggol jagung tergolong sebagai sumber biomassa, akan tetapi masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Limbah bonggol jagung sebenarnya dapat digunakan sebagai briket dan bisa menjadi alternatif bahan bakar, serta dapat mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan dari bahan bakar fosil. Hal ini menjadi motivasi bagi tim pengabdian dari Universitas Kadiri untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara membuat briket dari limbah bonggol jagung dengan cara yang sederhana. Sehingga bisa dipraktekan oleh warga Desa Ngampel Kecamatan Papar Kabupaten Kediri. Agenda pertama kegiatan ini adalah persiapan, demonstrasi yang dilanjutkan dengan praktik serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi kegiatan. Tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan membuat video tutorial pembuatan briket dari bonggol jagung. Pada tahap ini juga dilakukan sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat sasaran. Berikutnya adalah tahap demonstrasi dan praktik, dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan yang ketat. Akhir dari kegiatan ini yaitu dengan melakukan evaluasi kegiatan, mayoritas warga puas dengan kegiatan ini. Mereka juga berpendapat, apabila kegiatan ini bisa berkelanjutan serta adanya manajemen yang baik. Limbah bonggol jagung di lingkungan tersebut lambat laun akan berkurang. Lime farming in the area has been proven to increase the income of farmers and the surrounding community. This potential requires more support to be used as a superior village product with added value for increasing farmers' income and community welfare. Community service activities were conducted at the location through training methods, especially community participatory, with the hope that the participants could implement the results of the training. The activities were carried out three times based on the products made from lime. The first training was the manufacture of hand sanitizer products, followed by training on making aromatherapy candles and instant powder drinks on another predetermined day. The participating communities had the opportunity to take home the products from the training as souvenirs as well as a reminder for them to apply the training activities by producing the three products. The Bolo Village community service activity in the future is faced with product development and quality, as well as assistance on the legality of community businesses. Desa Bolo di Kecamatan Ujungpangkah, Kabupaten Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur terkenal sebagai penghasil jeruk nipis berkualitas baik. Usahatani jeruk nipis terbukti dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan masyarakat sekitar. Potensi ini memerlukan dukungan untuk dapat dijadikan produk unggulan desa dengan nilai tambah demi peningkatan pendapatan petani dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di lokasi melalui metode pelatihan, terkhusus community participatory, dengan harapan masyarakat peserta dapat mengimplementasikan hasil pelatihan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dalam 3 waktu berdasarkan produk yang dihasilkan berbahan baku jeruk nipis. Pelatihan pertama adalah pembuatan produk hand sanitizer, dilanjutkan pelatihan pembuatan lilin aromatherapy dan minuman serbuk instan di hari lain yang telah ditentukan. Masyarakat peserta antusias dalam kegiatan pelatihan. Mereka berkesempatan membawa pulang produk hasil pelatihan sebagai cenderamata sekaligus pengingat bagi mereka untuk benar-benar mengaplikasikan kegiatan pelatihan dengan menghasilkan ketiga produk berbahan baku jeruk nipis tersebut. For this reason, additional training is needed for the younger generation in the community. The activity can be carried out in collaboration with various parties, namely with related educational institutions and community organizations such as Dasa Wisma, one of the smallest community organizations. The purpose of the activity was to improve the ability of housewives and young women to make brownies and cookies with the ingredients of purple sweet potato flour substitution so that they are able to develop their abilities as independent business people that can be run from home. The benefits for the participants included the knowledge and skills in processing purple sweet potato into purple sweet potato flour to then be processed into cakes and cookies. The training also inspired the participants the processing purple sweet potato flour into other products such as pudding, cookies, sponge rolls, and others. Peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat dapat berawal dari peningkatan skill sumber daya manusia sejak dini. Untuk itu, perlu adanya pelatihan tambahan kepada generasi muda di masyarakat. Kegiatan tersebut bisa dilakukan dengan adanya kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak yaitu dengan institusi pendidikan terkait maupun dengan wadah organisasi masyarakat yaitu Dasa Wisma sebagai salah satu organisasi kemasyarakatan terkecil. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memperdalam keterampilan ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri untuk membuat brownies dan cookies dengan substitusi tepung ubi jalar ungu sehingga mampu mengembangkan kemampuannya tersebut sebagai salah satu usaha mandiri yang dapat dijalankan dari rumah. It aims to maintain the sustainability and balance of nature for the sustainability of life from generation to generation. The realization of an ecological village is not without technology and mechanization, but it is adjusted to local needs and conditions. The community service team initiated the community empowerment program in Wonorejo Village, Pagerwojo District, Tulungagung Regency, toward an ecological village from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri University. This activity is a form of the team's concern for the conditions in Wonorejo Village, which is experiencing a decline in forest function, soil productivity, and water sources. The activities carried out include improving soil structure with organic materials, producing vegetable pesticides, and conserving soil and water. Farmers who participated in the extension and training welcomed this activity and entirely understood the concept of an ecological village globally. This activity is beneficial for increasing agricultural land productivity and the surrounding environment. The positive impact of this activity is the community's interest in applying organic materials in their agrarian business to maintain the sustainability and balance of nature. Pengelolaan pedesaan yang terpadu dan berkelanjutan sesuai fungsi sumberdaya alam diselenggarakan berdasarkan nilai-nilai dan kearifan lokal setempat. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk menjaga kelestarian dan keseimbangan alam demi keberlangsungan kehidupan dari generasi ke generasi. Terwujudnya desa ekologi bukan tanpa teknologi dan mekanisasi akan tetapi pemakaiannya disesuaikan kebutuhan dan kondisi setempat. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Pagerwojo Kabupaten Tulungagung menuju desa ekologi diinisiasi tim pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Kadiri. Kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk kepedulian tim terhadap kondisi di Desa Wonorejo yang mengalami penurunan fungsi hutan, produktivitas tanah, dan sumber air. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah perbaikan struktur tanah dengan bahanbahan organik, pembuatan pestisida nabati, konservasi tanah dan air. Petani peserta penyuluhan dan pelatihan menyambut dengan baik kegiatan ini dan cukup memahami konsep desa ekologi secara global. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk peningkatakan produktivitas lahan pertanian dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Program ini disinyalir dapat mengurangi risiko paparan virus di masa pandemi Covid-19. Upaya menerapkan PHBS bisa dilakukan dengan kebiasaan mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun sesudah maupun sebelum beraktivitas. Warga Dusun Ngampel, Desa Selodono masih abai dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, perlu adanya edukasi terkait metode yang benar dan baik dalam mencuci tangan dan kaitannya dengan resiko terpaparnya Covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah survey awal dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat Dusun Ngampel. Media yang digunakan untuk edukasi berupa whatsapps group dan flyer yang sudah dirancang dengan menggunakan metode kampanye dengan kalimat yang mudah ditangkap dan dipahami. Sosialisasi diikuti oleh warga dan pelajar yang berada di Dusun Ngampel, Desa Selodono. Warga dan pelajar sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi. Program pengabdian masyarakat terkait edukasi bahaya covid-19 dan cuci tangan pakai sabun (CTPS) memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman kepada masyarakat tentang resiko Covid-19 dan salah satu bentuk pencegahannya dengan kebiasaan mencuci tangan dengan menggunakan sabun sebagai bagian penerapan PHBS. Pandemi Covid-19 melanda seluruh dunia dan mengusik kehidupan umat manusia di seluruh penjuru negeri. Akar solusi dari adanya pandemi yang terus digaungkan adalah pentingnya menerapkan Pola hidup Bersih Sehat (PHBS). Tujuan dari kegiatan PHBS di Desa Luworo, Kecamatan Pilangkenceng, Kabupaten Madiun adalah memberi solusi masyarakat agar kesehatan tetap terjaga di masa pandemi Covid-19. Sejalan dengan hal itu, kegiatan lanjutan adalah pembuatan minuman herbal untuk menjaga stamina, imunitas, dan kesehatan masyarakat di masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan yakni dengan metode ceramah dengan kombinasi secara luring dan daring. Kegiatan penyuluhan PHBS dan pembuatan minuman herbal di Masa pandemi Covid-19 terlaksana cukup baik dengan indikator pemahaman isi materi dan praktik dari warga mencapai 100% dari jumlah warga yang mengikuti yakni 22 orang. Sementara itu, berdasarkan kuisioner yang dibagikan, para warga peserta penyuluhan beranggapan bahwa program itu cukup sulit ditindaklanjuti dengan alasan waktu. Hand sanitizer is a purchased and homemade product to meet the family’s antiseptic needs using easy-to-find ingredients. Kadiri University Community Service Team, through Kukerta 2021 program in collaboration with Gayam Village Government, conducted a counseling and training program on hand sanitizer making. The hand sanitizer utilized materials accessible to the public, namely Ivory Betel (Epipremnum aureum), commonly found as an ornamental plant around the Gayam Village area. Hand sanitizer products have the potential to be developed. Making natural hand sanitizers in liquid form is easy and requires low costs with simple equipment and economic value. The results of this community service activity can be used to meet the preservation needs of the family and be sold through village grocery stores and village unit cooperatives in Gayam Village by installing a product label for the broader market. Antiseptik dalam bentuk cairan semprot yang dikenal dengan hand sanitizer berfungsi memutus penyebaran mikroorganisme penyebab penyakit secara efektif tanpa menghambat gerak manusia terutama di era pandemi COVID-19. Hand sanitizer bukan hanya produk yang dibeli melainkan dapat diproduksi sendiri untuk memenuhi kebutuhan antiseptik keluarga dengan memanfaatkan bahan yang ada di sekitar. Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Kadiri melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata 2021 (Kukerta 2021) bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kelurahan Gayam, Kecamatan Mojoroto, Kota Kediri melakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan antiseptik cair dengan memanfaatkan bahan yang mudah diakses oleh masyarakat yaitu sirih gading (Epipremnum aureum) yang banyak ditemui sebagai tanaman hias pekarangan. Produk hand sanitizer memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Pembersih tangan dalam bentuk cair tidak sulit dan mahal untuk dibuat. Various kitchen and household organic wastes can be processed into fertilizer, including vegetable waste, skin and fruit residue, food waste, and agricultural and livestock waste. Although farmers can make their organic fertilizers from various natural ingredients, expert assistance is needed for fertilizer production with more consistent results. Provision of knowledge about the essential elements of plant needs that a variety of natural ingredients can represent can increase the ability to produce quality organic fertilizers. The community service team at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri University, took the initiative to introduce the management of kitchen waste into organic fertilizer, its functions, its advantages, its production, and its application on land or planting media to partner communities: farmers and their families in Nganjuk Regency. The partner community welcomed it well. Not only did they directly benefit from this training, but also this community service project contributed to the closer partnership between community members and between communities and higher education institutions for sustainable development.Bahan untuk pembuatan pupuk organik tersedia melimpah di sekitar rumah, murah, dan mudah dijangkau. Beragam limbah organik dapur dan rumah tangga dapat diolah menjadi pupuk termasuk sisa sayuran, kulit dan sisa buah, limbah makanan, dan limbah pertanian serta peternakan. Meski petani dapat membuat sendiri pupuk organik dari beragam bahan alami, pendampingan ahli diperlukan untuk produksi pupuk yang hasilnya lebih konsisten. Pembekalan pengetahuan tentang elemen penting kebutuhan tanaman yang dapat diwakili oleh beragam bahan alami tadi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan produksi pupuk organik berkualitas. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Kadiri berinisiasi untuk melakukan introduksi pengelolaan sampah dapur menjadi pupuk organik, fungsinya, keuntungan penggunaannya, cara pembuatan, dan aplikasinya di lahan atau media tanam kepada masyarakat mitra, petani dan keluarga tani di Kabupaten Nganjuk. In this case, livestock waste is the focus of researchers, considering that livestock waste that is not appropriately managed also affects the environment, including public health conditions. From this thought, community service was carried out in Blabak Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency. Using the Community Development method is an effort to develop community empowerment by making the community as subjects and objects directly, to increase their participation in development for their interests. The implementation method uses emancipatory participation to interact, communicate, and dialogue with residents through training or counseling activities. The result of community service is that socialization about the dangers of waste can make the community aware because there is a match between exposure to the dangers of waste and the conditions experienced by the community. Second, the impact of the Bokashi-making practice is that the sewers are not polluted due to the disposal of livestock manure, which reduces the unpleasant odor of the sewage disposal. The other side is that people understand that waste into bokashi fertilizer can be traded to earn income.Permasalahan Limbah adalah permasalahan utama bagi masyarakat untuk lebih peduli terhadap kondisi lingkungannya. Dalam hal ini limbah peternakan menjadi focus peneliti mengingat limbah ternak yang tidak di kelola dengan baik juga mempengaruhi lingkungan termasuk kondisi kesehatan masyarakat. Dari pemikiran tersebut pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Blabak Kecamatan Semen Kabupaten kediri. Menggunakan metode Community Development, merupakan usaha dalam mengembangkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dimana masyarakat adalah subyeks sekaligus obyek secara langsung dalam usaha peningkatan partisipasi mereka pada pembangunan untuk memenuhi kepentingan mereka pribadi. Untuk metode pelaksanannya memakai partisipasi emansipatoris, sehingga terjadi interaksi, komunikasi, dan dialog dengan warga melalui kegiatan pelatihan atau penyuluhan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat adalah Sosialisasi tentang bahaya limbah mampu menyadarkan masyarakat karena terdapat kesesuaian antara paparan bahaya limbah dan kondisi yang sedang di alami oleh masyarakat. Kedua, Dampak praktik pembuatan Bokashi adalah dari segi lingkungan selokan tidak tercemar karena pembuangan kotoran ternak yang dampaknya mengurangi bau tidak sedap dari pembuangan kotoran tersebut. In addition, there are efforts to utilize kitchen waste as a step in reducing waste accumulation. Then there is a breakthrough in training in planting in the yard that utilizes organic waste. The method used is community development, based on the community as the leading actor in planning and sustainably implementing program activities. The study results were; first, the training went well by providing training for fifteen homemakers applied to plant in their respective yards according to the direction of the community service implementing team. This training has an economic impact by reducing household expenses in the third month after harvest and can even be given to other neighbors. Another benefit is the community's ability to sort waste and use it as liquid organic fertilizer.Pekarangan adalah agroekosistem yang sangat baik serta berpotensi cukup besar dalam hal memenuhi kebutuhan hidup masyarakat. Selain itu terdapat upaya pemanfaatan sampah dapur sebagai langkah dalam mengurangi penumpukan sampah. Maka terdapat terobosan pelatihan dalam penanaman di lahan pekarangan yang memanfaatkan sampah organik. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu Community Development, yang berbasis masyarakat sebagai pelaku utama merencanakan, melaksanakan program kegiatan, secara berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian adalah pertama, Pelatihan Berjalan dengan baik dengan memberikan pelatihan 15 Orang ibu-ibu PKK dan semuanya mengaplikasikan penanaman di pekarangan rumahnya masing-masing sesuai dengan arahan tim pelaksana pengabdian masyarakat. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak ekonomi dengan memberikan manfaat mengurangi pengeluaran biaya rumah tangga pada bulan 3 setelah panen dan bahkan mampu di berikan kepada tetangga yang lain.
